Well I guess this location is closed. But it still confirmed my appointment and texted me In the morning to remind me. WTH?? Then I went to the one near by and had to go as a walk in!! read more

Quest Diagnostics - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Fountain Valley, California

I normally go to another quest on Brookhurst where the staff is amazing. This lab is in the memorial care building on Brookhurst and Talbert Fountain valley . The scenario I am a RN I was a few minutes late for my appt. A Muslim woman checked me in and said very snotty your late, Now you have to wait. So true n scrubs I waited and watched people go in. Waited watched 10 memorial care employees plow in to get covid testing . Waited over a hour. More people walked in . I said to her " why are you not calling me at all?" She said " you WERE LATE" I left... I did say " your a fucking bitch " Today I go back a young Asian guy checked me in and did my lab draw. The Muslim woman glares at me. I left saying she's a bitch from hell to a guy she was chewing out ... for being too early read more

Definitely have worked hard to earn the 2 stars they have... no patients in the back, staff hanging in their rooms while there is a room full of people waiting. read more

I love Huang, he is friendly, but very precise, and it never hurts. I'm glad they put the armless chairs back in the lobby. The computer to check in is easy. The lady at the desk is nice too. read more

Update since my last visit to Quest in FV. After all the rudeness, delayed appointment and lack of assistance, They make a mistake on Date of Birth and of course you cannot call or reach any customer service on the phone unfortunately had to go back and have them correct their mistake, and sure enough the same person who was shouting at the senior was not helpful, he was rude and told me he does not have any access to my record and to go back to the employer and have them fix it and when I told him I already spoke to my employer and they asked to contact Quest and have them fix it He did not like that as he took the documents of my hand and throw it away, of course of at this moment, I raised my voice and told him he cannot do that to my document and that this mistake was done by Quest and he needs to be corrected by Quest . He responds telling me " you need to leave now OR i will make sure I include your attitude in your employment record to make sure you do not get the job " Of course as you can imagine my shock at this point because this trained representative of Quest had just threatened me I have escalated this issue to the legal department of Quest, I want to share this with our community because this person at this location is the worst example of a human being and because of him will not never do business with Quest again. There are other labs and other establishment that are much capable of doing the same job with much better service and care Not just blood suckers read more

We've been here for last two years (taking blood test every 6 months for whole family ), and frankly we don't like this place. Customer service is bad. Most of nurses are talking to each other while customers waiting to have a question. Waiting times are horrible. I'm not sure there is manager at the facility. Hope that they'll improve in the near future. read more

Have been customer for 12 years. No more. 14 months ago, my doctor failed to provide a diagnosis code for 1 test by mistake. Medicare refused to pay for it and I was billed for the test (15604286). I have talked specifics directly with Quest and Medicare as well as providing the missing code on the doctor's submission forms 4 times via text. No one has responded to me yet. I keep receiving bills for the test. After 14 months of trying to set things straight, Quest's administrative web has won. I do not want to mess my credit up for $74.25. read more

I've had nothing but positive experiences with this Quest location. There are several in this medical complex; this one is in the newer building, 18111. Parking can be problematic so know that you may want to leave a few minutes early to find parking and walk over. I tend to have to park in the hospital parking lot in order to get to my appointment on time (and yes, tip-- ALWAYS make an appointment for lab services so that you'll avoid a ridiculous wait). I have the same tech each time. What I don't like is that they force you to pay your balance prior to service. I had a bill that is due in 10 days and I had to pay it upfront before my service. I get in and out really quickly and never have a wait. In fact, they will take you before your appointment. If you need to fast, make your appointment so that your fasting time is reasonable for your labs. Overall, I highly recommend this location and really like it for the convenience and efficiency I experience each time I've been here. read more

Do not come here. I've been waiting for over an one hour WITH an appointment. They have been calling in other patients before myself. The worst lab ever. The employees here are not helpful at all. Avoid this place at all cost. Go to a LapCorp. read more

Walk-in, only waited 5 mins. The man that helped me out was able to calm my nerves while drawing blood and it didn't hurt! read more

Quest Diagnostics - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Fountain Valley, California

I came in as a walking, first one there. 1 7am appointment comes in after me and the tech is telling me over 5 times not sure how long I'm going to have to wait because he is booked until 11. Then proceeds to tell me I can't wait in waiting room because its for appointment only. Horrible Customer Service. I work in Healthcare and know how long it takes to draw blood. Do NOT recommend this facility read more

I needed her prenatal labs done and we use an HSA insurance-where we get reimbursed or send in the bill to be covered. They pulled me into the draw area and had me wait for over an hour while sitting on the phone trying to figure out how to enter our non-insurance. They never offered a monthly payment plan which would have been the simplest solution. Instead they said labs would need to be paid in full prior to any draw (over $1,000). When I asked for more options, the woman that was billing and drawing had me wait while she tried to get a hold of her supervisor, then told her to wait outside so she can see a few more patients before the lunch hour, and that she would call back with a resolution after 1-it's been three days and we've heard nothing. These are my first prenatal blood tests. On the website it states "Quest is committed to all people getting their labs, regardless of uninsured or underinsured status" and says that there is a monthly payment option. We didn't see this until after we left and did research on the website and called our insurance. What I don't understand is why the staff at Quest didn't do any of the above. We are not the only ones with this type of healthcare and they need to receive training and updated information on how to help customers with it. read more

My mother and I have been shocked totally by the extremely bad and arrogant attitude this morning. The tech. lady was in very bad and unfriendly toward patients. We were happy that there's only 1 old lady ahead us and we do not have to wait 45-50 minutes like other Quest location. We know the real reason pretty soon when the tech. showed poker face and unpleasant mood. The worst was yet to come. My mother was tried 2 times to get the blood work done and the tech. complaint that my mother did not take water(??!!). Actually, my mother took 3 glasses water. Memorial Coast Hospital in Fountain Valley is extending quickly. Quest shall smart enough to assign one professional and pleasant tech. there. The tech. lady scares away all patients. Patients mostly in low mood and shall not be treated so bad and unpleasant attitude. We will back to Quest in Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and won't go Quest in Memorial Coast Hospital anymore. The score is -5 stars. read more

If zero stars were possible that's what I would give. I did not have appointment but the web site shows 3 min wait for walk in. Get there the waiting room is empty, I sign in my name it goes up on a wait board it says 4 mins. While I wait 4 other people come in w/o appointments a women from the back comes out and asks "any appointment " we all say no and she immediately gets rude indicating that they are very busy and they don't know how many people we're going to able to wait on. Meanwhile we all sit there no one's coming out from the lab as they've given blood. People start coming in who do have appointments she takes those immediately and keeps indicating to everyone that those waiting may not get in in a very rude tone. There seem to be enough time between people going in and calling the next person. At one point the rude tech came out called a name and the person was not there, I thought great I'm next take me but no she just goes into the back. 15 mins later a women comes in who was late for appointment and she goes right in. Every time the rude women comes out she just keeps informing people you might as well just leave and go line to make appointment. She told people they close at 11:30 for lunch I truly thing her goal was to get everyone to leave. People start leaving one by one. After waiting 1 1/2 hours I gave up and left. I been to many Quest labs over the years this is the worst one I have ever been to with such attitude. This person needs a attitude adjustment read more

UNBELIEVABLE. I have never had an experience like this anywhere. It's incredibly difficult to get an appointment for lab work at any Quest location, so I drove quite far to this one because they had the first available appointment. It was at 11:15 which was still tough, because I needed to fast. Reorganized my entire day around it. Arrived early and could not figure out what building it was in. There is a huge hospital/medical center here with multiple buildings and you cannot see the addresses on the buildings from the parking area. I drove through the massive parking structure TWICE and to the bank down the street before I found a place to park. I tried calling the location to tell them I was late, but you cannot reach a human at the Quest phone number. I wandered all around looking for the building number. Finally found it and got into the office ten minutes late. Arrived to a handwritten sign stating they were closed. The people walking around behind the counter ignored me, so I called out to one of them. She went and got someone else, who told me "You're late! I had to close." And that's that. Fasted for nothing and entire morning wasted. If I had been able to reach someone when I called, they could have saved me from parking and wandering around. Thanks, Quest. read more

Quest Diagnostics - Nice. - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Fountain Valley, California

Zaineb was my phlebotomist this am and not only was she one of the most sensitive caregivers I've encountered...she ensured that I got an appointment after being routed to the wrong Quest at Coast Memorial. She helped me get auth from my PCP and was patient centered all the way! And she painlessly drew my blood, skillfully! read more

I would not recommend this location. Rude staff and unprofessional approach as you walk through the door. I fully appreciate the health care professionals they work hard, the staff working today had bad attitudes so I left. No thank you. read more

Despite my 14 year old always being clam she nearly passes out every time is gives blood. This last time while at Quest in FV she did, completely, pass out. The phlebotomist handled the situation well and gave my daughter ample time to recover. Unfortunately, I don't remember the phlebotomist name as she is deserving of a nice compliment. read more

Always make an appointment if you can. Taken in promptly at appointment time. Marcel was kind, professional and made me feel comfortable ( not easy when you hate needles). He even got a vein that no one else at Quest Warner Avenue was able to draw from. Thank you Marcel!! read more

This is the best lab I have ever been too!! I have to take my son for routine blood work, etc, so we have visited many labs in OC and we always go to this Quest if possible. The tech is amazing. She knows who we are. Is kind, efficient, helpful, sensitive, I could go on forever. Thank you for making us feel human and important !!! read more

Waiting time can be a little bit long but Ms. Mazo is outstanding with the needle. She was very professional and attentive. Everything was very clean and the staff (her) was very friendly. This is the first Quest where I feel comfortable and taken good care of. If I had to suggest a little improvement it would be for cookies in the waiting room and more staff. Overall I was very happy, thank you. read more

I am super afraid of needles and even writing about this is causing me anxiety. But this was hands down the best blood test I've ever gotten. The staff was extremely calm and quick. I had no bruising and little pain. I wish I didn't live all the way in Anaheim or I would be back! read more

I came here at 1:20 but they close from 12-1:30 for lunch, so I waited for 10 mins. I walked in at 1:32 and they were promptly open! Came in for a regular routine blood test but I actually ended up fainting in the exam room. Kathleen was super helpful and very knowledgeable of how to help me. She stayed calmed through the whole incident which made me feel much better. She even called after to make sure I was doing ok! I am so impressed by her customer service and skill. I will be coming back and definitely recommend this office! Thank you again Kathleen!! read more

Sure a whole lot of complainers. Guess I'm not a complainer. But then I grew up in a time when people didn't make it their job to complain. In the last two and a half years I have probably been there over fifty times. Love everyone there.I just think you complainers need to find a different location to complain about. Whinners don't impress anyone. read more

While in the waiting room, I watched the front office staff be rude & aggressive to 2 elderly people. First, the lady trying to check-in. Her appt was not coming up in the system. She was looking in her phone for the confirmation, the frustrated Quest staff, took the phone out of her hands without asking, scrolled through her phone, & then handed it back. Yuck! Who does that?!?! Next the elderly man, like me, didn't have an appt & was upset when she said it would be a 2-hour wait. He was justifiably upset as the Quest website quoted him a 5-minute wait. Now picture a frail older man & a young angry woman who physically leans in & with a mean voice says it's not her fault and should wait in his car. After seeing this, I will not have my mother go there alone. This office's conduct bordered on elderly abuse. If this is how "nice" they are in the morning, I am frightened for those that go in the afternoon. The staff member mentioned above was professional to me; however, I am not elderly. The wait was not 2-hours, only 50 minutes. The lady that drew my blood did a STELLAR job. Do not let the seniors that you love go there alone. read more

I would give this place a 0 if possible. Our Dr office made an appt for my son and I had the email with me showing my appt. the tech said that we DID NOT have an appt. I had to call the Dr office upstairs and the office manager had to come down and clarify that we DID have an appt and they should have looked on their computer. All this waiting made us late to the next appt regarding my son's surgery that we have been waiting over a year for. Why isnt this place more organized or helpful? I would never come here again even if it meant driving to the other end of Orange County to have blood work done. read more

Quest Diagnostics at 18111 Brookhurst, 2nd Floor, Fountain Valley, CA. My sister took my mom there for a blood test. The lady at the desk was very rude. Her name was Veronica. She was very condescending. She said she did not have the order from the doctor. I am sure she did. She had already told them that she didn't have time to do the lab work. They ended up taking a tram to another building to another lab and the people there were very nice and patient. This lady Veronica needs to be written up!!! My mother is very sick and doesn't need to be traveling around to different labs because this lady is too lazy!!! read more
