Review on two appointments over two weeks. First appointment: I made a 10am appointment online. I took a screenshot of QR code and scanned it at the kiosk when I arrived at 9:40am. A friendly young lady greeted me 10 minutes later. Took the sheet from my doctor then took my blood and I was out by 10am. I know not everyone will have the experience yet, it may make sense to have an appointment and have the doctor paper work in hand to expedite the process. Second appointment: I arrived very early for a 11:45am appointment, 11:15am and checked in using QR code. Several people came in after me and were seen first which was ok since I was early. I did notice over 30 minutes of waiting that the staff was not as friendly and seemed rushed/disorganized. They called my middle name at 11:55 approximately, but I was unsure if it was me since there were other people waiting and they did not say the last name. I told them my first name and asked them if it could be me and the associate got annoyed, shut the door, came back and asked if it was John. I feel attention to detail is important especially, when sticking needles in people and labeling their blood, so I did not feel comfortable staying given the above. I don't take it personally, people have not so great days and bring that negative energy to work, I simply choose to remove myself from those environments. Had an appointment here 7 am it is now 7:40 I had a four hour test and I ended up leaving because everybody else was being called in before me & it was taking so long this by far is the worst location to come to never again such a waste of my time read more

The kiosk check in system is horribly flawed. I should be at work right now doing this for work. They make it seem like it's a 10 minute process when checking in online. I arrived at the kiosk at 1:45 and the next available appointment is 3:10. Its 3:10 and Im still waiting. Why make an appointment online to have to make a time appointment in person? And if you're gonna do that dont staff 2 people when theirs 15 people waiting. read more

NEVER use Quest. Been waiting 2 hours to pick up a prescription which was faxed twice. They said it take a half hour fax to come over. My doctor's office them faxed it 2 more times. In the meantime they closed for the day. Came back the next morning waited another hour to pick up what I needed. (I printed out the script from my doctor). After having a melt down the supervisor came out picked it off the self which took one minute. I would like to give them a zero rating. They are also rude and incompetent. read more

Huge backup even for those with appointments due to inefficient staff. Staff is incredibly rude. Worst Quest I have ever visited.

If I can give zero stars I would. Doing my duty to inform patients to beware. My elderly mom visited the location this morning, and ended up w lots of bruising and pain. She complained to the technician, who ignored her and when my mom provided her insurance card details, the girl was busy preoccupied with her cell phone. When I went to ask for her name, she did not turn around but was using her back to respond and did not want to provide her name as I mentioned I will be launching a formal complaint. Her initials were MN. My mom had written a review earlier today, however it was taken down. The technician said my mom's vein collapsed while she was taking blood and had to jab her twice. Technician showed Lack of empathy and very unprofessional. read more

Came here bright and early for my 715am appointment. The process was easy. Check in at the kiosk upon entering. And wait to be called. The waiting area was huge and since it was so early, quite empty. I had to take an 1 hr glucose test. So the phlebotomist gave me the sugar drink and told me to drink it within 5mins and to set my timer for 1hr and go back in and see her. Process was painless and I wouldn't say fast because I had to wait an hr. But aside from that they got my results so fast. The next day i went to my dr. And the results were in! Making me a happy camper bc I hate waiting. Lol. read more

Fast and efficient service IF you make an appointment beforehand. I had an 11:10 appt. Arrived at 11:05 and checked in at the kiosk. Don't forget your drivers license and insurance card. No sooner than I sat down as I was called in. Young lady was kind and excellent at drawing blood (got vein at first attempt). I have very small, hard to get at veins. I was in my car by 11:20! read more

phlebotomist was fine except that they were running way late. but: the tv in the waiting room is way too loud!!!! it is aggravating to be yelled at by a tv shouting the same ads for quest at us over and over and over!!! please make it stop i'm losing my mind!!! read more

Checked in early for appointment. BIG MISTAKE. Waited 50 minutes as others with earlier appts kept coming and going. Got taken 20 minutes after appt time. I will never use Quest again. read more

Came straight from the doctor's office where two nurses were unsuccessful in trying to take my blood. I knew that I had to stop before a third try and just come to where they get it right every single time. Quest in Syosset is the absolute best place to get blood drawn. Melissa Loukatos and Elizabeth are unbelievably amazing. If you're like me and have had bad experience after bad experience with tough veins...your luck is about to change. I will never let another facility even try again. Quest in Syosset has such a calming way of handing their patients. They are amazing with all types of people. The training they get really shows in their interpersonal skills; I ONLY have had the best experiences at this location and can't even recommend them enough. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars. I went in today and should have left. First negative - you need to sign in at the kiosk. No employees sanitizing the kiosk between patients and no gloves available for patient use. Next - I specifically asked before they tried to draw my blood, if this is a butterfly. The reply did not negate my question. After 2 attempts and no blood drawn, I requested another technician. I asked if the needle was a butterfly and the reply was we do not have butterflies at this location. I then left. This entire visit was a disaster. read more

Can't say that anyone actually wants to get bloodwork done, but when the place can make the experience a little less daunting it means a lot. Came here this morning by recommendation of a coworker and it has been the best experience I've had at one of the stand alone locations. I signed in and sat for no more then 2 minutes before my name was called. The technician who worked with me was extremely nice and competent. My veins are tricky and she got it on the first try. She also offered me some advice on what I was going through which was much appreciated. This is my new go-to spot for bloodwork! read more

I wish I could give less stars. Came here on my lunch break waited 40 min and had to walk out. They have you sign in on a kiosk there's not even a person at the desk. There was only one person there waiting when I got there and slowly the place filled up and still no one to assist us. No we will be right with you, no one to take insurance info- nothing. Had to walk out since there was no one anywhere to be found and I had to get back to work. What a joke! Hire more professional staff. read more
