We have had this appointment scheduled for a month. Her insurance hasn't changed. The office has had her insurance information since she made the appointment. They could have called us at any point prior to 9:25am today and we could seek care elsewhere. The front desk staff are completely incompetent and unprofessional. This is a practice that needs to be absorbed by a bigger hospital organization and ensure competent patient care. We wasted our time and my girlfriend now has delay of care in tending to her active medical issues. Completely unacceptable. Do not go here.

I physically went to the location with the bill question and got no answers and the manager didn't call me as I was told she was. Also, good luck reaching them over the phone! It is impossible! Even when they do tests and tell us we will call back with the results they never do! Once again, every single time I have to go there in person to ask for it! Some doctors are awful as well, telling me mu child needs cough meds and I should take one over the counter, after I told her we already went through this and no one of the over the counter help, she sent the referral for meds to the pharmacy and guess what she prescribed, right, the meds over the counter already told her didn't work. We had to go back next day and pay for the visit again! As I said, sick and tired. Time to look for better location.

I couldn't even hold my son anymore, I couldn't even lift a fork to feed myself or feed my baby! Anyway my mom was told about this dr by a friend, called and got me a same day appointment!!!! She called at least 10 other doctors in the area btw. With everyone oh next week we can get her in. I got right in here, and I can't even stress the relief I had after seeing the doctor. Cortisone shot yes! I had a huge calcium deposit in my elbow! Which was causing the extreme pain. As my hubs filled out paperwork for me (I couldn't hold a pen) I think all doctors should have emergency appointments like this place did. Like I could just wait a week to be able to use my arm? I had to spend $4,000 to have fat removed from my butt because it had been moved to put in the hip. The hip was fine so I couldn't sue for malpractice. I tried communicating with the lead doctor to see if they could reimburse at least half of what I spent with no response. I looked deformed. I have a 7" scar that is about 1" wide. When I hear from other women that they have small imperceptible scar and I see that their profile is symmetrical I'm triggered. The other docs & PA's may be fine but I would go elsewhere for a hip replacement.

I chose the practice b/c my FIL has been seeing Dr. Waqaas A. Quraishi for ESIs for many years. During our first consultation, he spoke only to my husband while ignoring me. During that visit, I told him there was only one pain med I couldn't take because it made me so ill I couldn't eat, and it made me suicidal. After the first injection, I went to my CVS and found that he had prescribed that exact med. I called the office and was told there is no note about it in the file. He changed it to Gabapentin but was doling them out 14 at a time for me to take at bedtime. After the second injection, I called and left messages for Kathleen, his chirpy assistant who said, " Here's my direct line, call me anytime" for three days in a row. Crickets. On the fourth day, I called the receptionist and told her that if it was not taken care of immediately, I would show up in the waiting room and make a scene. Twenty minutes later, I got a call that it was done. When I found a new pain management doctor yesterday, he immediately diagnosed bursitis in my hip and offered to do the procedure then and there. I asked him about refilling my Gabapentin, he said, "Sure. Three times a day, right?" I was stunned that I could take it during the day as needed.

The medical assistant called back after 10 minutes and told me that I could go to the office. There were 3 chairs outside Dr. Layne's office. The chairs were socially distance from one another. The assistant came out of the office & told me to sign in & then she took my temperature which was 98.6. I return to my chair. The wait was about 20 minutes and I was called to go into the examination room followed by Dr. Layne. She wrote down the required information that I gave her. I was weighed & examined by the doctor. She told me that I had irritable bowl syndrome & that I was to keep a 6 week dairy of everything that I ate. She told me the food & beverages that I could not eat or drink. Dr. Layne sent me up to the Northwell Labs for blood work. I was relieved that I finally had taken action & I was in the hands of Dr. Layne who was calm and I definitely feel that both she and I will put an end to my misery.
