Super slow, not very helpful, not available to help. I've waited 45+ minutes for a drop off, I'd rather drive double distance than this crap

It says they close at 4:30 but they actually close at 4 o'clock so I'm very disappointed with the fact that, the older white haired lab woman, was just simply sitting there with the lights out, no clients, and doing nothing. Just waiting for the time clock, very rude. Gas isn't free nor is my time. apparently my time means nothing to quest. This is the second time I've had a problem with their labs And their lab agents. Note: after reading the reviews, I can see that maybe this was a blessing in disguise. Yikes! read more

This has got to be one of the worst locations I've ever had my blood drawn. There are only two lab techs here and sometimes just one. They take approximately 45 minutes for each patient for a simple blood draw, I've never been to a slower lab. Not sure if it's because there's no oversight here but i would highly suggest avoiding this place. read more

I love the convenience of Quest, and have for years. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience today. I debated about sharing it, but feel this is the best way to caution others because--in this case--a bit of harm was done. I went in for a 1:10 pm scheduled appointment of a simple blood draw today. Please understand this is not age discrimination when I say a quite older lady was the only one working today. She was very nice, but I got the feeling that this one might hurt a bit. (She was the only one working and seemed hurried; I was in the middle of front-to-back appointments; she took me right in the second her previous customer crossed the door frame. Seems to me phlebotomists usually take a few moments between clients to get settled and handle paperwork). The pain was pretty horrible. When it was over, she placed a big wad of gauze on my arm and advised me to not carry anything with it for 30 minutes. When I got to my car, I looked down and realized I'd substantially bled into the gauze...it was like another test sample! You can also see the aftermath bruise 5 hours later. At 57, I've never seen anything besides a Band-aid after a blood draw. I will add that I am not low on red blood cells or platelets, so there's no reason I would have bled this much from a single stick. From what I've read, these issues happened from poor technique or a needle too large for the task. (I had several tests listed, so perhaps she used a really big needle to draw a large amount of blood faster? It hurt like HELL. It's not usually fun, but it felt like a cannula. Ouch!) If you are the lady who drew my blood, please don't think I've intended malice. Perhaps you need more help behind you and more time between customers. I wish the best for you and hope Quest can provide better support as you do your job. I think you were too rushed with me. I've had big groups of vials of blood drawn before, and this never happened. It's not a tragedy, but it was painful and a little unsafe. I'm only leaving this review because those who are anemic or have a bleeding disorder could be harmed in a situation like this. People who touch people ARE NOT ROBOTS! Value human employees and accommodate them! I loved that lady for the wisdom she shared. She matters. read more

I won't be going back to this lab. They didn't follow the doctors order for ALL the lab work that was requested. They only did part of it. I can't get medication refills until the doctor gets labs, which she didn't get thanks to Quest being so sloppy!!! Will be going to CPL for future blood work. read more

Chose Randall's location...tech was really nice. I didn't have an appointment and only waited 20 mins at the most.

They will let you make an appointment online but can't do anything with a doctor order. Additionally, th door is broken and doesn't close which leads right into the waiting room. so your in patient privacy violations. read more

I've never left a one star review for anything - but I would have left 0 stars if possible. I had blood drawn yesterday, had an 8:40 a.m. appointment. There was only one person working there and he was doing his very best to keep up but it was impossible. No other staff, and he said he had been working this way for 8 days with NO HELP. So patients are waiting and waiting, I only had to wait 45 minutes. I can only imagine the wait later in the day! The tech himself was very kind and courteous and apologetic. There's no excuse for Quest to have only one person on staff for 8 days in a row. If they can't get more staff, then they need to make fewer appointments. People were there who wanted to get blood drawn before work - no such luck! Also the tech often worked through his lunch to accommodate patients. This whole situation is extremely unfair to patients and the staff. The lab itself is a very small, and the waiting area became very crowded very quickly. The 6-foot distance requirement was a joke. Quest should spend a little more money to get a decent-sized lab and waiting area. I'll never go back to this location. btw, this review is for the Quest lab on Gattis Road in Round Rock. This location is inside the Randalls on Gattis School Rd. It's in the back near the pharmacy. We tried calling numerous times to make an appt. Apparently only one person works in the clinic most of the time & can't answer the phone. We decided to just walk in. The process was fast, friendly & painless. And I believe you can go to Quest online to make appts. read more

I've been to other quest diagnostics for many many years. The experience today was the worse I've ever experienced. The tech was abrupt, rude, and to be honest a smart ass. I brought in a sample for a client that has been called in by referring physician. I wasn't greeted. The waiting room was empty. I saw tech and told her I was asked to deliver the sample to this property. She abruptly told me to sign in on the pad. I shared it wasn't for me and that the order had already been placed. She barked at me to use the person of the sample and fill out the info. I did so and the pad told me I had 12 min wait. I barely sat when she called me to the interior room. She spoke to me and I told her I couldn't understand her, she barked at me to put the sample on the counter. I told her that I didn't hear her probably because of the mask and she retorted to me that "It's just a mask!" I explained to her I wasn't trying to start something with her I genuinely didn't understand her. She found the match up of information. I told her to have a good day and she mumbled something under her breath. WORST absolutely WORST customer service and visit with Quest I've ever had. Wouldn't send my Enemy's to this address for lab work! read more

I drive over here to get the dreaded (well for me) blood work done. Why oh why they moved away from the Hospital area no clue, yet I drive. Why: 1-I can make an appointment using their online system. And they those WITH APPTs do go back first if they are really busy and have walk-ins. 2. They do take walk-ins. A couple weeks ago I panicked-I didn't have an appointment nor could get I get a same day one online. I showed up at opening, ready to do (and fasting) and was done. Perfect! 3. Via the Quest Diagnostics app, I have access to my tests shortly after my doctor does. I am able to see trends AND easily send the reports myself to additional doctors (even those in other cities) without having all contact info memorized. 4. Finally I'm known in the industry as "a bad stick". That sounds like I'm no fun at a party, actually I simply have horrible veins. Ive been to other labs; when they hit their "stick limit", Ive had to stop and come back another day. NEVER WITH QUEST. They always can find a great vein, and then decide (based on the number of vials needed) whether to use a pedi needle or not. I'm skipping a lot, but-I began going to Quest at their old location in 2009 or so and have never had a problem with a blood draw. And I am a complete problem. Yes, it will happen one day, I'm a realist but so far we're doing great. read more

This lab is horrible! No consideration for any customer! Make sure you don't go at lunch time they are sealed tighter then a drum. There's no drop off box for specimens. So if your a new widow, sicker then a dog, by yourself, running a fever and you need to turn in a specimen you better work around their schedule. I could not stand any longer, I was sick I put the specimen in a plastic bag with the directions from the doctor. I then went home and went to bed. They threw my specimen away! Because I did not wait for them to reopen. I'm so fucking sick of the civilian medical system. The military took better care of us then these guys are doing for us. read more

My experience was fast and convenient. The laboratory is located in the back far right hand corner of the Randles.

Nate did a great job. I went early saturday morning, I am an extremely hard draw...he got it very quickly and it didn't hurt. I went to the research location and the lady there was not friendly and couldn't hit a vein if it were on a dartboard. Go see nate at randalls in round rock if u need to go to quest!!
