No bruise ! 4 hours after my lab draw!

Loved my experience at this quest. Had an appointment today @ 2:40. Walked by 2:45. There is a receptionist on site but seems to be busy doing back office stuff as well. I'm so scared of needles and always walkout bruised (even with a good plump vein). Ben S. Was great! I turned my head to not see and waiting for the pain, but then I heard the tubes being switched out. OMG! I felt nothing!! He's good at his job! Thank you Ben S.!

First time at this location and got excellent service from Ben S. Smaller than the Quest by my house and so fast. Clean lobby but could use another couple of chairs. I went for the free street parking.

We arrived and I signed in with the Ipads on the counter. We arrived at 11:00 a.m. It was 2:00 p.m. and the workers kept announcing that the system was down. After a few of their announcements, they placed a clipboard on a counter and stated,"if you have printed orders from the doctor, sign in on this sheet, and they placed the clipboard on the counter where the Ipads were located. People kept coming in. There was a young blonde hair young girl sitting on one of the desks. As more people walked in, she stated," our system is down. Its getting close to 3 and we will only take the patients with an appointment. "It's close to 3 now and we're prioritizing appointments only." I waked over to the counter. I informed her that we had arrived at 11 and that we had signed in on the IPads. Then this is what she replied. "It's close to 3 now and we are prioritizing appointments so you can choose to leave because we're not taking any walk in's. I asked her, "So you're telling me that we've been here since 11 a.m. and we're not going to seen? To which she replied the same thing, like a broken record, It's close the three and we're prioritizing appointments only.... I then informed her I had already heard her state that and I proceed to ask her for a supervisors name and number. She replied, ok and handed me a sticky note with: Amanda (818) 482-4967. I have been dialing this number and no one picks up, not even an answering machine. What type of people choose a job to work with the public but don't know how to treat, greet or help the public.

The best. Ive been coming here for years and im still very happy with my experience here. I walked…read morein today (its a Monday today) at around 11am and there were only like 3 people in there with me (only 1 when I walked in then 2 or 3 more while i was waiting). I was scared it wouldnt be the same anymore for me when I switched out insurances to my EPO insurance with my job, but when I called they easily told me they accepted it without even having to run anything and when I got there the wait was extremely fast, the process was extremely simple, the place was extremely clean and with nice aesthetics, and Jessica the NP I saw this time prescribed me exactly what I hoped for and needed (she didnt just give me basic amoxicillin, she went above and beyond prescription-wise to cover whatever possible current bacterial sickness it was i have (bad cough for over a month now) by going a step above and prescribing augmentin and im extremely happy with that decision because 1) she actually looked at my history and asked me what autoimmune condition I have and when I told her one of them is sjrogens (yes I have multiple lifelong autoimmune conditions now induced from prior years of intense stress, I came out with several long term conditions that affect me ever since some intense periods of stress for several years from like 2016 and onwards) she said the augmentin would be less drying for me so I really appreciate that she looked at all angles and initiated taking this into consideration, and 2) it will cover much more strains than pure amoxicillin which will prevent me from taking an antibiotic that may not kill what I have and we all know that taking antibiotics that wont do what it needs to do causes a whole other bunch of unnecessary problems, so im glad she wasnt stingy/playing it too safe or basic with the prescription like how alot of other providers may be at times) and I quickly left with exactly what I needed. They also have Xray machines there in case you need any diagnostics like that and the only ones they dont do is XR skull ot XR abdomen. My copay only ended up being $15 and im so so so freaking glad I have a place i can still go to now for a great urgent care experience if I ever need to even after the stress of switching out of my insurance to another one, so im super relieved and appreciate Advanced Urgent Care of Pasadena so much. The girl that picked up the phone was super sweet (i love that she would call me Hun hahah and she was so helpful and nice, she also would initiate giving me important info that would prevent potential headache that could be avoided too like telling me that they would close earlier today at 3 because of memorial day which i appreciate), the guy at the front was also super nice, Oscar the XR tech who took my vitals was nice, and so was the other sweetheart who also escorted me out of the room (another nice girl, I think she had glasses on). I didn't even have to do anything for checkout. It was the fastest visit ever and I got 100% what I needed. When I walked out it was only like noon sharp but I will say that it got way busier between the time that I walked in at 11am till when I walked out at noon. The waiting room was about at least half full when I left, so im guessing maybe like 6+ people, but still looked quite manageable and like i said the place is so nice the wait just doesnt FEEL long even if it does end up being a little longer. They are fast, efficient, clean, the providers give you what you need, and most of all, they easily have accepted all my insurances even after switching to EPO. Went to the pharmacy after to pick up my med, super cheap, like $6 for the augmentin. Even cheaper than my prescription nasal spray !! Lol. Thank god for this place

I'm leaving this review based solely on my interaction with Nurse Practitioner Jessica Karaguezian…read more Our interaction lasted less than 10 minutes, during which I briefly shared my symptoms and simply requested two tests. In a condescending tone, she berated some of my personal history regarding my visit which felt highly uncalled for given she knows nothing about me and it was completely irrelevant to my visit. When I received the bill, she had submitted CPT code 99204, a high-level code designated for moderate complexity decision-making and typically associated with 45-59 minute visits. This seemed quite excessive for asking for two routine tests, nothing complex. To me, this felt like significant overbilling for a brief 10-minute visit. Using a code such as 99203 fit the description of the visit much better based on both complexity and time (but I guess lower codes don't charge as much). Had I not disputed it, I would have been stuck paying the difference from my copay. Thankfully, the billing department, who was beyond helpful, and the attending physician made it right and corrected the charge for me. Both of them deserve five stars. If I need to return, I will make sure to request anyone but Jessica.

Was brought here by a friend immediately on Friday night and had surgery Saturday morning to get a titanium rod and screws. The nursing staff was excellent, and my surgeon Dr. Shah was super cool and did a phenomenal job. From Friday to Monday, they did everything possible to keep me comfortable. TBH I'm shocked this place only has 3 stars... it's a great hospital with an even better staff. During my delivery, Dr. Edward Merchant allowed my due date to lapse significantly. On the day of delivery, I was ignored for hours following the departure of the head nurse. Despite my deteriorating condition, Dr. Merchant refused to intervene and went to sleep in the physician's rest area. A code was eventually called when my blood pressure dropped dangerously low. My previous physician, who was on call, had to intervene to perform a crash emergency C-section. Furthermore, Dr. Merchant falsified my medical records by documenting the event as a "normal uneventful delivery." It was an emergency crash C-section as confirmed by the nurses to me the following day. In a subsequent emergency room visit for a severe allergic reaction, I was dismissed by the triage nurse, Maryann Magdaleno, RN, and sent back to a filthy, crowded waiting room for hours. I eventually went home and was called back at 3:00 AM, at which point my blood pressure was 60/0. While my chart indicates I was seen by a Dr. Stinnett, I never saw a physician during that visit. Despite reporting these incidents to the appropriate oversight agencies and the BRN, I have not received a satisfactory resolution. The hospital has continued to stonewall requests for information regarding staffing schedules and this particular nurse on call that night. I am formally expressing my concerns regarding the unethical and unprofessional conduct I recently experienced from Huntington Hospital medical staff. This behavior compromised my safety and fell well below the expected medical standards for their scope of practice. It is essential that the personnel involved are held accountable for these actions to ensure that future patients do not encounter the same lack of care and professionalism. I trust that you will take the necessary steps to address this matter. These experiences were devastating, and I cannot recommend Huntington Hospital to anyone seeking safe or professional medical care.

She wasn't welcoming, avoided eye contact when I asked a question about my insurance, and came across as uninterested in helping. As the first person patients see when they walk into the office, a friendly and approachable attitude makes a big difference. Unfortunately, I didn't experience that here. On top of that, I waited an excessive amount of time just to receive my TB assessment paperwork and my change after paying with cash. The wait was frustrating, especially for something that should have been a quick visit. Between the poor customer service and the long wait, this will most likely be my last time coming to this clinic. I'm leaving this review to give others a realistic idea of what they may experience regarding wait times and patient care. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the front office experience.
