I have mixed feelings about Quest, depending on luck. One time there can be an interminable wait, and another time, it can materialize as a quick, easy, and seamless experience. Yesterday was the latter. We took my son, who is on the autism spectrum, to the Quest on 8855 Immokalee Road, and had less than a 5-minute wait (albeit, there were not many people in the waiting room). We were soon greeted by Cheryl, who served as my son's phlebotomist. She immediately tried to ease my son's fears of the needle and did everything she could to assure him that he was safe and in good hands. She used clever techniques to distract him, such as asking him about his favorite song and even singing along. The visit started as a nerve-racking event but transformed into a fun, interactive experience. While I rate Quest Labs four stars, Cheryl deserves 5+ stars and should be commended for her outstanding performance. By the way, her technical skills are exemplary. She barely left a mark on my son's arm. My family and I will seek out Cheryl as our family phlebotomist, for all the aforementioned reasons. read more

Given the screenshots if the place can't provide service or accomodate people it should just close, when I went to the closest quest they didn't even bother to consider I was put on standby with indefinite time. Why waste people's time putting a calendar they can't come through, just close. read more

This is the second time I've been to a quest location when it says online the hours are until 3 and I got there at 2:30 to drop off a 24 jr urine sample only to find the doors locked. Are they that unprofessional and unorganized that they can't list the correct hours online? Or do they just close when they feel like it? Unreal that I wasted 45 minutes round trip. It is a disaster. With an appointment or without an appointment they are a disaster, you have to be willing to wait a minimum of an hour if you have an appointment, and more than 3 hours if you don't have one, with terrible attention. read more

Went to Quest for the first time several weeks ago before 6am! There were several of us there, None of us could make appointments at home online because the computer would not accept them. None of us knew what was going on and than Farah walked into talk with us! She was the consumate professional! She explained the process and the enigma that we were trying to navigate! Disorganized, incompetent, rude people work here. I wouldn't trust them! Appointments made are over one hour behind and they take walk-ins before people who make appointments. Got text that my appointment was ready just to be told to wait for another 45 minutes inside lobby. I was finally called and as I sat in the private room to get my blood taken another employee said that people were arguing in the lobby they wanted to go ahead of me so she literally told me to go BACK to the lobby and wait even LONGER! I have a horrible phobia of needles and getting my blood drawn, I made an appointment and got in within minutes. The person drawing my blood was very accommodating and took me to a chair I could lay down in. I was very anxious and dizzy and they made gave me water and a cold compress until I felt better. The only good experience I've ever had getting my blood drawn. But I would definitely make an appointment because it is very hard to get in as a walk in. read more

Absolutely no information is provided to the patients in the waiting room. If you miss your appointment you then need to schedule for another day. Do not go on the standby list. Although they tell you to do it they never ever call you from it. And they never explain that all patients throughout the day will go before you even if they are early for their appointments or if the lab is behind. This place has the rudest employees. I went here with an appointment. Was taken back and told there were no labs ordered for me which I know there were because I watched the dr put them In. I told her I had the script in my car and I would be right back. When I came back in she had taken someone else back and I had to wait another 30 minutes. When I said I didn't appreciate that I have a babysitter at home with my kids she rolled her eyes at me and said what would you like me to do. read more

I have been going to this location for some time now. Today their service was shameful, one of their employees jumped and began yelling at me absurdly. She caused a commotion all while I remained calm, she then began to rant to her worker friends in English... Would give this place a negative number if I could. It is mis-managed completely. Techs don't know what they are doing. Wait times take forever, there is never any appts available for a week out. The techs don't seem to move very fast and quest overall isn't trying to fix the problem by training better or hiring better. I have seen techs spill someones urine on their gloves, then move on to another task without changing gloves. I have seen techs leave an older patient who went and gave specimen and then comes back and no one knows where his specimen should be placed and he leaves it on counter and leaves with his specimen unmarked. Quest is 3rd world unprofessional. Today I am sitting at another quest without appt after last week when they took my blood they used the wrong order in their system, taking the wrong tests. Again, professional? So now I have been waiting almost an hour and will have to pay a second time. State Leaders should check quest out. Quests my Quest app keeps sending emails and when you click on make appt it apparently uses whatever lab is associated with that email, even if order was actually filled. You cant make this up. Who is running Quest? I have never, ever had any of these problems at LabCorp. In fact, LabCorp has never been anything but professional. Quest is horrible. Across the board and someone in the government should regulate this company or close them down. Lastly they allow a waitlist that for over an hour has never decreased only increased in patients waiting. I have explained my issues & concerns regularly with my HR dept. DO NOT make an appointment at this location!! They have the worst customer service and have no consideration for anyone who takes the time to make an appointment or adhere to the COVID safety features that Quest says are in place. I made an appointment for 1:30pm and had arrived and was checked in at 1:24pm. Upon check-in, I chose the "Wait by Text" feature, which alerts you when your appointment is ready so that you can wait wherever you feel comfortable. I chose my car that was parked in front of the building. I received a text message at 1:37pm that my appointment was ready. I walked into the building at 1:38pm (the time it took for me to go from my car to the front door of the building) and noticed my name was no longer on the screen. I spoke to the woman at the front desk, Farrah J., who told me that she'd be with me shortly. After waiting 20 additional minutes, I asked Farrah about my appointment and told her that I didn't see my name on the screen. While looking up my name, she treated me with such disrespect and wouldn't even acknowledge me by looking at me. She was clearly very annoyed and responded hastily with "I called you and I have records." I explained to her that she gave me no grace period, as I only showed up 1 minute after I received the text message. She continued to keep repeating, "I called you, and I have it all documented." I tried to explain to her that I wasn't refuting the fact that I received the text message or that she had called me, I was expressing to her that I received the text message at 1:27pm and walked in the door at 1:28pm. I lost my appointment by 1 minute. I was unable to express this to her as she kept interrupting me and tried to move onto the next patient. There were several people in the waiting room at the time and they all were equally stunned at Farrah's response and actions. Another patient right after me, made an appointment, set up the text feature, and when Farrah called her, as soon as she didn't hear an acknowledgement from the lobby, she moved to the next person. It was no more than a minute before she called the next patient and removed her name from the board too. She had done the same thing! I asked her if there was absolutely anything that she could do because at this point, I had been waiting 40 minutes and I drove 45 minutes from Fort Myers. She completely ignored me, stopped responding to me, and called up the next patient. I was never rude or disrespectful to her and I was completely floored as to why I was being treated in this manner. I never leave reviews and I had to in this instance. Avoid this location at ALL COSTS!!! It's not worth it! read more

I needed to have bloodwork drawn today and I looked online at Quest and it said there was a 14 minute wait time for walk-ins at this location. The woman who came to the door to check me in said that Quest no longer does walk-ins. There were only 3 people in the waiting room. I told her that it still says that they do on the website. I asked her if there was anyway that she could possibly fit me in and she rudely said "No." I went to Labcorp right across the street in Walgreens they took me in 5 minutes with no attitude. There is good reason why this location rates so poorly and it begins the moment you open the door and feel unwelcome. The staff at this location needs to understand and appreciate the importance of customer/patient service. We are not there to serve them which is the distinct impression I had. Staff misrepresented what could be done for me as well as the wait times. I had an appointment but that did not seem to matter. Most unhelpful and rude. Amazing customer service at this location! I didn't have an appointment but really needed to get bloodwork done today and Kayleigh was able to squeeze me in. Quest Diagnostics on 8855 Immokalee has the WORST and atrocious customer service I have ever seen. I made an appointment for labs today at 8:00 because 1) I start work at 9:00 am and 2) since I'm diabetic I cannot wait too long after fasting. I get to the office at 7:55 and registered in their kiosk. They started calling everyone even the walk -ins who came in after me. I see that my name is on the monitor for 17 minute wait so I wait patiently. I am noticing that everyone else was called but me, so I ask the nurse if she can check why I have been waiting for 20 minutes now for lab work and I had an appointment. She says she doesn't see me on her computer and I pointed her to the monitor with my name for now a 10 minute wait. She looks at me nonchalantly and says "sorry honey" and walks away. This continues on for another 15 minutes where my name keeps dropping down the list. I ask again. Another nurse said just wait and I will be called. Now I see my name on the monitor as being next. A minute later it drops down again back to a 17 minute wait. I ask again, and again I am dismissed like I'm just being unreasonable. I begged the nurse to please check and explained that I have been waiting here for 30 minutes now. I go back to the kiosk to re-sign figuring that might help. She comes back out and she tells me that I just registered at 8:32 and not at 7:55 that I claim. Now she's basically calling me a liar. I've been asking 4 different nurses for the past 30 minutes and now she tells me I just got here? I told her again, I have been waiting for the past 30 minutes to be called so I decided to re- register. She goes in, then comes back calling another name. Now she tells me that my appointment is at 9:45. I told her that can't be right because I wouldn't have made it for that time. I asked since I'm already here waiting, can she take me now as a Walk-in and she says NO. She says she can't change my appointment on the computer. Are you kidding me? They have been taking in Walk-Ins. These nurses are rude, inefficient and simply don't care. By the way you cannot get anyone on the phone to even voice out a complaint.
