They stuck me four times. Now I know I'm a hard stick.(hard to get my blood) but this was unacceptable. If I allowed they would have continued to stick me. Two pheblomists tried and no luck getting my blood. I walked out disappointed I have to reschedule at a more competent office. And if you go there be ready to pay for parking. 05/16/2025 This review is for the Mineola, NY Quest facility. I have been to this location four times each year, for about ten years. Most recent visit was today. This Quest office is located across the street from the Mineola train station, one of the busiest stations in the entire LIRR system. The bulk of the early morning Quest clients are commuters, so there is usually an early morning crowd. The large number of clients at that time, many of whom are watching the clock so they can be on the train on time, puts a lot of pressure on the Quest staff. Today, I was there at 7:15AM. Despite the number of clients waiting for service, the staff were professional, courteous, and - for my "blood-letting" - totally proficient. (No pain, no bruise.) As with all of my previous times at this location, a complete five star experience. Yes, parking is terrible right outside the office (meters, and only a very few of those), but there is a very large parking garage on First Street, only a very short block and a half away. [And, most of us need that walk for exercise, anyway!!] Some times, I've had to wait, even with an appointment. But, that only means that the staff are providing all the time needed for each client. And, that means they will give me as much time as my doctor's Rx requires. We can not be in a hurry when we are involved with medical activities. Again, I give the Quest people at this location a complete five star rating. (No, I am not a Quest employee, nor am I related to any Quest employee. I'm just another client.) read more

This has to be one of the worst locations I've been to. The people are very impatient and RUDE. I got lectured for scanning my id for my child's blood work because their automated kiosk asked me to. Everything was a lecture and I nearly walked out to book an appointment elsewhere. Honestly if you are not a people person don't take a job where you have to interact with people. read more

Easy in, easy out. I brought my mom over and thanks to the low volume day, it was a quick visit for a blood test. The person performing the test, was quick, efficient with filling out forms and very engaging. While we had a later appointment, I had called earlier in the week and they suggested that we come earlier and that was a good suggestion based on the low volume of people today. My only extreme disappointment with the location was that the one handicapped spot cold not have been any further from the entrance to the building, I was extremely shocked and surprised that a medical facility would be set up that way. read more

I was in and out of this place so quickly. The woman who took my blood was absolutely wonderful. Her name was Latoya. Since the moment I walked in, she was friendly and calming. I hate getting my blood taken and she made it so pleasant, quick, and painless. I highly recommend her if you can ask for someone. And on top of it, she was running the place by herself. She was taking care of me, phone was ringing and she had people waiting in the waiting room. She was a one man band. Very impressed for my first quest experience. And Latoya did it all with a smile on her face. read more

No longer in this location. It's on north station road next to the Reco room. There is a walk in patient here since 3:30, it is now almost 5:30. There is ONE person working here. I walked in at 5:06, my appointment was 61 minutes, now 53 minutes, now back to 61 minutes. What kind of focacta system is this?!?!?!?. read more

I went for routine bloodwork at the Mineola location. I have read some complaints about parking, and you might have to park on Mineola Blvd. because there is a lot of construction closing off side streets, but it's worth it. I had made an appointment but decided to try an earlier walk-in so I coudl get some breakfast, and I was able to get in within five minutes of arrival. The scheduled procedure itself was not a big deal, although my veins are somewhat elusive. The phlebotomist was Noelia, and she is fantastic. She is very professional, and the blood was taken pretty much before I knew the stick was made. The experience overall was was pleasant, efficient and painless, about as good as having your blood taken can be. read more

the phlebotomist, Gilbert, is efficient and has a great bedside manner. I have had a lot of difficulty with having blood drawn before (can't find a vein, painful, etc). She makes the process as quickly and pain free as possible, all while talking me through my nerves. Highly recommend going to her - I wouldn't go anywhere else (trust me - I've tried). read more

only allow Gilbert to draw your blood. she is a true professional and beautiful both inside and out. MAKE SURE she is there or go elsewhere other staff member lied to me regarding general question about her experience in drawing blood causing my anxiety wridden body to tense up causing more pain than should have been. she decided to tell the truth after the test. this type of game playing behavior does not belong in the healthcare industry. I could be looking at major health issues and was traumatized by the entire experience. fyi. mgmt does not go out of their way to respond to complaints pathetic for a large company read more

Here is what I sent to the Quest HQ today about this office: I am absolutely using ur competitors in the future as well as copy & pasting this in website reviews. We we yesterday to ur Hempstead office. It was so disgusting that we turned around and went home. Today we r at ur mineola office. I was here before and ur staff were rude bitches. Again today they r all rude bitches. This is not exactly a high stress job for them. They refuse to answer any questions but rather respond rudely. After they drew my wife's blood, she was clearly finished, so my wife opened the chair rest and she actually YELLED at her to put it back down. I sorely regret using ur services and will never make such a mistake again. So, here comes an update! Since this visit was for glucose testing we had to return for another blood withdrawal. My wife was told to return at 10:40, exactly an hour after her first withdrawal. She was told to keep track of the time herself - I later asked my wife why in the world the worker was unable to do her job and track the hour herself. My wife told me that she asked the same thing to the worker; the worker responded that she might forget! Unbelievable! Where do you find such workers? Anyway, we returned to the office at 10:25 to be early. At 10:39 my wife walked inside to have her blood drawn again. When she entered, the worker was all pissy and griping about why my wife came "a minute early." She had a problem that my wife entered ONE MINUTE EARLY!!! Not exactly at 10:40. I believe in providing opportunities for people with problems - but this office is off the wall. This time my wife was no longer as understanding as she tried to be at the first incident and she put that lady in her place. But, you seriously need to find some decent people to do this job! I don't have the lady's name, but there were only two ladies working there, each worse than the other. read more
