I had been referred to Passport Health by Contagious Disease Northwell Health because Northwell…read morecould not handle 4 clients (not patients) at the same time, and could only give us 4 separate appointments. We contacted Passport Health and we were sent an email with an intake history form that could be filled out on line, thereby reducing the cost of the initial consultation by $25.00. We gave them the e-mail addresses of the involved parties, and only 1 email was sent. It required 2 additional calls to finally get all the forms- sloppy administration. We made an appointment for a Saturday at 1:30 PM. The office was located in a very nice office building in Long Island. The only problem was the building was closed, and we found out later that since there was not much business occurring on Saturdays, the security person at the front desk leaves at 12:00 PM. We had to wait for someone to exit the building in order to gain access. When we got to the office, the waiting room was a pitiful sight with just a few chairs and a few tables. This was not typical of my experience with most health providers offices I have been to. The room was decorated (if you call it that) with a few Passport Health posters, intake forms, and pens laying on the table. There were no magazines, no TV, no receptionist or reception desk, just a big old empty room - it looked very unprofessional. The rest of the office was no better. It had a "fly by night" look to it, meaning that they could clear out the entire office in a few hours if necessary. We were then brought i to the consultation room where we spoke with Rachel who was very nice. Rachel is an RN, not a Nurse Practitioner or a Physicians Assistant. There really was no need for any consultation because we filled out the forms in their entirety, and there were no further questions necessary on our part. We knew what we were there for. Rachel spoke with us about other vaccinations we should consider having in addition to the Yellow Fever vax and the anti-malarial pills. Prior to going there, we had gone on line, and the cost of the vax was supposed to be $170.00 as per Google. After the consult (if you call it that) we were told that the vax would be $395.00 per person, not $170 we saw on-line. When Rachel saw the $170 price on-line, she told us that this was Google AI quoting the price, and no prices are listed on the Passport Health website. She was not willing to honor the $170. We opted to leave due to deception and price gouging on the part of Passport Health. We did pay in full for the consultation visit for the 4 totaling $306.00. We were also told that if we wanted the anti-malarial medication, we would need to schedule a separate video consult with a Passport Health's Nurse practitioner for an additional $35/person in order to get the script. This is how we resolved the situation. We signed up with GoodRX, and received a coupon that allowed us to purchase the same $395.00 vaccine for $166.00 dollars. My family physician has provided us with the script (that Passport health did not) and will giving us the vax. My advice- stay away from Passport Health. I have been and still am a health professional with 42 years of clinical experience. They wasted my time and took $306.00 which by all rights they should not be entitled to due to their deceptive practices.

i was charged 65 dollars for a video visit that never happened! Inwas waiting for their video call…read moreand soon after got not a person but an invoice for a visit! I am awaiting a refund but not optimistic. stay away
