The doctor looked nice and spoke politely during my first visit. I went to see the doctor for my…read morelower back pain. He told me his office would submit a MRI request to my insurance company right after. However I didn't receive any further update in weeks and I call the office tens of times and left voice mail. No one picked up the call during Monday and Friday and no one responded to my voice mail. When I finally found someone picked up my call after around 6 weeks, I was told that my MRI application hasn't even been completed and submitted to the insurance company. No reason, no action and no solution was provided to me. It's very unprofessional and i decided to report this office to the regulatory office. Above is the review I wrote right after I finally got someone in the office. at 11am today. Below are what happened later today. Dr. Siller called me himself and apologized to me. I felt better at the beginning and then what happened next shocked me further he told me that he can't have a review like that. He ask me to do him a favor to delete my review. He also said I can't say he isn't professional. He then repeatedly asked me that every time when I called the office earlier, if I left voice messages. I told him that I did left voice message but only once because I think there should be someone called me back as long as they hear my voice message. However Dr. Siller kept questioning me if I left voice message every time, so I asked him if the office will only respond to patient if they leave many many voice message. Meanwhile, I told Dr. Siller that my understanding of professionalism is simple- a doctor does what he is supposed to do. If the office doesn't submit MRI request after the visit for weeks with no reason, if there is nobody picking up called during office hours everyday, If a doctor respond to patients' voice message in days, can we call that doctor professional? I told Dr. Siller that as a patient, my only request is that the office submit my application to the insurance company. So I asked Dr. Siller l if he has submitted my application. Dr. Siller answered me that he hadn't submitted yet, but he will do it today, and he would like me to do a favor for him now. He also brought up something irrelevant and try to blame me. He questioned me that I rescheduled my appointment earlier, which I followed the formal process calling the office days before the appointment. Then he repeatedly told me he is asking me to give a favor... I felt like the purpose of his call was just to shift the blame and ask me the delete my review. Everything happening here are things I have never experienced in any clinics and doctors.

Words can not describe how grateful I am in finally finding the perfect neurologist.

I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND DR. LEE. I had gone to him for 21 years, and so did my family and he…read morehis level of service has decreased exponentially over the last 5 years, to the point that both my parents and my grandparents switched to another dr. There is ALWAYS a wait at the office, even if you have an appointment, the wait is atleast 30min long. And he has the audacity to not even call his patients when they have an appointment with him to let them know that he will not be in the office. I took a day off from work to go to see him and he wasn't even there, bc he had some conference and he forgot to reschedule his patients. Not only that but his attitude towards his patients is uncaring, cold, and rude. I had high blood pressure and instead of treating it like a family doctor should, he kept trying to push me off to another doctor. And after prescribing me medicine for 3 months, he did not want to renew my medicine anymore, even after I called several times to let him know that my blood pressure medication was running out in 2 days and I could not take a day off from work to go see him. He still would not even renew the prescription for a few days till the weekend when I can go see him. I plan to sue him for malpractice bc not renewing my blood pressure medicine is risking my health and putting my life in danger. He has no bedside manners, no patience, worse than a McD service.

I've been seeing Dr. Lee for over 20 years (since he had a Manhattan office). He has had the same…read moreoffice staff it seems, since forever. I believe his office manager is Leah, and she holds what can be a hectic office together. Some may not like the walk-in, sign in system, but I prefer that. It's hit or miss depending on traffic that day, and don't see it very differently from doctors who DO have an appointment system, then make you wait 2 hours anyway. Dr. Lee is extremely patient, and will listen to you talk FOREVER (as evidenced by the long drawn out conversations I hear from many of the elderly patients he cares for). Some may find that as a negative, but I see that as a caring health practitioner. Contrast that to many other offices where 5 assistants check your vitals, then the doc comes in, looks at your chart, and is out the door within 5 mins. Dr. Lee is my "family doctor" meaning, he's my go-to, when I'm not feeling well, If it's something outside his expertise, he'll suggest a specialist, and not necessarily one associated with him (I know some docs run a referral scam). He *does* like to prescribe meds, but respects your wishes. I like that he is able to perform some tests, like blood, and urine (it's sent out to a lab), as opposed to having to see him for a referral to a lab (2 co-pays). I'm here because I misplaced his number, and googled it. Decided to give him a well-deserved review. For those who are used to the "Chinese system" of doing things (often seemingly haphazard), you wont have any problems. His office hours have changed somewhat- he's off on Tuesdays, and Thursdays (I don't know if he practices elsewhere on those days). Another upside to his office is, He has hours on Saturdays as well. I hope he doesn't retire soon.
