I had my first appointment at 4:30PM on April 30th, 2016. My boyfriend and I were on time... but…read more. we still had to wait about an hour and a half.... just to be seen (My only dismay thus far, cause I hate waiting.) . But that's kind of the norm it seems with specialist, all we can do is pray that the doctor was worth the wait. (And they did have a popular Chinese soap op. playing on the big flat screen, but for non-mandarin speaking patients - a show with subtitles might be better.) After I was finally seen.... to my pleasant surprise, Dr.Lu is a very pleasant person, with wonderful bedside manners as a doctor. He didn't just see me for 2-3 mins ...or 5 minutes and then rush me out... like some other doctor's I've been to. I was in the office for about 30minutes. He was very thorough, he even called my pharmacy to see the previous treatment I was given, since I didn't bother bring medication info. from 2 years ago (prescribed by another neurologist, that didn't work too well for me). He explained what my medication would be functioning as, and what side effects it may have.... so I knew I wasn't just popping pills cluelessly. Dr.Lu also has accent free English....so I was very happy about that too lol. (Not many Asian doctors can pull that off and still speak fluent mandarin) Overall... very pleased and I hope my future visits will remain in this light. :)

Scammed my parent to have multiple scans. Scares my parent by saying they have multiple tumors and…read morehad them do multiple scans and when the results came out clear? He apologizes says its nothing and he said he made mistakes. The worst thing is he uses scare tactic saying each tumor is worst than the next to get them to do the scans asap. Traumatizing them as they wait for the mri approval and results. If it wasn't for my parent's old age I would take this horrible excuse for a doctor to court so he won't do this to another elderly person.

Dr Su called me "bitch" on the phone I'm a pharmacist and a…read morewhile back Dr Su sent some prescriptions to the pharmacy for a patient, but none of them was covered by the insurance, they need it prior authorization. I get a call from a very angry nurse with an heavy accent asking me why the prescriptions are not covered. I try to explain to her that insurance needs doctor to call the insurance and get PA, but she keep interesting that how come none of them is covered, so I asked to talk to the doctor. Dr Su was on the line this whole time, he spoke for the first time, he said: "yes, I was listening and you are a bitch " and hung up the phone on me!!! I was speechless! I couldn't believe that a doctor called me that! I don't care where you are from,or whatever your culture is, You have no right to call a lady that name! Shame on you doctor! I wouldn't go see this doctor, or let him touch me even if my life depends on it!

If you feel like wasting time and money, go visit Dr. Su. Based on my experience, he will tell you…read morethe most common-sense things and not find the cause for your problems. I went to see this doctor and he had me do a number of expensive tests, all of them showed normal. Despite this, he still went on to say that my problem is most likely cardiac and he's not even a cardiologist! I had seen a cardiologist earlier who conducted a number of tests on me and clearly explained to me the potential trigger for my problem. But Dr. Su went as far as dissing the cardiologist conclusions!! With absolutely no evidence. This doctor could not find any problems with me and just says that "the tests only describe the time when you were tested so I still dont know if you have problems but I have no evidence that you do". What a useless doctor -- I want to see a doctor because I have a problem and want a solution or at the very least, an explanation. This guy has no clue and only says to you the same things you have told him. USELESS!!
