At that point, the pain in my upper and middle back was unbearable. I couldn't get out of bed without screaming. Every movement felt impossible. I knew I had to take action, and I believed that seeing a chiropractor was my best bet. I wanted to go to someone who would understand my situation right away -- and that's exactly what happened. From the moment I walked in, Dr. Gehnrich took me seriously. He did a full evaluation, including X-rays, a posture and balance check, and even weighed both sides of my body. I could tell he was being thorough, and it gave me confidence that I was in the right place. I decided to trust the process -- and I'm so glad I did. I wasn't wrong.

I couldn't enjoy anything. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't think. All I felt was the endless pain all over my body. I asked my friends on Facebook if they knew of any amazing acupuncturists. A few of them mentioned Dr. Zhao. So I called, made an appointment for that same week. At our first appointment I explained what had happened and how I was feeling. Dr. Zhao was very thorough and extremely knowledgeable. I was there for an hour and felt confident she would get me back to my old self again. I went back a few days later. I was feeling slightly better as these things take time. I had my second appointment and started feeling less depressed and sad and in less pain. I continued to go every week and got better and better with each visit. Dr. Zhao has a wonderful personality. She is sweet, kind and VERY caring. I look forward to and very much enjoy going to see her every week!!! My pain went from a 10 to a 0. I sleep much better. I don't feel sad and depressed from pain. I sometimes sleep weird and get a stiff neck but Dr. Zhao ALWAYS makes it better. Dr. Zhao also taught me about staying away from gluten as it inflames your muscles. She also told me about some supplements to take. I highly recommend Dr. Zhao as she is super talented, smart, knowledgeable and sweet! :) I hope you find this helpful and next time you're looking for an acupuncturist I hope you choose Dr. Zhao.
