He rather distract you from you asking him anything substantial about pain. Here have to talk to you about your life. He rather talk to you about anything else as long as it has nothing to do with pain.

Dr. Lefkowitz came on very strong in my first visit. He seemed very empathetic and his staff seemed…read more deferential. I was very excited about getting my first injection as he seemed competent. Rare. What happened to me today felt more like assault. I have been assaulted before and I feel just as disembodied. I was told I would receive local anesthesia before my procedure and I did not. During the procedure Dr. Leftkowitz had a conversation with his pre-med assistant about where he might go for the summer. During this time he did not tell me when he would start and he did not apply local anesthesia. Did not say "little pinch" nor "big pinch" At one point I actually screamed "what the hell are you doing?!" And. When he was done he actually said see you're all better! And rubbed my head like I was a child. The braggadocio! The racism! Uhhh no. I'm 46 and No one has ever rubbed or patted me on the head. No PoC would ever. Perhaps God sent me there to teach. Perhaps there is no God. But he bout to learn something. Honey this is not okay." I went over to CMS at Medicare to start that complaint and am all set to call my friends in Albany at the Office of Professional Medical Conduct Central Intake Unit. Whether I complete those reports is up to your office. See, after Dr. Frazier messed up my fusion and destroyed my life and career, I learned quite a lot about patient's rights. DO NOT SEE HIM AND IF HE HURTS YOU AFTER 4.13.2022 WE WILL ALL SUE THE BLEEP OUT OF HIM.

Quick Overview on my 2nd visit, I came 7 minutes late today (12:07 pm for a 12pm appointment) and…read moreno staff complained. At 12:28pm I saw Dr. Cong He, after my intake was done by two gentlemen prior. I was out of there by 12:55pm, and all of that included with take home printouts (in both Chinese and English) , separate instructions to coordinate care and medical imaging needed. The office was empty when I first arrived; It was completely unexpected since it was the opposite phenomenon before. I inquired if I had gotten lucky with this appointment time, or something else occured? Apparently, the patients have been verbally abusing the hard working on site staff members was getting out of hand. They tend to have a lot of elderly patients, so their family members act like they shouldn't have to wait, but most of their patients are "OLD" ... You're not the only fossil waiting to be seen or treated for your pain and discomfort. The sense of entitlement just from age ... RIDICULOUS !!! As a fellow patient, I'm in my mid 30s, here for problems of my own too; So because you're elderly, I should wait longer while in pain ?? (if we're going by that sense of entitlement.) I've worked in various medical fields, and have witnessed way too much nonsense. People come in as "patients" but behave like spoiled brats, while throwing tantrums, and somehow thinks they're "special" somehow, someway. Every medical office/ institution, alongside insurance companies, all have their own rules and regulations to abide by; therefore also requires protocols and criterias to be met. The medical staff can't perform miracles at the whimsies of individuals. And money doesn't solve everything. Disease and illnesses doesn't discriminate by any standards, biases, or nepotism. Appreciate the fact that the staff at this office is consistently thorough, understanding, and doesn't rush their patients out the office. There are plenty of places where we end up waiting over an hour to 1.5hour and then the doctor doesn't even see us for 5 minutes. Or having gone to ER and be stuck in a hospital for a minimum of 8-10 hours and not even get a pillow. Hang, Thomas, and other friendly staffs at this office are people too. They are people, that actually "do their jobs" !!! (both times, thorough, and helpful with explanations from beginning to end.) The nervous system is complicated as hell, and that's an understatement. (See picture uploaded of the nervous system connected to your spine, posted in their office.) Their jobs don't include getting screamed and yelled at, this isn't Burger King, and NO - You can't have it your way!!!

Don't waste your money and time to see this doctor. He doesn't have a medical ethic, all he knows…read moreis to take a medical exam, he doesn't help get you the pain medication. He the worst doctor I ever see. I give you zero points.

I…read morecame in for what should have been a simple evaluation and left with pain I had never experienced before that has now gone on for a year and a half. The front desk staff was consistently rude, dismissive, and condescending. Their unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and outright arrogance was insulting. Their manager lies and laughs at you trying to make a mockery out of patients. It's sick. To leave not just without help, but with new, debilitating pain, is appalling. Save yourself and don't go here.

It literally had me in tears by the time I gotten to my car. I'm writing this review with the hopes It can be a step toward making sure others don't experience the same treatment, and even prompt this facility to reassess their practices. I arrived on 10/28 at 2:42 PM for my 2:45 PM appointment to see Dr. Mann for the progressively worsening pain in my neck/ back / shoulder/ elbow & both hands . I promptly filling out the required paperwork and returning it to the receptionist, I was asked to wait. After waiting for approximately 15 min, I approached the receptionist to ask if Dr. Mann was running on time. I was assured that he was and was told to continue waiting. Ten min later, I inquired again and received the same response. At 3:17 PM, I was finally brought to an exam room, where an assistant took my blood pressure, which was noticeably high. I asked how high, she said 167 over (and I didn't hear the rest).I waited an additional 10 min. in the exam room before I returned to the receptionist area to inquire about the delay. One receptionist was kind enough to check on the doctor and informed me that he was on his way. I was taken to a different Room by the lovely male assistant. I'm guessing Dr. Mann finally received my paperwork as he had questions which he asked the male assistant to ask me. The assistant walked back and forth 2 times to deliver my responses to him. I had to ask, why did he not just come into the room and ask me these questions in person. When Dr. Mann did enter the room, there was NO apology or acknowledgment of the long wait. Instead, his demeanor was brusque and unwelcoming, which made me feel as if my time and health concerns were inconsequential. Rather than addressing my questions directly, he seemed annoyed, and when I mentioned the delay, he dismissed my concern by saying, "No one goes to a doctor and be seen at the exact appointment time." He further went on to insisted he was not late as I was taken into the exam room and seen By who! the assistant who ONYL took my blood pressure while texting on her phone. Additionally, despite my elevated blood pressure, he neither acknowledged it nor offered further guidance, which left me feeling as though my health was not being taken seriously. How could you allow a patient to leave with elevated blood pressure levels. He then said there are other patients he was seeing. Fine, not an issue. I was just asking to be communicated with. I told him he had poor bedside manners and it went even more left. He even told me I'm not making the situation any better. I asked how long will this visit take as he was 45 min late. He then insisted again he was NOT late and with an attitude stated "as long as I wanted it to" Pardon, how do you tell a patient that. This interaction ended after two minutes. He stormed out the exam room left me behind & headed directly to the front desk and stated abruptly "she can leave". As a health care professional we take an oath to do no harm. Waiting for so long without updates, feeling dismissed, and dealing with a lack of empathy can make a difficult situation so much harder. Healthcare providers should show compassion, professionalism, and respect and no one should have to leave an appointment feeling worse than when they arrived. For me it was the lack of communication and empathy from that initial receptionist and doctor. I think it's perfectly reasonable to expect both timely care and basic courtesy, and neither of these should be compromised, especially in a healthcare setting. I think we all deserve a healthcare provider who prioritizes not only our physical health but also treats you with the respect and compassion every patient deserves. I am very concerned that this experience reflects a lack of regard for patients' time and well-being. I came in with my pain at a 7 and left there with it on 10.... In
