Firstly the parking lot is a money trap for those of you who may not be able to spot the small sign , head in parking! Seems this parking for medical instances is revenue for Garden City at a cost of $15 with an administrative fee of $3.25 . If you're disabled or prefer to face outward for safety, good luck ...ticket was there within 15 minutes!!! Upon entering sits a woman who seems nice and once inside the actual test room is 2 check in computer kiosks . What if you're not savvy , no one there to help. The intake nurse phlebotomist quoted an immediate $30 dollar hold on my card when my co pay is $15. She quoted some arbitrary policy which made no sense to which I contested but just wanted to get it done. My final thought is if you want to get this done , not to frequent this particular practice which quickly became a very expensive day!!! read more

Try to drop off frozen specimen had an appt but 10 people ahead of me Lorena quest tech refused to place specimen in freezer while I waited.. very rude unprofessional calling the next person dismissive. no one at the front desk waited 10 minutes for her to come out. Less than zero. Do not go here, find another lab. They hate walk ins are extremely rude and lazy. Seriously a half hour just to process a urine sample? Walked into the office on the first floor of 320 Franklin St., Garden City, NY and the stench was offensive. The security guard was there but offered no direction nor communication. Checked in 15 minutes early for appointment via kiosk, waited half hour, lights began flickering leading to a black out. Not seen. Do not recommend. read more

Horrible experience. Went in at 11:30 am and was told by Tia no walk-ins. When asked as of when she said as of now. She was rude and repeated the statement multiple times before ignoring me. Checked in at 11:15 am for an 11:30 am appt. I got seated in the back waiting room right away. Then I waited until 11:30 for my appointment. I visited Quest today to complete my annual Wellness Screening that my company requires for a insurance premium discount. My phlebotomist was Annette and she was awesome. She made it super quick, under 10 minutes and she's so kind. I highly recommend this location. Many people hate visiting doctors nonetheless having blood drawn periodically. I'm kind of obsessed with health, so I made my appointment online and they sent me a confirmation. I came in at 8:15 and was out at 8:30. 15 minutes for blood work. This location is 2 minutes from my apartment and so simple and easy to get to. Annette took my height, weight, measurements, drew my blood effortlessly and I was out in no time. They'll send lab results through the online portal so it's a breeze. You're in good hands here people. They're great here ! read more

This location is very convenient and it opens on Saturdays (LOVE it), however, appointments seem never available for Saturdays. The facility is clean and nicely organized, check-in instructions are clear near the door. Came in at 7:15 and 15 people were already checked in. There were about 3-4 staff working, but I still waited for about 30 minutes to get to my turn. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional! The only thing I would suggest is that they allow reservations for Saturdays. read more

This place is very convenient based on my work vicinity. Appointment request is thru online, have always been seen on time and blood works normally is done in 10-15 minutes time. Last visit took only less than 10 as my record on their system stays the same all through out. Less talking and purely concentration on the tech work etiquette which I find it very efficient. Staff is polite and friendly. Highly recommend the place if you are living or working within the area. I could not urge people more strongly to go literally anywhere else than Quest Diagnostics and this location in particular. I've never been treated with more disdain and disrespect in my life than I was by the staff here. Treated me like literal human garbage and sent me away, probably because they just wanted to go home. Quest is a pathetic company. Their website is useless, they have no customer service, and they make a process that should take 5 minutes like moving mountains. Shame on you. People deserve better than this. Again, this is for the Garden City, NY location. I hope someone from corporate reads this and reprimands them for the way they treat people. read more

This place is a s*** hole. There is no receptionist so you can never talk to a person on a phone call and you're stuck in a forever loop of crap. I saw an employee take FaceTime call while talking to me and I saw the guy on the FaceTime call unbuckle his pants! This is not a joke! Quest diagnostics is the apocalyptic future today. A robot-run medical tyranny where no one can actually help you. I came in for bloodwork TWICE because the employees could not find my vein. The "office" is disgusting. It's a harshly lit, dirty room with a filthy carpet. The whole place looks like a seedy motel. Honestly a seedy motel might provide better medical care (at least the people there would be able to find a vein lol). Further adding to the office ambiance is the Quest diagnostics propaganda blaring loudly on repeat on the tv. Just loud enough to be unbearably annoying without being deafening! Do not go here for a pediatric draw. I repeat do not!! My daughter just turned one years old and apparently when they hit the 12 month mark they have to have blood drawn to do some tests. I was nervous because you know my daughters arm is very little and she's my princess but you have to do what you have to do long to short they stuck a needle in my daughters arm four different times, the sad part about it is after all that they still didn't even get any blood. the lady stuck the needle in my daughters arm and moved it from left to right left to right and her excuse for it was oh baby veins jump around it wont stay in the same place I'm like what?! I even assumed the needle might have been to big. Now I don't work in the medical field so they can tell me anything they can basically sell me salt water and I'm at the beach. I wish I knew the name of the girl honestly I would leave it here but I don't know if it has anything to do with her particularly or if it's just the fact that Quest hires inexperienced people. The point of leaving the review to basically say don't go here if you need to get blood drawn from your child, your infant, toddler!! I was so nervous that I ended up pushing back the appointment. I can't hold off anymore so I go back to the pediatrician they tell me you know it's based on who takes my insurance. They give me a list of different labs and I decided to try LabCorp. I go to LabCorp in Mineola and let them know how nervous I was because I went to quest in Garden City and explained what they did and asked if they knew what they were doing etc. etc. they assured me that they knew what they were doing so I mean it's the luck of the draw at this point. Bottom line the lady didn't change her gloves out before drawing my sons blood. I saw a blood mark on the right hand I figured she would switch them out after touching the keyboard and computer as well. Even before this virus started right before you draw you put a new set of gloves on... As I was getting my son ready to leave the Phlebotomist called in the next person and she still has yet to change her gloves so I called her out on it and let the next guy know that she still had gloves on from the guy prior to me and god knows how long they have been on... I am very satisfied with the Quest service that I have received, previously at this location. My complaints are two: 1. It is impossible to make an appointment over the phone; the final straw being when they ask you to say your name over the phone. After a while they give up and you're back with no appointment. They are too cheap to create the software that allows you to spell your name, or use your social security number, or some other typed in form of ID, which other companies do; namely those that actually are concerned about their customer's satisfaction. 2. It is almost, but not quite as difficult to make an appointment over the internet. I am sure if you could ever reach the president of Quest about this, but of course you never will, he/she would say "Our business is diagnostics, not software". read more

On line it says that they are open until 3pm M-F. So I get there a few minutes before 3pm and check in on their tablet and take a seat. A minute later a worker says that they are closed now and I have to come back either really early in the morning or make an appointment. There was just one person in the waiting room and that's all. I would give them ZERO stars if that was an option I have never experienced such an unorganized lab. Paperwork takes twice as long they are SO beyond rude Loreanna not once but 5x said GO IN ROOM 2. Couldn't be any more rude unfortunately you shouldn't work with people if you are so incredibly nasty. Not only is she nasty but her attitude is beyond. Enzo labs is in and out 5 mins or less. Quest you can be prepared to stay for 2 hours an hour in a half with an appointment or not. This will be my last time ever going to quest garden city on franklin. When people ask where the other workers are Loreanna was so rude about it how could you be so nasty to an elderly woman?
