No clue to the exact "upfront office". Ended up in the wrong office, they directed us to the office directly in front of the very first lady at the podium who told us to go to the office in the back. I think that we are in the correct office! This office sends us back to the very first lady at the podium so that we can check in with her. Then they send her down stairs, I go along to wait in that waiting area. I get down stairs and the staff began to speaking rude to me as a visitor. I stood in front of the chair to see the directions they are going. ( I didn't move) They thought it was necessary for her to tell me that the room was fur patients only. I was responding by saying I'm just watching the directions. They other staff member was present and must have got offended by my response so she kicked me out of the waiting area and told me I had to leave the area. I asked, shall I go back to the room that we started in. Her nasty response was, just find a waiting room upstairs. The improvements needed for a pleasant visit would have been for the lady at the podium to take charge and ask questions so that she can do her job and direct people to the correct area. That would have prevented us from going to 3 different places. A staff member was blowing her nose the entire time I sat in the waiting room which was really disgusting. Om our exit, the lady at the podium did tell us to press "S" for street to leave the building. So I guess that makes up for the entrance..... NO! I wise not to come here again. Not even to drop someone off. I'll just stay in my car instead of parking in the valet. By the way, he was the only person to provide exceptional customer service!

Luckily, the scheduler was able to book an appointment for today. It was about a 30-minute walk from my house to Main Street Radiology. I haven't stepped foot inside this Bayside location for eight years. My arrival time was at 11:45 a.m. to check-in. I completed the pre-registration questionnaire. I went downstairs to L1 for my annual mammogram, breast ultrasound, thyroid ultrasound, and abdomen ultrasound. Wish me luck!

They have been courteous and professional throughout this process, unlike the billing department. At first no one from the office informed me upfront that the same service--one I've self-paid for in the past at a cost more than 10 times less with other providers over three years--would cost this much. I've been a patient of Main Street Radiology for 4 years, and their service has always been excellent. However, this year's billing process has been an absolute nightmare. I have paid $1,100 and waited for their billing department to submit medical records to process the pending $800. Not only could they not locate my payment, but I also didn't receive an updated bill since August. Instead, they quietly updated the client portal without notifying me. Months later, I discovered that they moved the $800 balance to me on the portal--again, with no bill, no message, no notification. It has now been four months, and I am still waiting for a correct bill. Despite multiple promises, I haven't received a bill in the mail, any follow-up, or even a single reply to my email inquiries since December. When I spoke to their billing vendor, they blamed the holidays for the delays--a completely unprofessional and unacceptable excuse given how much time has passed. To make matters worse, they admitted during a call with my insurer that the original bill was incorrect. Yet, they still haven't provided the corrected statement they promised. Their communication has been wildly inconsistent--one day acknowledging the error, the next claiming the issue is "still pending," or even suggesting they might bill me later. This is despite the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) clearly stating that, the claim has already been paid under a different code, making their actions completely unjustifiable. No one from the actual office has reached out to resolve this issue, leaving me to deal with third-party vendors who lack the authority to take meaningful action. This lack of accountability, clear communication, and adherence to in-network contract obligations has made this an incredibly stressful and frustrating experience.

It is overcrowded and the new traffic patterns where almost every road is either one way or no turns allowed... First impression was the parking lot was for employees only? I had to circle back and look for a parking lot. 2nd impression upon walking in was the waiting room ... I had flashbacks of being in the DMV. After a short wait, we went upstairs, got the MRI without any issues.

During an incredibly stressful time, their compassion and support meant everything to me. His nurse even offered to watch my service animal so I could follow through with my surgery -- something I will never forget. I was diagnosed with a fistula and a brain aneurysm, and the entire experience has been overwhelming, but this team was with me every single step of the way. Speaking with them brings me a sense of calm and reassurance. They made me feel supported, understood, and never alone. This has been one of the hardest times of my life, and they have truly been my rock. The office is clean and well-run, communication is prompt, and the guidance they provided throughout everything was exceptional. Thank you to everyone on the team for your care, compassion, and support. It truly means more than words can express.

I try to be patient being that he's a surgeon but any wait longer than 30 minutes is unacceptable. It shows a lack of respect and consideration to the patients' needs. I shouldn't need to take a day off for an appointment, nor, should i have to wait for upwards of an hour (going on two hours today, three hours last time). If this is how a doctor wants to practice than just do surgery and leave the consults and other appointments to someone else. Am getting an aneurysm waiting, it doesn't help that there's noise and a packed waiting room, why would you put people with migraines and pain in this position? Don't understand why doctors are so inconsiderate. NY Presbyterian is a good hospital but they need to realize EVERYONES' TIME MATTERS Not just their own, we don't work there and have things to do also. Respect people's time if you want your time to be respected.
