I got my blood drawn and right after I got home I was experiencing a huge amout of pain in the arm of preference (where I got my blood drawn) and when I look to see I have LOTS OF BRUISES!!! Not once has this ever happened to me until now. I think she might of gone in to deep with the needle or just poked the wrong vein! The mature employee couldn't find my order I was familiar with her for when you are a very very hard stick you pay attention, new. I'm the butterfly. I did go over to the new but by this time she was reacting to what I thought was rejection. I had judged her work without giving her a chance. The way they schedule appointments, send you reminders, let you check in from your phone, give you a QR code, and even display initials of your name on the screen in the waiting room is superb. However, the phlebotomist who drew my blood was passive aggressive. He did not say anything offensive to my face, but I can tell that the vibe was off. I asked him two questions and both times he responded with a grunt. He then collected the payment in advance and threw the card back at me. People can have bad days, that is normal. I didn't want to hold it against him. Like he had no manners, was brusque, and he obviously wanted me to feel unwelcome and, through his communication, he wanted to implicitly express his contempt for me. Then there was another lady with a Hello Kitty hat and she and this phlebotomist were gossiping and making comments about other patients. I didn't hear anything outrageous, but this is definitely not something that should be done. She kept prancing around, in and out of the room where this gentleman was drawing my blood. But I wouldn't care. People can gossip. I just didn't like the way the phlebotomist interacted with me in such a scornful and passive aggressive way. I don't know his name. I might be wrong, but I believe it was Tyson. I saw Tyson W. on his desk. It might have been someone else. He was an African American gentleman (I'm only mentioning this to identify him). He can do his job, though, because I felt no pain when he drew my blood. The fact is-- there's two parts to the Quest lab on Nellis. The curly haired lady currently at the front desk is rude. She's been rude and nasty repeatedly. I went to Quest for a Wellness Screening, this cost me 305.00. I needed this for a form to be filled out with biometric information so my company will give me a discount on my medical insurance. I went in and provided them with the form I needed filled out. The test taker took the form and looked it over then placed it in a folder. She took blood tests and then sent me away for a urine sample. When I came back she was gone. I could not ask any questions about the form. Because there is no front desk at this facility I had to make another appointment on 12/7 to have them fill out the form. They filled out the biometric information but then would not sign or date the form. They said they could not sign it as they are not Dr's or Nurses. I asked them why they didn't tell me this when I first came in. They had no answer. So now I have a $305.00 test that I cannot use because they cannot sign the form. I have now spent over 5 hours being transferred from one number to another trying to get a refund for this useless test. DON'T USE QUEST DIAGNOSTICS IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE. They have too many departments, too many people, too many computer systems and they are pretty useless. read more

Got in and out of here very quickly as I checked myself in on the ipad. I paid my copayment and was well on my way. The young lady that helped out in the front was very pleasant, attentive, and was on that money with her customer service skills. And even acknowledged me as I entered the door! U go girl keep it up!!! However after I got in the car I noticed my bandage had more blood than usual cuz it usually stops. I pulled the bandage back and I had an enormous knot and immediate bruising on my arm. I now realized she used a needle too big!!! I have very small veins that sometimes roll and and phlebotomist knows they must use the butterfly needle on me!!! I know this why didn't the expert know this??? I almost went back up there today but changed my mind. I should have been paying attention and my health is my responsibility!!!! PERIOD NO IFS ANDS OR BUTS. Not really sure why this location gets the worse reviews. Got in line at 6:40am. They opened promptly at 7am. Had to wait in line outside till they let you in to register. Given the option to have text sent to you if you want to wait in your car or you can wait inside. I didn't have an appointment but was out by 7:16am. Paulina is very nice and professional. After using quest for years they have finally driven me to a new lab for my bloodwork. I am end stage kidney disease and am usually in monthly for bloodwork. The last few months have caused me more stress arguing with the phlebotomists over quest wanting me to leave my credit card on file. I refuse to do so! I just received my bill from February and do not feel comfortable with having my credit card number in their system! Not to mention they've lost specimens I've given them! I was advised that if I didn't leave my credit card with them I will be refused service. Then what will I do! Well, I went to labcorp and it was faster and peaceful. They didn't go through my vein and I have almost no bruising. I even filled out a survey with quest, twice, and quest couldn't be bothered to get hold of me. Ive been diagnosed with a blood disorder called "polycythimia vera". It is very difficult to find a flowing vein to withdraw blood. I am fully aware that it takes a skilled phlebotomist to properly do the procedure. I was there yesterday and the technician or phlebotomist or whatever the person claim to be obviously didn't have a clue because they screwed up didn't take enough blood and the blood was also compromised and not even able to be tested. This is very serious because of the nature of this disorder my blood that's too thick and this needed to be tested right away now I got to go back there two days later and have it redone in order for my doctor to give me the proper treatment what a joke never mind the hour-and-a-half wait.
