Everything runs smoothly and customer service is great. Tonya took care of me and was professional and kind in my short time with her. I ended up going to and urgent care because by the time I realized about their mistake all the clinics were close. The very next day I went to the UMC clinic at Shadow Lane and they would not give me the PEP because I didn't have insurance. Then I remembered AHF and went there. They tested me, gave me access to their doctor, and the doctor prescribed me the PEP right away. Save your time and come to this place right from the beginning, I highly recommend it. All my experiences at AHF have been nothing but positive ones.

There are 14 seats. Office staff socializes over the office music and calls. No one enforces the rules. So, patients are very disrespectful. This place makes me so uncomfortable. I was not sitting long before I was called by the registrar to come up and complete my check in. I completed my registration online so I only had a few signatures and gave a copy of my id and insurance card, which made for a super quick check in. I was kindly walked to the waiting area for the type of care I was scheduled for, an X-ray and an US. I did not have to wait long. The registrar and techs were all very kind, helpful, and professional. They walked and talked me through every step of my visit and made me feel very comfortable. I asked to use the restroom. There were two single user bathrooms in the lobby. The front desk receptionist showed me that they keep the keys for the bathrooms on the counter in a clear holder. The bathroom was clean. The parking lot was busy, but there were plenty of spots to park. I always go to SDMI for my imaging needs, but this was my first time at this location. Today, Steinberg calls and said they have not gotten the pre-authorization from my urologist office for this test. They claim that they do not do insurance pre-authorization for testing that required the doctors office that refers you to them to get it. I talked to my urologist office. They send it in the day. I had my appointment last month and then send it again today. However, a supervisor at Steinberg claims they never received it and they simply canceled my appointment. I have told my urologist I no longer trust Steinberg Diagnostic to do my testing. I prefer to go back to Desert radiology I have always had a good experience with him. I will never ever ever use Steinberg again nor should you.
