I've been to this location multiple times and never had an issue. I'm always in and out, unlike a lot of other places where you're stuck waiting forever. Some of these 1- and 2-star reviews are honestly wild. If the biggest complaint is that someone wasn't "friendly enough," that says more about expectations than the actual service. You're there to get your blood drawn, not for a full customer service experience. Get what you need done and keep it moving. You also have no idea if they're short-staffed or covering for call-outs and still getting the job done. A little patience and consideration would go a long way. read more

I've been to this location a couple times and I'm always amazed how organized the whole process is for lab work. I made my appointment through the App and it's super easy. Their appointments are in 15 minute intervals. The day of my appointment, about an hour before I received a text with a link to check in when I arrived. I did as soon as I parked and was about 7 minutes early. Parking was easy. As I was walking in, I received a text saying to enter the service center and have a seat, I would be called soon. The place was packed. They have kiosks to check-in but no receptionists. It was a few minutes and my name was called. My guess is there are a lot of walk-ins. The lab tech was excellent; professional and friendly. She confirmed the labs I was getting and we made small talk while she drew blood. She said some of the results would be ready as early as the next day on the App, which it was. The rest were on the App the following day. The entire visit was quick and efficient. read more

This Quest is getting 3 stars but please read it all. I did not end up getting bloodwork done here, I was on the waitlist for 3 hours and never got in. The employees working were honest about the wait time. Given I had to get bloodwork on a Sunday and this was the only one open, I had no other choice. After 3 hours I couldn't wait any longer, I was upset since the workers kept coming around to manage expectations. I would argue that the people working here all should get 5 stars. This may be more of a Vegas issue but the problem is that there aren't enough locations open to handle the amount of people who need care. The inside was clean but packed with people and there weren't enough seats. I came in at 7:45am on a Sunday and by 9am people were standing and they were letting walk ins known that they may not be able to be seen. People were mad and frustrated but I've been frustrated sitting it a waiting room not being able to speak with someone. Bravo for managing the expectation but Quest needs to help with the amount of people needing care and not being able to give it. I had to go on a specific day for hormonal testing and now have to wait another month. read more

Although there is a Quest Lab about 10 minutes from my west side home, my husband and I needed to get bloodwork done quickly, so we selected this specific location due to availability of timing that worked for us on a "next day" appointment. Come to find out, this location is like the mother ship of Quest Labs here in the Las Vegas valley. Not only is it the largest location that I have physically been in myself, it appears the actual lab itself is upstairs in this exact building as well (at other locations around town, I believe you get your bloodwork done and it actually comes to this location to be processed). On this day, my husband and I are here an hour early because we had another appointment on this side of town. As such, I had an extended opportunity to observe the flow of all that is happening at this Quest location. This is a very high volume location. Typical of blood draw locations these days, the reception/waiting room is void of an actual receptionist and everything is electronic, including your check-in. Have your ID and Insurance cards handy and know the electronic kiosk to check-in is very friendly and easy to use. But if you are walking in with some issue or challenge or question that does not fit the mold of "check-in, sit down, wait" you might have some difficulty talking to a person. The lab tech people who do pop out to call on patients with appointments always are kind and patient when someone butts in and says "I have a question....." Even if you think you need help, I would suggest start with the kiosk first if you can. This location is very efficient. After checking in, there is lots of space to sit or stand. Chairs, walls, TVs, kiosks, not a lot else. No vending machines. A giant TV will tell you how many appointments there are and where you are in the queue. Walk-Ins are welcome, but this place seems so incredibly busy, I don't think that is the way to go and might be tough. All appointments seem to run precisely on time, so don't be late. There is one restroom in the reception area for patients to use. Nana is the lab tech taking care of me when my time comes up in queue. She is efficient, friendly, fast and poked my arm with minimal discomfort. All good! So all things considered and a wait time that was on us not on them, I think this Quest is pretty good. read more

Arrived on time for my scheduled appointment and checked in through text. Went inside and after 20 minutes my name was removed off the board and they started calling more and more people after my appointment time. After 30 minutes I asked a tech if there's an issue and she said no if my name is off the board they should be calling me. But no one ever did so I left I didn't like how rude some of the workers were to other people waiting and the fact quest gave up all receptionists or managers means now the workers can remove people off the board without consequences I assume to keep their wait times and board clear for appearance sake. I went ahead and made a new appointment at a different location for an earlier time on another day. I think my experience is fairly typical for quest now that they are obvious how little they care for patients. I went to Quest Diagnostics as a walk-in and was shocked by how I was treated. When I arrived around 1:15 PM, I was the only Black person there. There were about six other people ahead of me on the standby list. I patiently waited as every single one of them was seen. When it was finally my turn, the staff told me they wouldn't see me because they were "closed," claiming they take their last standby at 1:10 PM ,just five minutes before I signed in. What makes this worse is that all the other walk-ins were helped, yet I was the only one turned away. The staff member, who said his name was "Jim," refused to assist me further. I can't help but feel this was discrimination, and no one should be treated like this. Extremely disappointed and hurt by this experience. I haven't been to this Quest Diagnostics since the remodel (you had to go in to a different set of doors before and there was no iron fence around the place before) and I really like what they did. The new waiting area is clean and bright, with a lot of seating. I remember the old one being really creepy with weird floors and it was dark. Now, to be fair, I'm not the biggest fan of automated everything. I think it's dumb to not have a human up front because in these situations people have questions they want to ask. I can't tell you how many people I saw just opening doors and trying to find someone to talk to or bombarding the person calling someone else's name out to ask a question. I do appreciate though that there are like 5 kiosks so you don't really have to wait in line to check in. We made an 1040AM appointment. I highly recommend making an appointment. The screens show you whether you are checked in and they show the standby list. That list hardly moved while we were there. We were finally taken back around 1115AM which isn't too bad in the this world of medicine. The people working here seemed fairly nice enough as well. Some of them would be funny when coming out to call names. The person who did my mom's bloodwork was excellent. Great technique and bedside manner. read more

You can find a quest office almost anywhere on the East side of town. Go to their website and you can usually find a time and location convenient for yourself. Check in and waiting is no problem, since you always have an appointment. The technician are friendly and efficient. You can usually find your results on your MyQuest app a day or two after the service. read more

Horrible. The people are great, the systems SUCK. I had scheduled an appointment online and put in all my information including my insurance information. When I got there to check in, I had to reenter everything because it said it couldn't find my appointment. Their systems get worse from there. I tried to check my results in the app when I sitting in their lobby and I kept getting error messages. I'd never gotten error messages using their app anywhere else. I WAS SITTING IN THEIR LOBBY!!! I just had to take my little brother here to get some bloodwork done. I went online and found an available appointment for the same day. I so easily scheduled it and then drove right down there. I checked in and sat down and was immediately called back. I informed the sweetest lady who was helping us that my little brother has autism and she was so sweet and patient with him. She took really good care of us. I wish I remembered her name. She definitely deserves the recognition. read more

had an appointment at 12:30, showed up early at 10a because they accept walk ins. they have replaced all check ins with self service so there was no way to update my appointment time (I made it from my computer at home). I selected "walk-in" but it defaulted to 12:30. I clicked the help button to ask someone if it could be updated. I'm 20 minutes from home. no one ever showed up.... the website says that appointments are prioritized over walk ins...but I've been sitting here for 2 hours and have helped three people use the self service machines for walk ins so far. the touch screens for self service are awful...and no one is here to help. for a while, it was only walk ins...all going in before me.... making an appointment isn't worth it. they should have something in place to let you update your time if you are early....or still prioritize appointments over walk ins... read more

Very poor and slow service for standbys on the weekend. I have to drop urine for employment which is already time sensitive. I checked in as a standby due to them not having any availability (per usual) and after sitting there at 9am they tell us no more screenings after 8am.. weekend hours need to be extended for pp who can't get there during the week. This location does accept walk-ins except when you do sign in, you have to hope that an appointment gets canceled otherwise you will not be seen. The nurse literally told me there is no guarantee I will be helped today. Just have to sit and wait. read more

WE went for a blood test at Quest on Burnham av, we had a wonderful experience, Samantha was so sweet, my husband didn't feel the needle at all, very friendly, we thank her for her generosity, her smile and her work. when we have to come here, it is because we have more or less serious problems, if these people who are for some patients the only person they see in their day is this nurse if she is not at least friendly, they should change job. Made my appointment online for 5pm, I arrived and checked in at 440pm through their tablet for check-in. It was a very easy process and it scanned my ID and insurance so that I did not have to provide it later. I was called in at 5:05pm and was out the door by 5:30pm! Service here was quick and easy, and the person assisting me was very nice and personable. I would definitely schedule here again for a drug test, blood test, etc! read more

I understand that each day is different or difficult for people to realize places like this are going to have a wait are going to go past the time you set originally that could be do to a lot of reason hell even an emergency maybe but that doesn't mean you can yell and fight with the staff. My work, which is considered "essential" and happens to involve pickup and delivery of Quest packages nearly every day, makes it very hard for me to make and keep appointments. It's almost inevitable that I would end up working late and missing them... and that's if I'm able to set one to begin with. I went to this location on my only day off hoping to get in and get my lab work done, which is way behind schedule. I walked in to see only three people in the whole place. When I tried to explain my situation, they denied me anyway for not having an appointment, even though they clearly state that walk-ins may be accepted in the case of a cancellation for someone not showing up for theirs. I had no problem waiting, considering I've been trying to get this done for nearly two weeks. But they absolutely refused. I really wish my doctor would deal with LabCorp or ANY other company besides Quest. I would highly recommend you deal with anybody else if possible. They are full of rude, nasty people who seem to take pleasure in making things difficult for others. read more

So either the older lady wearing glasses with the snarky attitude didn't want to take a payment from me or they've changed their policies. I'm amazed with this location! They have these fancy new check in machines when you walk in. You don't have to speak with anyone you go up to the machine plug in your information and you are good to go. I had an appointment for 8:40 a.m. I was called back 2 minutes after I checked in!!! Thought I give my opinion about this company. This location has always been good to me. I find it to be very clean and the phlebotomist techs to be very efficient and knowledgeable. Tip if you go with and appointment and come at least ten minutes before your appointment you will be called for your scheduled appointment time , but for the most part they are very punctual. Absolutely awful. Made an appointment for a specimen drop-off. Went in only to be told that location doesn't do there specific testing needed. The worker made an appointment for a location that does. Waited a week, went to the new appointment at 1pm, only to be told this type of testing is not done after 11am. Made ANOTHER appointment for 10am a week later. I called customer service with questions about the test. Waited and went in, THEN only to be told the sample must be collected differently then what I was told by customer service and now need to make another appointment for next week. The communication is non existent, they don't care about the clients. I will never be making an appointment for Quest again. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

Take this review as a warning if you want to do a walk-in. It's anti-walk-in. They're great & efficient if you got an appointment that you have scheduled days before. Bad if you need to do a time sensitive blood test while fasting. I scheduled an appointment for a hormone panel for a Sunday based on my cycle, however as most women with irregular period's know...it's unreliable... the first day of my bad symptoms started on Thursday instead! So I come in to do the hormone panel at 6:56am and checked in as a stand by. Mind you I'm trying to stay upright because I'm so weak but I'll tough it out. They offer to do an appointment at 10:30 am. I hesitate to take it because I don't know if I can wait that long without food with the weakness I'm feeling. The place at that hour is practically empty. In the past walk-ins took an hour or two if it were busy...so I assessed that the risk wouldn't be as bad and take my chances. Nope. Im third in line to do a walk in and after two hours I realize the standby list hasn't changed. I asked since I'm checked in (and my name is up on the screen) will I get a text alerting me of getting called? Nope. I have to wait in the room to be called. So yes that should tell you what you need to know about Quest's goals with walk-in's. They are not pushing appointments as a convenience for the client but as their main business practice. Not sending a text keeps people on edge waiting in a room with a constant flow of people rather than attempt to minimize contact with others. Where they are accommodating for everyone with an appointment....they withhold their accommodations for walk-ins patients to discourage walk-ins. Okay, you want to promote that as a business practice? That makes sense if we're all equal and able to plan days or hours ahead. I do feel it's discriminatory towards those who have health issues and have time sensitive blood work to do. I did try to plan ahead but unfortunately I was not blessed with a healthy body and cycle and my plans have fallen through. So now I'm stuck waiting here exposing myself to over a hundred people because walk-ins are the devil and don't deserve the same courtesy? Again, I don't control when my hormones decide to make me sick. I have missed being able to take this test for three months because of not getting an appointment on time. I knew I would be waiting a while for the walk-in but I would prefer to wait in my car, rather than in the waiting room. So my warning to everyone if you want to diminish exposure to others, just take the appointment that's offered even if it's many hours later. Otherwise you're trapped waiting in the waiting room being exposed to many others for hours. This is bad for me because my mother is immunocompromised and now I'll have to avoid her for a couple of days to prevent passing on something to her.
