Had a follow up appointment telemedicine visit for my daughter at 4:15pm. I have been a patient here for years, having gone thru three different providers. This last one I really liked and being female I brought my daughter here. Her first visit ended up being her last visit as this provider was leaving the practice. Had I known I wouldn't have changed my daughter's provider. Anyway, I waited for 15 minutes when Doctor didn't come on the video visit I spent 15 minutes trying to contact the office, kept going to voicemail.Very hard to get people to actually answer the phone. Got thru when they said Dr. Was with another patient and would be with me shortly. Another15 minutes, got thru just to be told to expect a phone call from the doctor even if it's after 5. 5:36pm I finally get a call that didn't last not even 1 1/2 minutes for lab results. Then, just to have him say we'll see you next year! I don't think so. The guy that answers the phone Always sounds like it bothers him to talk to people. After about 8 years of being a patient there thru closure of their office that was close to me and having to travel further, and doctors leaving the practice, I will be looking for a new provider. read more

Update: Dr Vanvan is the provider I see most often now, and I am extremely pleased with the quality of care. They really do care about you there, and they show it by really listening. I hate feeling rushed in an appointment and forgetting all the important things I need to discuss, but VanVan has a calm demeanor and makes sure Ive got ample time to talk about my issues. The male receptionist is always informative and assists me if I ask. It's great that he's been there for years because it's nice seeing a familiar face. I seen Dr. Eghterafi about 10 years or so at another location on St Rose. Years later I happen to transfer to this office and I was scheduled with him. I hadn't seen a doctor so thorough in years. I've been to numerous doctors and specialist and it's tough in Las Vegas. Most of the time you are just another number walking through the door. This office is 35 minutes from my home and I drive past multiple offices to come here. Dr. Eghterafi and the Nurse Practitioners (Ha Le & Vanvan Nguyen) who work here are absolutely amazing. They listen to you and don't assume that they know more about you than yourself. Most of the time I come in with an attitude and always leave with a smile on my face. He has many other associates within the clinic, if I needed to be seen.. I would rather be seen by anyone in the Sunset Clinic group than anywhere else. Doctor VanVan Nguyen works tandem with Doctor Eghterafi, she is a breath of fresh air. Doctor VanVan is a very caring, compassionate, understanding person. Today was a very pleasurable day... how many times do you hear that when you are talking about going to see the doctor.... However, the Sunset Clinic staff is so intune with patient needs that they encourage and take advantage of giving and getting help from all resources. Today, I attended an open house at the Bonanza location. It was sponsored by Optum healthcare insurance. It was a complete success. I was so glad that I attended. I learned a lot about the insurance through Optum, and was given many brochures, and business cards to make an appointment. I left the open house with such a great feeling. But of course, how can I give praise like this and not mention that the social experience was wonderful, the hot off the grill food was excellent, drinks a plenty... even the local radio station was in attendance playing great music to give us a touch of Cinco De Mayo spiris...this turned out to be a really fun day for me. I needed follow up care after an ER visit and was fortunate to find Dr. Eghterafi. Needless to say, I was in a distressed state, but his care, compassion, and sincere desire to understand my issue, perspective, and concerns, brought a much needed sense of relief and security after a scary experience. I started going to Sunset Clinic on Bonanza/Pecos ever since switching insurances. At first, it was for convenience because of the location. However, I was lucky enough to have Dr. Eghterafi as my primary care doctor. He has been exceptional as it pertains to my health and well-being. He expresses his concern to push you to get healthy. I hate to have to do this but I have to give a lower rating. Normally I can get a response from the office even if it isn't from the doctor directly. However, this week I have actually spoken to someone in the office on 4 days and haven't gotten a single response. Under normal circumstances I wouldn't mind and just chalk it up to them being busy. But this time I am covid-19 positive with symptoms and have specific questions about my case because I am a very high risk case with and autoimmune disease and several other comorbidities. The lack of response (again just from the office would suffice) is very disconcerting. Oh, let me say for the record that I was told that the doctor left a message for me to check the CDC website. Unfortunately the CDC doesn't have any information about my condition and my autoimmune disease so that doesn't help at all. read more

I've been coming here for a few years and had a handful of doctors for my appointments. I don't really mind having different doctors every visit, but I have to say that Dr. Eghterafi really changed that mindset. He is probably the best doctor I have had due to his personality and knowledge. Every concern I have addressed, he took the time to listen and help me. The staff there is also really nice and helpful when I have any questions. The clinic itself is taking covid measures seriously so you may have to wait outside a bit while someone comes out to take ask you covid questions and take your temps. I really like this measure taken as it shows that they care about people's health. I am a tech-savy person who likes to have online access to health records and such. Made an appointment almost FIVE weeks in advance. Explained I needed to be seen urgently, that I have a golf-ball size growth on my neck that is very pain, that my Mother died of lymphoma at 3 years older than I am now, and that no specialist will see me till I get a referral. Made the appointment and spent the nearly FIVE weeks waiting. Got a call 48 hours before saying they needed to cancel and that the next available would be SEVEN MORE WEEKS. Go somewhere else! Person on the phone just kept saying "we are changing our scheduling system, so we need to cancel" and couldn't at all tell me why changing the system meant they couldn't keep appointments. The most unprofessional Doctor I have dealt with in a long time, please avoid. read more

Updated review due to COVID. This office has done such an incredible job at ensuring they keep everyone safe during the pandemic. Namely, they ask everyone about their symptoms before allowing you in for a physical doctor consult. If you have any of the Covid symptoms they simply do a telemedicine visit which is super easy. I did a few telemedicine appointments and it was honestly the easiest thing. I was safe in my home and Dr. E was able to easily diagnose and solve the issues. When other doctors were telling me that I was fine and there was nothing wrong with me he went the extra mile and noticed that my back was curved to the side and pointed me to the right direction to a great Spine Center. He has great attention to detail and will tell you exactly what you need to do and what will probably happen if you do not do so. I came in for The first time today to get a physical/checkup and couldn't have been more pleased with my visit! For one, they made me feel extremely safe Covid-wise as I was the only one in the waiting room and they got me into an exam room relatively quickly. I was recommended to go to this clinic for a supervised weightloss program back in June 2020. When I rolled up to the clinic initially I was unimpressed by it's small, strip mall, corner lot appearance. But, trust me when I say that looks can be deceiving. The care that their staff provided me during those 3 months gave me made me feel right at home. We laughed, joked, and became familiar by face ( even with face mask on). I actually looked forward to going to doctor for once in my life. But, the person who changed me mentally and physically was Dr. Badi Eghterafi. Even after my weightloss program was over I changed him to be my primary care doctor. Why? Because he never made me feel rushed or unimportant. He gave me real advice that I could not just understand but live by. He motivated me to want to do better for my health all the way around by sharing his own experiences. Every referral I needed, every paper I needed signed, every lab I needed done him and his team made sure it done same day or within a few days. They are so well organized with their paperwork and documentation and I cant express how important that is. I never had to worry with him that it wasnt going to get done or I wasnt going to be taken seriously. Just 5 months into knowing him and I feel better than I have in all of adult life. He may be young, but trust me when I say that he is the change we need in the healthcare system ( especially Nevada) .
