Labs are my least favorite thing in the world because I am terrified of needles. However, I had to have it done, so I scheduled an appointment, and went in. Their online check in is the easiest, and the best. As on as I pulled up, I whioped out my handy-dandy cell phone, and checked in. Within five minutes I received a response to proceed to the front desk. The receptionist who greeted me was very nice, and pointed me to the room. As I waited I watched As one of the labs tech walked around complaining about a previous patient. She didn't have anyone in the room with her, so I assume she was on the phone. After about 10 minutes, that same woman with redish-orangish hair walked in and asked me my name. After getting all of my information she proceeded to prepare my arm. As I turned my head, and squeezed my husband's hand, she angrily said, "What are you doing?!" I wasn't sure what she was referring to, so I asked her what she was talking about. She said I was acting weird (?) I told her that my husband is my support system, and I always hold his hand because I don't like needles. She said, "The next time you go into a lab, let someone know you need a hand to hold." Again, I was confused by her statement because holding my husband's hand didn't require a lecture. I'm not sure what was going on with her, but she clearly was in an argumentative mood. When she was done, she told me to advise my doctor of my fear of needles. For someone who has willingly come in for labs, being treated disrespectfully is unnecessary. read more

I made an appointment for 1:05pm a couple days before the appointment I got there I checked in for a urine drug screening. I thought I would be in and out because it's a urine test and they don't even have to do any work but give me a cup. I waited for an hour for someone to attend to me. I visited this lab for the first time last week to get some blood work done. When I arrived around 7:30am, there were a couple of other people waiting already. I headed to the check-in kiosk, where I entered my information as well as scanned my insurance card. The instructions were clear on the machine and I had no issues with the procedure. I only had to wait about 10 minutes before I was called into the back office to have my blood drawn. The lab staff were friendly and directed me to open an online account if I hadn't already done so in order to get my lab results online in a few days. I was in and out of the office in less than 30 minutes. I did create an online account and received my results online in 3 days. My son and I came to this location for my sons' pre employment drug screening... As a result of my last review I was sent an email, asked to provide detailed information about my experience nothing has changed! There are two receptionist, at times they both left the front desk unattended !!! Sometimes they were on their cell phones instead of attending to patients, all of that is a part of the quality of care in my opinion. Overall, there's just no sense of urgency. Look I get it some people may not understand how important these services are.... some people may think oh I'm just dropping off a urine sample, a stool sample, and just getting my blood drawn. First attempted appointment at the Livonia Mi location on Newburgh and Seven mile. I attempted to go on my lunch break. Texted me and hour and half after my appointment time that they were ready for me. I had already gone back to work at that point. Today made an appointment first thing in the morning at the Belsay Rd location in Burton, MI thinking they couldn't possibly be behind schedule first thing, right? Wrong. Still waiting a half hour after my appointment time. Bout to bounce and go across the street to Quest. I've never waited there more than a couple minutes with it without an appointment. read more

I am really not sure if I want to tell everyone how great LabCorp at 2535 W Cheyenne #105 is, but okay I will! They are AWESOME! They are conveniently located on Cheyenne with lots of free and close parking. They recently added the LabCorp logo to the glass door; before that I had a little trouble finding the new location. The front door faces the street, if you go a little into the parking lot you will see a giant MANPOWER sign high up on the building for another business housed there. Sidewalks are wheelchair accessible but the front door is very hard to open, there's no automatic opener. I imagine if you need help coming in, a quick knock on the door will get you help from another patient or a technician. I don't see any handicapped parking but there's always been a lot of available parking every time I've been there. I've never been able to wait for an appointment online so I've only ever been a drop in. Wait times are very reasonable, lots of comfy chairs in the front area. The people working there are so friendly and highly competent. Sorry I didn't catch their names but they are very nice! For today's blood test I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. They are open M-F 7am-3pm, 8am-2pm for drug screening. read more

Apparently, drug tests are only done from 8a-2pm. I arrived at 1:57p. Registered and was called to the desk at 2:03, the unpleasant person at the front desk refused me services and stated I could go to another facility on Charleston if I needed it done today. I stated I needed it done by tomorrow by 11:30a. She then stated the same verbiage she just spoke about another facility. Office closes at 3p. So if a patient walks into your facilities for services before 2p they should not be refused. I am not a person to cut it this close in times. Unfortunately, I did not know 2p was the cut-off time. If you are going to refuse patient services with in the posted times listed on the door, then LabCorp should update the times to reflect the correct available times, or train your staff on common medical office procedures. Yes I am aware that 3 minutes before the cut off time was not convenient for the staff, but unfortunately 2p is the company policy, not the employees policy to change because they didn't feel like taking a urine sample with another hour until the office closed. read more

Honestly I was really afraid of coming to this location because of the bad reviews, but my experience was completely awesome. I had Dana as a receptionist and as a blood taker and she was so sweet, she definitely said hello and goodbye. She knew I was really nervous about blood taking and she was complimenting my nails and was so understanding that I couldn't respond while having blood drawn. I came in 15 minutes late for my appointment and they still took me immediately. I was finished within 10 minutes. Location was clean and not at all hard to find. It is hit-or-miss with the friendliness of the staff. I was disappointed because I went to one location on Friday And they never told me that on Monday their office was closing down permanently. So I had to go to another location to drop off a specimen. And more importantly you are required to check in at a kiosk And this process is not visually impaired or blind friendly. I don't know what has changed over the past few years, but I am so impressed with the staff here. They are friendly, understanding, personable, and helpful. A few years back, it was completely different. I've witnessed several staff members help out elderly people trying to figure out their lab work or the tablet check-in process. Everyone explained things well when asked, and given the high volume of patients coming in, they maintained a positive attitude. You used to walk in there and find people on their phones, not being helpful especially to the elderly who find trouble navigating the system and process and just rude. The past few times I've been there the last 2 or 3 years, it really seems to have changed. If I could give this place a zero I would. I've visited this facility four times. The first, they weren't holding drug tests. Second and third time visiting they had a paper on the door stating they're closed. It's pointless to even call bc every time I tried just to be safe they NEVER answer (even on my fourth visit) when they were open!! NO ONE WANTS TO WORK HERE. Please find some other location where there's employees that actually are happy in their field. Most incompetent workers ever! This location was OK the only thing that I didn't care for is the service was a little slow and we actually had ordered online and order that food and it came wrong so we had to basically cancel that order and went into the store which is a little inconvenient but the service was kind of slow sitting down and waiting for somebody to come over and then we explain what happened they didn't really seem to care but it was a busy night and so we kind of looked over at the food came out pretty quickly so we were happy about that but I just think the cleanliness of the store need to be a little bit better. read more

My 9month old son had to get blood work for potential allergies and Jenny went above and beyond to make it a good experience. We got there and my doctor accidentally put in "adult" blood work instead of pediatrics.. Well, Jenny allowed us to stay in the room and had to contact the doctors office to get a new order sent in. She not only assisted in this process she allowed us to stay in a room for over an hour. Most people would have sent us home and made us come back, or even sent us into the waiting room, not Jenny. I was so nervous reading my reviews because I was taking my 2 year old daughter to get her blood drawn. We got there early around 7:45, no one was there. Checked in on the iPad and waited. The process was quick and the lady at the front with the braids was so polite. What really made me love this place was when they were drawing blood from my daughter they were super enthusiastic. Excellent experience. I went online to schedule an appt. For general lab work, they only accept appointments until 3:15, and that is the time that I chose. You can go in as a 'walk-in' until later, however. I wanted to make sure that I got this done and over with right away. After I signed in at the front window...No one else was waiting in the lobby, boo yah!...she brought me right back to take my blood. I was done in and out in 5 minutes. I went in for blood work 3/11/2022. I checked in as always and all my information was there. Two insurances and address. Everything was correct. I get to the desk and I was missing one my Medicare card was not in my wallet. I was told that she could not apply it because I didn't have my card I only had one insurance. I told her every time I come in my cards are scanned in the computer so you should have them Also on check in it shows I have two insurances. She wouldn't even look. So I went home and came back with my Medicare card. She said she couldn't use it because my order had been shipped. How is that possible? I was only gone less than 30 minutes. So what is the purpose of scanning our information into the computer if its not saved? My husband goes there and they use the information on the computer. Whoever is running this location should be fired immediately. I have never seen any office operate this way. They don't answer the phone and the door is always locked. I was only able to talk to someone when they came outside for lunch. They told me I could go to another location and they didn't answer the 20 phone calls I had made all morning because they were busy. Fuck LabCorp and their employees. The lady that did my test was low key impatient and rude. I would definitely just come here to get whatever out of the way, but your visit will be mediocre at best. Before coming here I saw how they were low on star ratings and I was a bit nervous coming here not knowing what I'm going to deal with. It was kinda hard to find the building when you first get there I saw a security guard and asked him for help. When you go in there is a check in process kiosk, it was busy, a lot of people was in the waiting room and there was a line to use that kiosk. First thought was great I'm going to be here forever maybe hours! I wasn't sure if it asked you to scan your ID or not so I just typed in my info and then it asks you how you going to make a payment yourself or health provider. I was able to scan my health care card. I sat down for about 4-5 Mins the front desk lady called me and verify the reason for my visit and took the paper that was given to me from my doctor. She checked me in and said she will let me know if I have a co pay or not. I sat down waiting again then she called me to sign a paper to have a card on file to let me know that's what I am responsible for the bill if the health care doesn't cover. Then I sat back down and waited for 2-3 mins then it was my turn to go in the back. Overall I had a fast and great experience! Just have to be patient and it all depends on what people are there for. read more

The woman at the desk saw me waiting for over 40 minutes before she told me that she didn't receive the fax.
