It was getting close to my appointment time and I still hadn't gotten a call. After about 10 minutes, I just decided to go in. I went in to the waiting area. Just as I sat down, they came out and did a last call for my name. They told me that they were about to remove my slot because they thought I was a no show. I explained that I did the check in/wait in car option. They told me that it was there doing COVID and it was never removed as an option. This moreso falls on their corporate office to have the option removed. The staff was very nice and understanding. So I felt a little more at ease. The science of Ketamine Infusion makes too much sense for insurance companies to my help pay for such a thing. They would much rather pay for pain medicine. He and his staff work together as a team. It is comforting to see teamwork in one's medical care. They are also very good at what they do, and each one plays a part in your care. I have suffered from hip and thigh pain since I had a defective hip replaced with a non-defective one. I thought that the pain was caused by all the surgery. Thank goodness Dr. Varley had other impressions. He discovered that the pain was emanating from my spine and that Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA) was the solution. I had been having it performed on the other side of my spine for several years, with good results. Walking without pain is truly amazing, after suffering with it for so many years. When we got there, my wife let them know that she needed her CT Scan. The receptionist said for her to sit down and she would get it. She noticed that the receptionist was very chatty with others in the office. She had to wait 20 minutes. She asked the tech who did her scan why this was taking so long. At that point, this tech went over and got the copy on the desk of the receptionist. It had been sitting there all along. I also called to talk to a tech in the office who went up to the front desk to check on the copy. She said my wife just went out the door. We were told if you email them then all you had to do is stop by and pick it up. This wasn't the case, but there was plenty of time to be a Chatty Cathy and not look for the copy of the CT Scan.
