On May 11, 2026, I brought my wife by Physicians Imaging to pick up a copy of a CT Scan from 2 weeks ago. I followed their directions to send an email requesting this copy of her CT Scan. When we got there, my wife let them know that she needed her CT Scan. The receptionist said for her to sit down and she would get it. She noticed that the receptionist was very chatty with others in the office. She had to wait 20 minutes. She asked the tech who did her scan why this was taking so long. At that point, this tech went over and got the copy on the desk of the receptionist. It had been sitting there all along. I also called to talk to a tech in the office who went up to the front desk to check on the copy. She said my wife just went out the door. We were told if you email them then all you had to do is stop by and pick it up. This wasn't the case, but there was plenty of time to be a Chatty Cathy and not look for the copy of the CT Scan. read more

Go anywhere but here. I had an appointment scheduled at 2:55, because I had reservations at 7 o'clock that night. The first thing I did when I got into the office was pay my copay.. which is hilarious if you stay as long as I did in the waiting room. It's pretty obvious that's to give you incentive to stay. I got to the office at 2:45, and signed in and paid. The lady called me back 10 min later to fill out my medications and what not. Then I didn't hear anything for nearly an hour and 20 min later. They close at 4. I go knock on the window to make sure the MRI is running behind or if I've been overlooked. Apparently 2 hours is normal to this place. I'm telling you, find anywhere else to go in Alabama. This place is a train wreck, and I don't know how it survives. I'm recommending my personal Dr to switch imaging offices. read more

My appointment was at 4:40. I got there at 4:35. It is currently 6 o clock and still have not been called back.

Was referred for an MRI by my orthopedic doctor. After waiting 1.5 weeks for them to call and schedule, I called my doc to inquire. I was told that I should have already heard from them but they would double check to see if they received my orders. Lo and behold, they call the same day (Monday). I get an appointment for the following Friday at 8am. They call back 5 minutes later and say they are double booked, but for me to come in at 9:15 instead. I arrive that Friday at 9:10 for my appointment and they say they don't have me on the schedule. They say the can work me in and gave me paperwork to complete. When I turn in my paperwork, they say it will be 1.5 hours until they can get to me. I was unable to wait that long and asked to reschedule. I was rescheduled for 9:00 the following Monday when they said I would be able to get in/out since my paperwork was already completed. I waited approximately 10 minutes before getting called back. After getting called back I had to wait even longer (45 minutes). Once I got called for the MRI it was quick and easy. Whole process was about 1.25 hours. read more

Received excellent care in their performing a needed CTSCAN within an hour of it being ordered. The radiologist was excellent and the results were communicated same day! read more

Be prepared to wait, and then wait some more when you're tired of waiting. Be prepared for at least 3 hours here. read more

My visit started off bad due having to wait quite a bit past my appointment time. Once I was called back, the staff apologized for the delay explaining that one of their machines was down. They were attentive and got me out fairly quick without rushing. Gotta take a star for the wait, but they made up for it. read more

They apparently "run late" every day. My time is as valuable as theirs. They make it clear that they do not care.

Everyone was super nice and helpful at this office. Although my mom was not able to complete her MRI the staff was considerate and offered alternatives. read more

I had a really bad experience. I had to receive an injection of dye it was in a weird place and I started having a panic attack. I identified with the staff that I was experiencing a mild panic attack and insisted a female staff member continue on with my MRI. At some point while I was panicking about the injection a very insensitive, man-bunned, clinic director came in there and said some pretty rude things regarding my care, my panic attack, and if I would even be able to get the MRI done at their facility. This staff needs sensitivity training. I cant be the first person that panicked about the injection and I know a lot of people panic about being in the tube. Then they made it really hard for me to get my MRI to the doctor because I had decided to go with a different doctor than the one that prescribed me the MRI. I wanted a female doctor. As a young woman I do not feel heard or respected by male medical staff. This place traumatized me. Lets try and get it closed down! read more

I would suggest you tell your orthopedic to never recommend this office to have an MRI. THe first time we were sent here they didn't realize what was ordered till we got here and couldn't do the imaging that day. This time we have been waiting two solid hours and still sit in the waiting room while salesmen come and go. Finally 2 1/2 hours after the appointment we're called back. read more

I arrived early for my appointment, and ended up waiting over an hour before being called back. They then had me sit in another area and wait another 30 minutes. When I was finally able to go back for my test, which was to be an open MRI, I was placed inside the tube which feels like a coffin, which is NOT an open MRI. I told them I was there to have my shoulder and bicep scanned but he said the doctor's orders only stated the shoulder. After being in that machine for over 30 minutes, they had to redo the last test because it didnt read correctly. I was already panicked and wanted it to be over. After the test he told me that they had misread the doctors instructions and that they did order a bicep scan. But because they had other patients I could either wait until the other patients were seen or reschedule. I said reschedule because no way was I going back into that coffin. He said their first 2 patients of the day came in late which threw off their schedule. I think they should have made the first 2 patients wait until the end of the day for their test and let everyone else who did show up on time for their appointment keep their schedule. Another issue I had was that I was told to change inside the restroom but I was shocked to see that someone had eed in the toilet without flushing, and left the seat up, as well as peed in the floor. No one tried to clean it up. It was also EXTREMELY cold in the facility, several complained but they didnt adjust the A/C, they just gave us blankets when we went back for our test. I wont ever go back to this place. read more
