busy location in an older office building. there's always a constant amount of people waiting to do their labs. you check in via kiosks, which is efficient, but that also means that they get bombarded with questions each time a patient gets called. there are ample seats and a TV since you'll be waiting. the workers are nice, friendly and efficient. they are just constantly dealing with patients. there's ample free parking in the surrounding parking lot. it's fine if you're close. I'd go to another location even if it was a little further. read more

The staff are all fine. It is the people that run the place that I have a problem with. The offices look like prisons. Unkept, un-updated. Not as sole to talk to you if you call or walk in the door. Their lobby offices are run by an automated computerized box that you input your information. Bolts on the doors to the back offices. No humans. Looks like a prison. I was one minute late and the computer box canceled my appointment. I couldn't even talk to anybody you can't get through the metal doors. Forget it if you want to call no one answers. Their office in the Galleria off Newcastle is an embarrassment to themselves. Also the Bellaire office isn't much better. It's a heck of a lot better than the Newcastle. All I can say is somebody must be pocketing a lot of money off of this business because they're not investing money into the business. In addition, if you book online in the app for an appointment, you have to wait two weeks out if you go to a LabCorp website in Friday -I got in Tuesday at 8:15 AM at LabCorp in Bellaire-much better, beautiful offices, staff that comes out and actually talks to the people - night and day difference. What is the point of making an appointment if patients are still expected to wait that long? This facility is filthy and rundown. The electronic check-in process is confusing to many of the older people coming in and there is no one there to help (which creates a line). The appointment time is, near as I can tell, just a random number. They call people on a first-come / first-served basis regardless of appointment time (I had a 10 am appointment for which I was a few minutes early but had to wait for people with appointment times from noon - 3pm). On the plus side, the technician was pleasant, professional, and efficient so 5/5 for her. The problem is the company and the awful facility, not the staff. read more

Always always always make an appointment and get there 15 minutes early so you can check in. Usually I don't wait any longer than five minutes but today I waited 20 minutes past my time. Went in for a pre-employment drug screening. I had a busy day so I went in at 630 when they opened, but unfortunately didn't realize that they don't start drug testing until 10am. Donna helped me get an appointment and told me to let her know when I arrived and she would take me straight back so I wouldn't have to wait and could get back to work quickly. I ended up having a meeting canceled earlier than my scheduled time, changed my appointment easily, and was helped my Moguib (please forgive me if I spelled this incorrectly). Went to take a pre-screen employment urine test back on the 3rd of September, today is the 10th. I was told by my area recruiter for my new job when she checked my urine sample hasn't even left the lab yet. So I had to take another urine drug screen at another location two days ago for Quest diagnostics. My new employer is still waiting to get the results back so I can have an actual start date. This is unacceptable and very unprofessional in this dealing. And getting a hold of any quest diagnostics anywhere in Houston is near impossible as most of their phone numbers do not work. My recruiter had to call four different locations just to see which one would take a urine pre-screen test. How hard is it to ship a sample to a lab and analyze it ?. I was told at the first location it would be ready within 2 to 3 days. Now I haven't given a second sample 2 days ago they told me the same thing but a different location. All in all this is actually costing me time and money because I can't start the new job until the results come in. I will be speaking with an attorney this week. read more

I honestly don't understand the purpose of making an appointment if they aren't going to take you at or even within 15 mins of the appointment time. This appears to only happen at this location because I've been to other locations and there was no issue. I arrived for 3:45 appointment. Waiting room was full. 4:05 I was called to the window to collect my information and payment. I'd like to note that anyone that signed in after me was also called up to the window one by one. The staff here is by far some of the most friendliest lab techs I've ever met. I typically go on Saturdays and they are always so nice. I have a slight phobia of needles so they are quick, talk to me while they are doing it to take my mind off of it and get it done fast and pain free. Bro. I'll start by saying I've worked customer service for my entire working career, and I know how entitled, impatient, and straight up rude customers can be. I try to be overly patient, polite, and understanding in every interaction I have with someone working customer service. In attempting to do a wellness blueprint for work, I had two of the worst experiences one could imagine at quest diagnostics. Two separate locations (including this one). The absolute worst being a woman who had taken my blood pressure (which was slightly high because I was then running late for work after having to call quest in the lobby of the location to make sure my information was in the system - my tech claimed it wasn't, but I was assured by the customer service rep over the phone that it was) three times. The first blood pressure reading was slightly high, so without communicating what was happening, she attempted to take it on my other arm, but was having problems because of the table placement. She asked me to move toward her, so I shifted in my seat, at which point she yelled, NO MOVE THE CHAIR. My dude. I silently moved the chair. She then proceeded to take my blood pressure two more times, not saying anything, and then filled out a paper with all three ascending readings and asked me to sign it and if I would like to immediately see a physician. Without explaining anything. I opted out. I stayed silent for my blood draw (how could I tell her it was inappropriate for her to have yelled at me when she was about to stick a needle in my arm?) and rushed out to get to work. I still can't believe someone would yell at a patient, completely unprovoked. At 8am. Which brings me to today. Set an appointment, was very nervous about what would happen. Got called back and had the best experience ever. Erica made me feel comfortable (not asking for much, just please don't yell) and pulled from a vein that no one has ever tried before. I shook her hand and was so thankful to have this experience. I hate writing a bad review, which is the main reason I didn't share my experiences until now, but I'm so thankful for techs like Erica who are people treating people with kindness and respect. 10/10 would give her my blood again read more

Are you Kidding me! I needed four different blood works drawn from four doctors so I decided to use Quest instead of LabCorp to have my blood drawn near my home. 1. Quest will not allow you to speak with anyone to verify they have your lab orders. They simply state on their website there is no need to verify they have the orders they can call and get them if they do not. What they do not tell you is that they will ask you to come back the NEXT DAY! 2. I had to have seven vials of blood drawn and after she drew the first three my vein stopped producing so she looked for another vein. She then tells me she does not feel a vein and absolutely refuses to even try! I tell her that I had to get a sitter and a ride to get this done and I don't care what needs to be done but at least try and she refuses. How are you going to have one JOB and only one and you are not even willing to TRY to draw the blood? Keep in mind I get stuck a lot and I don't even move, flinch nothing and I tell her repeatedly or beg her to just try but no she refuses to even try and then says maybe try another quest but hits 5:30 and they are all closed! I could understand if she had made multiple attempts but she had made one and it worked just not enough blood. I will never ever go back to a QUEST. Do not bother making an appointment because you will still wait about 40 to 45 minutes until seen and that is after you repeatedly ask staff members as to why people that arrived after you without an appointment have been seen before you. I walked into Quest yesterday afternoon, logged in, and was seen by Natasha about two minutes later. She couldn't have been more professional, and this morning's email notified me that my lab results were ready for viewing. Except for labs taken in a doctor's office, this was the fastest and easiest ever, but unlike results from the doctor's office, I was able to download and save the report for comparison and future reference, a huge benefit if one suffers serious health issues or moves away and needs to change doctors. If I could leave less than one star, I would. The employees told me to use one of the three bathrooms to wash my hands. I went to use one, then an employee literally yelled at me while I was washing my hands with my one year old and said I couldn't use that bathroom. He pointed to a sign that said "UDS use only" (as if that's a common acronym) and started to pull my baby in the stroller out of the bathroom as I'm rinsing my hands.
