Standby (no appointment)

Accessibility: wheelchair accessible parking fairly close to the entrance, and an elevator inside to get to other floors. Once inside Quest (3rd floor), there is a tablet/iPad to check in on, but there is a tv screen that will cycle through different instructions, including one that tells you how to check in if you are visually impaired (Swipe 3 fingers across the tablet screen in any direction). Experience: I came in as a walk in, and the check in process was pretty easy with a tablet they have set up. I had to wait about 35 minutes on a Tuesday afternoon. It will help for the check in process to bring a Driver's License and your insurance card. My blood draw was fast and alright! Thanks, Quest! I like the location of this place.

Inside the room. Clean and cute

Great experience from start to finish. I made my appointment online today at 11:04am for 11:30am. I arrived at 11:22am and was brought inside for lab work quickly. When you check in (either on your phone or at the check in screen) your name is listed on the TV along with your appointment time and the current time (mentioning this as the person above states there's no "clock"). Everything was clean in the lobby and inside the room. Isabel, my phlebotomist, was excellent and handled getting my blood work completed in a timely manner. She was super sweet as well. I noticed a lot of the negative reviews are from those who didn't make an appointment. Making one online is very easy and I highly suggest it. You can even make it same day as I did.

I had several tests done here by Lizbeth, and she did a great job, even though my veins can be very difficult.

If you have an appointment for something quick what's the wait time? Also your phone # "press 6 to speak to someone" doesn't work. Probably should fix that

I have made an appointment on Monday the 13th at 2;40 pm at my Doctors request for a H-Pilorite Breath Test? I do take Prilosac twice daily. What must I do to prepare for the procedure on Monday? My name is Frederick Lara, 858-736-7899

As a cancer patient, I have had a LOT of lab tests, and this is where I get my blood drawn most of the time.

Email Sent to Jennifer Moreno VA Advocate I relocated back…read moreto Escondido after being away from here for over three years. All the while, I was using different VA facilities for medical issues. I last used the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System in Las Vegas. Having been under the VA system there and here in La Jolla / Escondido clinic (2019-2023) I went to the Escondido clinic to register and seek medical care. The receptionist stated that I would have to conduct an initial application for service again, presenting my DD214 and such. I stated, I was 'in the system' and relocated from the VA in Las Vegas. I presented my current and valid VA Medical Benefits ID card and Retired Military ID card. She dismissed it all and said I needed to 'reapply'. I have never experienced this outright rejection and process before in any VA medical facility before except at this same clinic back in early 2019 when I tried to 'register' there at the Escondido clinic. Then after that rejection there in 2019, I drove to the Jennifer Moreno VA and simply registered by presenting my VA Medical ID card and my military retired card. Is this registration process correct or is something amiss at the Escondido clinic? Is this clinic an exception or the rule? Are our veterans seeking medical care routinely rejected and treated in this manner at all small clinics or only those not following VA registration procedures. Further, given the political atmosphere and attitude infecting our nation, I would hope that it is not racially motivated. Demographically, Escondido has a large Hispanic population. If my registration experience was an exception, I think my experience at this clinic warrants an oversight to the admissions procedures at this clinic. At no point did that receptionist in the Escondido ask or show any interest in my medical issue other than pointedly rejecting my registration. That was disturbing to me. Thank you for your patience and help you may provide in looking into this matter that may be affecting our veterans in an unnecessary and undeserving manner. Graybill Medical Group

Graybill Medical Group

(160 reviews)

My experience with Graybill keeps getting worse…read more More than a week ago, I tried to schedule an appointment with my regular primary care physician, whom I've seen for nearly eight years. I was told he had no appointments available until June, so I was scheduled with a PA I had never seen before. On the day of the appointment, I arrived five minutes late because of traffic. The receptionist was immediately rude and said, "You're late." I apologized and explained that I was stuck in traffic. She replied, "Well, they're very strict," and told me to sit down. Two minutes later, she told me the provider wanted to reschedule. I declined and said I would be filing a grievance instead. After I left, someone else from Graybill called me. She was also rude and unapologetic. While I was speaking with her, I had Sharp Health Plan on the other line and merged the calls. When the grievance manager asked whether the office has a grace period for late patients and whether patients are told about each doctor's preferences in advance, she said that policies vary by doctor: some will not see a patient if they are one minute late, some will see a patient if they are 15 minutes late, and some will even see a patient if they are two hours late. She then claimed that patients are always told these policies and are also told to arrive 15 minutes early. That was not true in my case. I never received any reminder or notice telling me I needed to arrive 15 minutes early. I still need medical care and am now left trying to figure out whether I need to find a new primary care provider. What makes this even more frustrating is that Pamela responded to my previous review and told me to call, but she gave me the wrong number. I later got the correct number from my primary care physician's office manager, called it, left voicemails, and never received a return call. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone looking for a new medical group to think twice before choosing Graybill. They strive to provide the worst in patient care quality.
