Today I had to go to a LabCorp to have my blood drawn and I chose the one at 1955 Citracado Parkway in Escondido!!

LabCorp USED to be a place you could walk in to get your lab work done when your doctor has already sent over your lab order. No longer. LabCorp USED to be a place where you could call and ACTUALLY SPEAK WITH SOMEONE. No longer. When you press option 3 to schedule an appt, INSTEAD of speaking with a live person to make an appt, you get yet ANOTHER recording on HOW TO SET AN APPT ONLINE. Well guess what! Not EVERYONE even HAS a computer, much less Internet service to use it with. I'm a senior citizen with multiple health issues, including stage 4 metastatic ovarian cancer who spent 3 weeks of September in the hospital out of state, and my PCP needed these lab tests in follow-up. I've called and left messages to call me back for an appt THREE TIMES and have yet to receive a call back, and my follow-up with my doctor is in less than a week! If you've got good insurance, or the cash in hand, DON'T USE LABCORP. Go with Quest, which still allows walk-ins and has people that actually answer their phones, or some other smaller, independent, more personal lab. You'll be better off. If I could give their "customer service center" zero stars, I would.

Asked how long the wait would be would stated 30 minutes, I waited for an hour and 20 and I still didn't even get my labs done. There were people there that had been there for almost 2 hours and had it been called back. Would definitely recommend making an appointment to this location or don't go at all

I was wondering at first and thinking how small is this area for parking to be a big of a problem. We came an hour early just to scout the place. They were not kidding. It's a big structure with lots of parking space but also full parking lot. Just like where I work.. it took us 20 minutes to find a parking space and was lucky to have it near the building where my appointment is. Reception wise, same as other Kaiser Permanente clinic or hospital I went to. In about less than 10 minutes, they called for my name and there's Ms Anna Lee and Mr Andrew receiving me warmly by the door. They brought me to my space and let me change into patient gown and Ms Anna Lee walked me through the procedure, Mr Andrew started my IV and I am very appreciative of him granting my request without questions. From there I already felt at ease and most of the questions in my head regarding the procedure were already explained. Few minutes passed and Mr Jonathan came in greeted me and introduced himself and took me to the procedure/sedation room. He also walked me through the things that will be done in that room. Mr. Cesar and Ms Kara were there as part of the team. Moments later, Dr Masters came in and explained to me what will transpire and ask me if I have questions. Procedure was done and all went well. I really appreciate being assigned to this team. They have exceeded my expectations. I was at ease and I have no doubts or questions during my visit. This is the quality of service I would like to have and also what I try to give to our patients as a healthcare personnel. Thank you so much to the whole team. Keep up the good work. :)

I had never been to this facility before, it seemed new and very clean. The staff were super friendly. As the driver of the patient (my friend), I had to fill out a form so they could keep me informed on the progress. She was taken in in a timely manner and I started getting text updates almost instantly. The waiting room was bright and comfortable. When she was done, one of the nurses came out and showed me where to park in 30 mins to pick her up. I got my car from the street and received another text she was on her way. They brought her in a wheelchair and loaded her into my car. It was quick easy and super efficient. I'll be doing it again next month. I sure hope the parking situation is better then.

I've been going to TrueCare San Marcos since February and as of May 2026, I am quite pleased with…read morethe care I've received so far during my first pregnancy! Communication has been quite easy between me and my care team (care coordinator, midwives, nutritionist, counselor, etc). They have informed me of many programs or services that are available to me during and after pregnancy, such as education classes (breastfeeding, birth, etc), and even recommended WIC. I've never had a negative experience with the receptionists at the front desk. In fact, they were helpful when one of my providers was an hour late for a phone call appointment. Waiting times can vary at every visit; sometimes I'm seen quickly, while other times I'm waiting for a while in the waiting room or the examination room. However, it's important to note there's many patients being seen and care for at the same time. But most of the time, I'm seen in a quick and orderly manner.

My original appointment was cancelled just 2 hours before the scheduled time because the doctor called in sick, and had to be rescheduled later in the week. During the rescheduled visit, Jose Ramirez called me about 20 minutes late. From the start of the call, I was repeatedly interrupted while trying to explain my symptoms. He acknowledged and apologized once, but the interruptions continued, making it difficult to communicate clearly or feel heard. I had already been evaluated by a physical therapist who recommended an MRI. After hearing my situation, Jose Ramirez agreed that an MRI would be a logical next step, but still refused to place the referral, stating it was "premature" and needed to be "documented through the hospital." He instead recommended anti-inflammatories and an X-ray. I asked directly whether an X-ray would show discs or nerve involvement, and he responded, "Absolutely not." After 3 weeks of significant pain and functional limitation, this felt like an unnecessary delay in care and a lack of clear clinical direction. The appointment felt rushed, difficult to navigate, and did not lead to any actionable next steps or resolution. Jose Ramirez was articulate and well polished like a good actor, but ultimately unprofessional and terribly unhelpful. At no point did I feel like my situation was being taken seriously or that I was receiving medical "care." Overall, this was a very, very frustrating and disappointing experience. I requested a different provider to move forward with and am actively looking to switch providers, entirely.
