Very busy location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When you go in, check in in the tablet at the front desk and have a seat. They'll call you up and take hold your ID and ask for your reference number. Clean waiting room. They have drinking fountains. Lots of parking in the back. They do routine drug screens, lab draws, TB screenings. I suggest making an appointment in advance since each patient takes "approximately 4-7 minutes each" and if it is busy, you could be waiting a while. The staff keeps you well informed. read more

My doctor had ordered one specific test that didn't require fasting, they took blood sample for previous lab test again that required fasting and it's not professional at all considering that you have to make an effort to go and wait a long time for your turn and they screw up! read more

I have gone to LabCorp on Citracado Parkway for years. Now the office is closed for construction work, and I went to the old office located in the Graybill Medical Group office on Second Avenue and Kalmia. I have been a patient there for thirty years and have never had a problem. Today, after seeing that the office I live five minutes away from is closed, I went to Graybill and walked into a smelly hellhole. The LabCorp office smelled like dead bodies the minute I stepped through the door. I almost gagged. The lady with gray hair pinned up and black glasses was rude and barking orders. The place was filled and after I checked in, I was told that I'd have to wait three hours. I agreed to come back at noon but then realized as a diabetic, I couldn't fast that long. The lady announced that everyone without a precheck had to check in. What on earth does that mean? I gave up and will go somewhere else tomorrow. I have to jump through these hoops just to get my A1C checked. Such sh*t! read more

Get a PROFESSIONAL staff. They are so damn nasty to the people. The woman who drew my blood was friendly but the rest of the staff was rude. They don't let you use the bathroom, argue with you about an appointment that they confirmed in email yet when you arrive they say they know nothing about it and won't see you. Don't return your calls. I don't care how convenient it is to go to this particular lab corp, I will never go back. read more

Went here to get blood drawn, I already hate getting my blood drawn it's a very stressful situation for me. It took them 4 pokes and 3 different people to get blood. My veins are not that bad I specifically told them which vein is the best to draw from the first person poked me and missed then took the needle OUT and put it BACK in my arm and fished around and I told her to stop fishing she got mad and had someone else draw me. At this point I started crying because ouch and the next lady came to draw me and kept saying I was so sensitive over and over again and not offering any help or distractions from my situation just making me feel worse. She also missed my vein and blew my vein out so bad I've had a bruise for over a week. The next lady was nice and was able to get my vein and did not say anything bad towards me and tried her best to distract me. I will never come to this labcorp again they need to train their phlebs better especially the one who took the needle out and put it back into my arm , once the bevel is completely out you cannot stick it back you need a new needle. read more

It's a fast and efficient process, but only make an appointment here. You might be in for a lengthy wait if you're a walk-in. The fact that this is attached to a medical center means there will be a lot of walk-ins. In fact, I was worried labcorp would delay my appointment time because of the humanity waiting for lab work. But to my surprise, they nailed the appointment time, and in under 3 minutes, I was already finished. Again, make sure you make an appointment if you can. There are a few labcorps in Escondido, but this one is attached to Greybill Medical Center. It's not the most ideal place unless you're visiting a doctor here. - located on the second floor. The elevator is very slow, so try the stairs instead. read more

If I could give 0 starts, I really would. What an unbelievably HORRIBLE experience here!!! Please, if you value and respect your time, don't come here find anywhere else to get a blood test. I came here for a routine check and I've just moved here not knowing that this floor mat was until I walked in. What a complete dump, and I'm not just referring to the staff. I had scheduled an appointment at 10:30 am and refused to take me until 12:30 but that was not the difficult part it was the way I was spoken to and the lack of professionalism in this work place. Took 99 year old Mom for routine bloodwork ordered by cardiologist. She made an appointment for 9 am. She had blood drawn at 10:35. She wanted to leave several times. I talked her out of it. She asked for a small needle and got a large one. She won't go back. And the parking is abysmal. On the positive side, the receptionist was very friendly. Not able to explain why a 9 am appointment resulted in a 1 1/2 hour wait in a very warm waiting area, but friendly. read more

This rating is for the cleanliness of the bathroom on a Monday morning. It does not appear as though there is anyone assigned to cleaning the bathroom. It was horrible, especially considering you are doing urine samples. There was no clean space to set my stuff down (book), the sink was dirty, the floor was dirty, just all around yucky. Instead of allowing people to wait in the warm waiting room, Labcorp staff is putting their own comfort ahead of the patients. We've waiting outside for over 30 minutes at 7:00 while they slowly, very slowly see patients. This is my first time here. From checking in to blood draw was 35 minutes. They are very fast and have everything streamlined. You check in on an iPad station be sure you have drivers license and health insurance card with you. Verification of my orders was completed 30 minutes later and my blood draw done 5 minutes after that. My phlebotomist Kathy was amazing, very friendly, efficient and nearly painless. Very slow service, disrespectful to patients. Laughing behind desk at people coming in. I had an appointment at 8:15 and was not seen until after 10am. When I asked the front desk the employee wouldn't make eye contact and was spoke in a very condescending tone. read more

Wait without appointment is over an hour. Family member has to make weekly visits for lab work and can only set up one appointment at a time on a less than helpful automated system. Had a great experience. A friend who often gets bloodwork recommended this location as the best in the area. I did a walk in with no appointment later in the day. They were busy but I got my blood draw rather quickly. The woman who did it was efficient and professional. Everyone was polite. The facility was clean. I got my results the next day already. I've been using this location LabCorp for about 2 years now. I was with a medical group previously that had their own labs before my insurance changed. They are GREAT here. I strongly suggest making an appointment and not just walking in if you can avoid doing so. I usually make my appointments for first thing in the morning and I've seen it with maybe one or two others in the waiting room and I've seen it with every seat filled. They keep to their appointment times quite well. I'm usually in and out fast. I have difficult to find, and small veins and have been known to be stuck multiple times in both arms before having my blood drawn. The phlebotomists here listen to you and are WONDERFUL about getting the vein on the first try. When I tell them what arm has the better luck and what area, they listen and and don't try to start with the other arm. It's amazing how much easier it is when people listen. read more

The clerk refused to pick up the phone next to her to call my dr to straighten out and made me go over there myself, wait, and get a printed out copy.
