I filled out 3 forms submitted my ID, insurance, and waited about 15 minutes (maybe less? pain changes time feel (that could have been a made up word). I walked in to have a diagnosis from a kind P.A. named Rodrick and had the help of a couple of wonderful nurses. Then, I was sent to get an X Ray at Lennox Hill Radiology. Very quick and responsive. It is already a struggle to get HRT already, and my very first appointment was easy and a breeze. However, Dr. Lezit Johnston never, ever, EVER submitted my prescription. If she did, it would be missing paperwork, missing a signature, missing additional information, she would be out of the office, not give prior authorization, etc etc etc. The excuses went on and on, and it was months of me battling my insurance and the front desk office. The front desk was very unhelpful and unkind, as well. This was something I had struggled with for months and my mental health tanked severely. My therapist even had to get involved in the process, and even then they did not budge with the prescription. For this place to be recommended as a queer friendly clinic is astounding to me. I hope that no one else goes here looking for the same services I was from the same doctor, because you will be greatly disappointed. I am incredibly hurt and disappointed by Dr. Johnston, and by the clinic as a whole.
