I came here to get doctor referred lab work done. Their air conditioner was not working well that day but the staff was very nice, which warrants the extra star. They're tech savvy and the waiting room wasn't overly crowded though the elevator was a little slow. No issues here but now I have to make sure my insurance is working how it's supposed to with respect to billing and payments. And Isabella is incredibly fucking good at her job. Absolutely atrocious place. The facility is dirty, the bathrooms are locked, and the Check-in machines are filthy. The woman working the front desk clearly had no social skills whatsoever. She had the audacity to flip through my lab orders and decide that some of the orders are "redundant", and then proceeded to text on her phone while I waited for her to finish. She acted as if I weren't even there. To top it all off, she told me my doctor "doesn't exist" and that he wasn't searchable on any system. She offered no assistance or alternatives after saying this. I grabbed my papers and left-- hopefully to find a place where they treat you like a human. The African American woman at the front is very nice without doing too much. She just simply answers questions and gives directions all while remaining cool, calm and collected. There was an older woman who takes urine samples... I'm thinking Spanish maybe? She has fair complexion and glasses. That lady is absolutely nasty and has a real bad attitude for simple little things. She calls peoples names out from inside of the room inside of coming out to the waiting area and showing face. She called my name but I didn't know where it was coming from so I didn't think she was calling me. She then comes out to the waiting area and points to me asking for my name. Very happy with this location their room is 207. Make sure you check into the computer using your phone. GG was very nice to me and took my blood with ease. She explained everything that needed to be done after blood work. I especially like that the location is close to the 7 train. The other gentleman working with GG was nice too. Everyone just seemed so nice. This will be my main place to come to take blood work. I was in and out within 15 minutes of getting there. ::BATHROOM ALERT:: VERY CLEAN. These reviews are misleading. I don't typically leave reviews, but some of these people on here left absurdly long reviews making this place sound like the place of nightmares... People are getting soft. This is a lab you walk in fill out your info at the kiosk they took my blood (Very well there was no issue - I had 5 vials taken and I genuinely didn't feel anything) and then you leave. People look for a reason to complain. The lady at the desk was friendly and the gentleman who took my blood did a good job. Make your own judgement, I had a fine experience. read more

The waiting room is like a can of sardines so people are forced to wait in the hallway. Person at the front desk is in and out, mostly out. Youre expected to check yourself in at the kiosks, if you know this is the procedure, if you don't, good luck. The kiosks have a bucket next to them with anti bacterial wipes so youre expected to clean their equipment for them. They request masks but do not provide any - "I'm running out" the front desk person carelessly says. So youre running out as in your stock low? She just sends me out to go buy one. If you require masks, you need to provide them. Don't bother making an appointment it's useless just walk in you'll be waiting exact same time. read more

Been coming here for years and the staff has always been friendly, efficient and competent. Went there on 12/9/22 and that is no longer the case. Both the male and female Asain staff members were extremely rude and seemed to be overwhelmed. When an elderly gentleman complained about something the female staff member told him that people like him was why she was in therapy. Later a woman asked a question of the male staff member and was told to sit down be quiet and wait her turn. Not a way to run a business. When I complained about the excruciating pain, she adjusted it and inserted it properly into my vein. She said that it's not her day, nor is it mine. I asked her what happened. To my surprise, she said that it's not my day since she's hurting me. And it's not her day because they are understaffed--only 2 of them are there instead of the standard 4 staff. She was extremely malicious and rude at the counter when I checked in, and she meant to be vindictive during the blood draw since I asked why only this lab couldn't accept my doctor's referral. I'm still hurting after 7 hours. Although I was not fighting with her in any way, the issue started with her when she refused to accept my doctor's referral. I've been doing blood tests every other day for fertility purposes, and I've been going to different lab corp facilities throughout Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan based on the proximity to my radiology appointments. Today was my second day at this location. She was the only agent to have an issue with my doctor's or clinic's referral each time I was here. All other labcorp locations and my radiologists had no issues accepting this referral. The first time I was here last week, she refused to accept it, but because the Asian tech was there and accepted it, she couldn't refuse it any longer. She was super rude and asked me to write my name and DOB on the physical copy. I did it, and it went well. Today, I came again, and very politely and in a friendly way, I told her that I was here last week and she helped me then (I was just trying to be diplomatic and nice). She was alone this time. She was so unwilling to accept it. She asked me to write my doctor's name and his special code number (I forgot what abbreviation she mentioned). I said, Sure, and wrote that. I casually said, Well, last time you wanted my name and DOB. She said yes, write that too, but she was still angry, rude, and very uncooperative. She threatened not to give me the service if the doctor's name didn't come up in the system. I said, OK, try your best, but FYI, I've been going to every labcorp location, and no one ever asked me for this information. It's only here that I'm asked this. My referral was accepted. Anyway, she told me to go to room #3, inside. I still tried to be friendly, and I asked if the computer couldn't bring the information, and had I known this was the problem, I'd have come with a different or customized referral. She continued to say that this paper was unacceptable, etc. While angry, she inserted the syringe in a painful place, and I almost screamed. When I told her that it's too painful, she correctly put the needle in my vein and said it's neither her best day nor mine. I asked what made her day bad. She said there were supposed to be four staff, but there are only two of them. She even used a paper plaster on my arm instead of the proper band-aid plaster. I still can't believe I had to literally deal with a crazy old woman posing as a health professional. I'm not sure if she was being racist or just doesn't like to see/provide service to beautiful younger women. But this is my horror story, and I advise everyone, especially women, to avoid this practice at any cost. Please protect yourself at any cost. read more

Yesterday I made an appointment for my husband. To have a routine blood drawn. Due to covid 19 we had to schedule on line and arrive 15 mins prior to our time. Sit in our car and then hit I am here for my appointment. The. They say wait and they will contact you when it's your turn and you go in. Very efficient and careful for the patients. Well we sat in the car for more than an hour. Never was told to come in. I tried to call the phone number, but you can't talk to anybody. It's just information given. I have to say we try not to go out during this time so we really limit it. Now I'm looking for a northwell lab to maybe get this important blood work done!!! In the past we always come here and no problems. But it's different time right now and you can't be so inefficient!! Too many people are counting on you!! I made an appointment and came here on a Thursday afternoon. It was less busy than I expected, especially during lunch hr. The location is right near the 7 train so it is easy to get to. I went into this LabCorp location today to take a pre-employment drug test. The staff was extremely rude and inattentive. My paperwork which contained my name, DOB, and social security number were left uncollected and out in the open on the counter by the desk window. I submitted my sample and was told I didn't give enough and would have to come back and submit another sample (even though my sample covered the temperature strip and reached the indicator line on the cup +45ml as required.) Like many New Yorkers I work multiple jobs, and because I wasted my morning here, I now don't have time to go back and submit a NEW sample today. Because of this I am going to lose this job opportunity as a failed drug test for no good reason at all. The whole staff is rude and incompetent - I wouldn't come here again for any reason.
