During the Coronavirus/COVID-19 issue in March 2020 I needed to go in to get my standard bloodwork drawn. Like a GOOD patient, I made an appointment far in advance so I could come in early since I was fasting for 12 hours and would be hungry. Making an appointment does a number of things: It assures that I will be seen within five minutes of my appointment, regardless of how many "walk-in" persons there are and it also lets Quest know how busy it will be so they can ensure enough staff are at hand. When I walked in this time, the waiting room was elbow-to-elbow full of people, violating social distancing regulations. I had my face mask on and I checked in with the computer as I would normally do. I noticed on the television there were a number of "walk-in patients" already registered -- this isn't a concern to me, as I made an appointment for 08:15 and it was 08:02 when I checked in. Normally, my name would rise to the #1 spot because I was ONLY person who bothered to make an appointment. This time it was different. My name stayed on the bottom of the queue at slot #10 with an 'estimated' waiting time of 104 minutes!!! I took these photos at 08:11 to prove this actually happened. As I am classified as a person vulnerable to catching COVID-19, there was no way I could allow myself to remain in a tiny room of people coughing and sneezing. When the phlebotomist came out, who appeared to be the only person working at the time, I said to them that I had an appointment and was a vulnerable patient and couldn't remain in this environment, she shrugged her shoulders and said "Just leave then". I've been treated badly at Quest labs a few times (mainly from their terrible billing people who don't seem to know to credit someone's bill when an HSA pays it), but this was the first time they were that rude! So, I left. I filed complaints with all the appropriate health agencies and Quest's main office and shall never return to this location -- perhaps never to Quest again!

My experience is that they are pretty well organized. Don't try to reach them in the phone to ask a question. You need to be in person for the smallest question. The waiting room is always packed. Make sure you use the sign in sheet to sign in as soon as you arrive!!

Extremely slow service, long line, and nobody staffing the front desk to check-in. I shouldn't need to take THREE hours off work for a blood draw.

I walked in (no appointment) and I'm so glad I came to this location…read more The office was easy to find (a doorman inside the lobby directed me to the office on the 1st floor). Upon walking in there is a self-check in kiosk that scanned my driver's license and insurance card, quickly and efficiently. There were two people in front of me (again, I walked in with NO APPOINTMENT), the young lady running the office stepped out and greeted me in a friendly, professional way and told me she'd be right with me. Within 10 minutes I was stepping back behind a curtain where the young lady drew my blood (I felt no pain from the needle and she took my blood with ease). She had all the tubes labeled. She sent me to the washroom with a cup for the urine sample with easy to follow instructions. I left the sample on my way out...the office was clean and organized and the whole process took roughly 15-20 minutes. With no appointment. I can't remember the young lady's name who was running the office but she was wonderful. My guess is LabCorp saw previous feedback and made some major changes. The self check in kiosk is wonderful and leaves the nurse available just for helping patients one at a time. Glad I came here and will come back!

The nurse or phlebotomist did not change gloves between patients. You could hear everything behind…read morethe curtain. She escorted one patient out then called the next while wearing the same gloves. She typed on the computer in her gloves and then drew blood in those same gloves. WTAF???
