I would love to give this five stars, but I can't. I really like Ana and Rafael, they made me feel safe and heard, but there was another technician who's name I didn't catch that came off extremely abrasive. When someone tells you that they have anxiety, especially when they're diagnosed, take that for what it's worth. don't continue to be a complete jerk and run around saying "I'm just being honest with you." I have issues with my neck, spine, and head from a car accident. I am extremely touch sensitive and when I have to ask multiple times for you to stop being rough, and you continue to be callous with me, I have a problem. Other than that technician, I wish that they were able to stagger the patients a little bit more so you're not waiting hours to get your wires attached and the rooms that are right on the street are really noisy and not really conducive to a "restful night sleep" which you don't really get anyway, if you're a side sleeper like me. but please, if you take anything away from this, know that Ana and Rafael will take amazing care of you. dreadful. first I was alone with a male technician and no one else. I was scared to death and could barely sleep. thankfully he was not an axe murderer. not acceptable. had to fight to get results and now a year and a half later they have sent a collection agency to me saying I owe $30! read more

The only good part of this process was the person who gave me my sleep equipment and explained the process to me. He was kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. Everything else was horrible. TL;DR - they said they took my insurance and I wouldn't have to pay put of pocket. They never gave me my results, and a year later they sent me a bill for almost $500. Full story - In January 2023, I called iSleep Metro Sleep Medicine PC to inquire about the at home sleep study and if it was fully covered by insurance. I gave them my insurance information and they told me it was completely covered and that I would not have to pay out of pocket for anything. A few days later, I get to the office, which was not clean and disorganized. The receptionist had someone on speaker phone, responded rudely to them, and then hung up on them. The receptionist and another person then began trash talking whoever was on the phone. From their conversation, it seemed like the person on the phone was a customer. As per their instructions, I did the sleep study that night and returned it the following day. They said they would send my results to my doctor's office within one week. Two weeks later, I call my doctor's office and they said they didn't receive the results. I call iSleep and they said they will fax the results to my doctor's office. One week later, my doctor's office said they didn't receive the results so I call again and request the results to be sent over. They said they would fax the results to the doctor's office. One week after that, my doctor's office said they still didn't receive the results. I call iSleep again and request that they send me the results. They stated they can only send it to me through the mail, so I give them my address and request they send my results through the mail. One week later, I call them again to request the results again since I still didn't receive the results. The number on their website is no longer valid, so the call couldn't be completed. I try to call again a few days later and the number is still not valid. I look on Yelp and other websites to find another number. I was able to find another phone number, which was valid and went through. I asked them to send me my test results. They said they had no record of my results or me taking the test. On January 16, 2024, more than one full year after this all started, I receive a bill in the mail for almost $500 dollars. To this day, I have not received the results. My doctor's office still hasn't received the results. read more

Had us come for sleep stay by 8:30pm with a rule that if we cancelled or didn't make the appointment we would be billed / charge $150, well we sat in the lobby waiting for 40 minutes for someone to open up the office so we can can signed in and get hooked up with all the wires and sensors. Now Going on 3 weeks and haven't heard from them, I called and they are still waiting for the results. I had to call them 3 time to finally receive the results. My primary doctor didn't receive them either. They kept calling me to take part 2 of the text. They want me to sleep there again to see if I can tolerate sleeping with a machine. I keep telling them that I've slept with a machine for 20 years I really think I can tolerate it. She started yelling at me and I hung up on her. read more

First, I found the personnel here to be rude. Why? Maybe they aren't treated well themselves. Second, I took the at home sleep study. Mind you, I've been sleeping with a CPAP machine for 15 years and cannot sleep without it, because I HAVE SLEEP APNEA. (No one uses a CPAP if they don't need it.) I took their at home test. For the first 3 hours, I couldn't sleep at all -- I'd start to sleep and immediately get woken up BY MY SLEEP APNEA. So after 3 hours, I gave up and read for the next 3 hours with the device on. The results of the test? I got plenty of sleep, got lots of REM, and don't have sleep apnea! What a joke. I am sorry that doctors take this nonsense seriously. If you think you have a sleeping problem, then you do. You don't need a nonsense test to tell you. Keep searching until you find a doctor who has enough sense to believe YOU and not these ridiculous tests. I dumped the doctor who ordered the test from this place. read more

Let me start with the good. The person who provides you with paperwork was very kind and sweet. He should be the one to conduct the sleep study. The technician conducting the study should be fired. I am a Christian and I wear certain attire, he assumed that I thought I was in a fiver star hotel. Then he kept saying that is why we pay him. Like, why is that important and who cares about him getting paid??? He is very rude, a brute, and very disrespectful. He kept pressing really hard on my head that the pain was felt a week after the study. I began to get headaches and felt dizzy more than usual. He should be fired. He kept telling me to take a bath and the one who stunk was him. Gross. I don't need a simple technician with a rat infested business location to tell me repeatedly to take a bath. It's unprofessional. When I asked if I could watch TV, he said, "This is not a hotel, you know, it's a sleep study. I can turn it on but it has to be silent." Why would it be silent when I am not asleep? I found him to be very insulting and rude! I'll never go back there. There is no excuse for rudeness. Disgusted. read more

I was taken at the time of my appt, set up in a room and kindly - clearly explained - hooked up to whatever monitors needed. 5 star hotel, even 3 star, no, but service was excellent and I'm confident that he was thorough in getting what my doctor needs. read more

I called the office to see if my insurance is covered. They told me to call back on the day before appointment. I did, they said I 'should' be covered (without checking). I called my insurance company to double check and then turned out it was not. I called back again wanted to find out if I misunderstood anything. The staff told me they'd check again and if I didn't get a call back meaning my insurance covered 80%. I called back 3 times and never get a final confirmation. One of the staff sounded like annoyed by my question and hung up on me. Their attitude makes me feel they don't care and don't take it seriously. read more

If you have any alternative than to deal with this place take it! This place is shady as hell. Sleep study on a Murphy bed mattress that's thin and has coils jabbing into you? Of course, they get the results they want as nobody can rest on that cheapo mattress. Not to mention the call center will hang up on you or put you on hold for 20 min "just for a sec" and then never come back to assist you. The Dr here wears more gold than most rappers and seems like he makes tons of money by holding a monopoly on this treatment in the area. Please fire the receptionist, it is 2022 and the days of rude short customer service needs to end. People seeking medical help are already vulnerable and need kindness not meanness , it takes the same amount of time to be kind. **Update: they said they faxed my results already. For some reason my surgeon office didn't receive it. Even though they received all of my other faxed documents from myself & other testes I needed faxed over. But hey, the lady on the phone was able to fax my results over again. Hopefully this will be the last time I would need to call back to get my results sent again. Original review: First of all, I took my sleep study test more than a month and a half ago and I'm still waiting for the results. My experience at the Harlem location wasn't that great. My room was facing the traffic and I heard every bus and car that went by. My sleep study test started around 11:30 PM and the guy came in the room at 5:45 AM to wake me up. I was not able to get any sleep because of all the outside noise. They rushed me in to come have the sleep study because my surgeon needed my results as soon as possible, but they are taking very very long to give him my results and I have an upcoming surgery next month. I'm not sure how long it takes to get results. I'll say, avoid this ISleep Program. Maybe others had better experience than I did, but it's a no from me. read more

I called the Bronx location to make an appt for my fiancé weeks ago left a message and didn't receive a call back. We finally obtained a referral from his pcp so we called tried again, I called 3x no answer, on the 4th try a woman answered and she was so rude. She seemed annoyed with my questions. I worked in a clinic before and I know that the first initial phone call is so important. You always want the patient to feel welcomed and comfortable. This place makes you feel anything but that. This organization really should try and hire some friendly receptionist who answer the phone and I don't know, actually do their jobs. Although the receptionists are fairly nice. It's is abslutley rediculius that I have to wait here over 2 hrs to be seen by the Doctor himself. As I write this review, I'm littelry sitting here playing musical chairs and went to meter 3 times since I have arrived. I also was informed he isn't even in the building. There are over 20 ppl here who have not been seen. just an FYI, keep your whole day cleared. Apparently this is the norm of this site. Horrible service ! read more
