Last summer, a friend recommended Precision Pain Medicine to me for low back pain. She said it helped her tremendously. I didn't immediately make an appointment, but I finally went in late Jan. 2025. I went on a Thursday and upon entering I saw a waiting area with people on top of people. Having retired after 50 years in healthcare in various settings, I knew this is not a good sign. I was seen sooner than I expected, but I suspect, it was only to input me into the system. It was a pleasant meeting and the doctor actually DID something. She gave me some trigger point injections! Relief. An MRI was ordered. Totally necessary since I hadn't one in years. In response to my question regarding the crowded waiting room, I was told Thursday is "procedure day" with patients requiring anesthesia needing someone to accompany them. I scheduled my f/u appt on a Friday. And then it began. The Friday I returned the waiting room was not crowded. I was hoping to discuss the MRI results with the doctor. I was told she was not in due to a last minute emergency. Possible, but not probable. The only medical practitioner onsite was the PA and she was overstretched. She discussed options and an epidural injection was scheduled for the next Friday, since I didn't need anesthesia. She recommended a baseline EMG, since I also have diabetic neuropathy. A sound idea, so one was scheduled for today, Thursday. When I expressed my reservations about Thursday, I was told it "was a different line". Arrived today, on time, to a room packed with people. I signed in and took a seat. After waiting an hour past my appointment time, I asked at the front desk how much longer. I was told there were 4 people ahead of me! I said I was told this was a different line. She said "it is". When I asked why I wasn't told there would be such a wait, the receptionist said "you didn't ask"!!!!!!! There are many types of business models for medical offices. Some are based on respect for patients and their time. Others are based on greed. An appointment is an agreement between the patient and the provider. There will always be instances where a patient may need more time. A medical complication or a little hand holding. But this practice only cares about generating income by overbooking time slots, at the expense of their patient's time. I canceled my EMG and my epidural injection. There are too many physicians in the area to be subjected to such treatment. Unfortunately, I never got to see if their treatment would have been beneficial. read more

~ i had bad spasms on my Neck upon waking UP this Morning ; called the Office & Natasha picked up phone & permitted me to come at 8 AM. She was in a pleasant Mood & had no Rude Attitude this time around. When i arrived i was seen right away by Dr Aranov as she was finishing a Procedure w/patient. She hit the right pressure points so i know WHY its Called Trigger Point injections. I was in alot of pain and i believe they sent me 9 pills on a Refill which i appreciated & referral to Physical therapy up to 8 weeks - dont understand why it cant be written Out for more & also set me up for PRP blood procedure ........ After i spent the Next HOUR downstairs with Physical therapy which was GREAT & Relaxing & they have New Machine for thoracic & rumboids which i tried Out with good results. i recommend BOTH floors as there was NO overbooking done ; Thanks. I came into the office in January with severe lower back pain from an employment injury. After two months of aggressive treatment; including epidurals, Dr. Khaimov agreed to complete surgery for my back injury. I am completely pain free at this time; I was pain free immediately after surgery. The office is always clean and the staff are always helpful and respectful. They don't mind that I come in early for my appointment; and the wait is usually never more than 30 minutes. Very rude front desk receptionist, soon as we walked in they were too deep in their own convo before they even attended to us and then made it seem as if we were a hassle to them when we were early. I am a receptionist myself and have never felt the need to take it as far at a place as to write a negative review. But they need to do way better if you plan on having them as the first thing you see when you walk in. read more

He is very thorough and I even had an epidural without anesthesia which I would never do. He talked me through the entire procedure and kept my mind off what was going on. Be aware, Avoid this place at ANY cost. All what they care for is just collecting money from your insurance. All receptionists are rude and unprofessional. Be aware of this scamming business, check with you insurance about the service that you actually got because they will put different codes than your actual procedure to charge your insurance extra money. On top of being unprofessional, they overbook people they give 10 people the same 10 am Appointment so they all come at once, they never care about the quality but just the quantity and how much money they are making. I had a herniated disc after a car accident.  Unfortunately therapy and injections did not work.  Dr. Khaimov did a percutaneous discectomy. Procedure was surprisingly very easy. I liked that there was no surgical incision and no general anesthesia. My sciatica pain was gone instantly. I was back to work in 3 days.  Anyone with herniated disc should consider this type of procedure instead of open surgery. Never in my life have I ever encounter a genuine honest good doctor that placed me before the money he would get from my insurance. I truly hate saying this because now his office is probably going to get fuller than ever. Dr.Khaimov and his physician assistants Ribi and Yacob prove time and again how my health is of most important value to them. There was a time that my insurance had not kicked in and he could care less. He helped me immediately and worked out the red tape with out my need to wait. I have been with this doctor for nearly five years and they have left no stone unturned in trying to help find ways to make me tolerate my pain a bit more everyday. My husband hurt his back. He was barely walking and in agony. I called and Boris saw my husband right away as an emergency. He was very very through with his exam, xrays and explanation of what was wrong with him. My husband has followed the plan of action Boris gave him and he has now been to 3 appointments more to come and slowly on his way to recovery...huge improvement thanks to the Dr!!!!! No pain meds. while the doctor is very skilled, the staff is inept. they called twice and texted once to confirm an appointment on a tues at 1040am while i questioned the time since i believed it was 140pm. they reconfirmed it was 1040am....come to find out they dont open until 11am and the doctor is in the jamaica office on tuesdays. waste of time and gas. then comes the attitude...you can go see the doctor in the other office but its out of network. while sitting in the waiting room i overheard a similar conversation about how the office is no longer accepting certain insurance and the woman who had been a long time patient had to now find another doctor or change insurance companies. read more
