It took 4 times and a lot of bruising for technician to draw a single vial of blood - truly horrible experience. Had a similar experience at another location. Would have used another lab but this one was connected to my insurance plan. read more

I reserved a 2:30 appointment and registered online beforehand with instructions to arrive 15 minutes early. I used my lunch break to ensure I arrived on time, anticipating that my appointment would be completed before my hour was up. However, despite my efforts to reserve and register in advance, it was still a waste of time. The workers take individual lunch hours, causing significant delays. Instead of closing the office during lunchtime, both employees should be present to make the process smoother for the patients. It makes no sense for one person to handle registration, blood drawing, and payments until the other returns from their lunch break. This puts unnecessary stress on one individual, and patients end up waiting for over an hour, sometimes more. My suggestion is to close the office during lunchtime and have both employees present, providing better service to the patients.. read more

Were people high when they left these reviews? There's no one working the front desk, it's just an ipad. It says they will text you when you're up, but they never do. The waiting room is tiny and packed so you have to stand there for an hour waiting for them to call your name. Ugly old building too. read more

The woman who seemed to be the lone employee checked us in and did my daughter's bloodwork quickly and cheerfully despite my daughter screaming and crying. Best experience I could've hoped for. The only bad thing is that it would've been a little tough getting in the building with a stroller if I didn't have another person to help me. read more

I was there yesterday (87th St) and was very pleased how efficient every was. Check in was fast. Joanna did the blood draw. I have very small veins and they are hard to see. Joanna found a vein right away. She as also very pleasant. I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. I used to go to the third ave place and it seemed there was always a different person there. I went to Labcorp on 177 East 87th Street in NYC to drop off specimens on March 4, 2021. I was greeted by Genesin, who took the time to show me how to register the documents on the Labcorp's system and answered all my questions professionally with a smile. After I left Labcorp, I was presently surprised to find out that Genesin went above and beyond to call the person I dropped the specimens for to clarify one of the orders to make sure it will be processed correctly. Technicians are fine but receptionists very rude and offhand

Was actually kinda nervous to enter since the building itself is kinda still being renovated and I expecting long lines with rude receptionist (from what I have heard from other reviews from other sites) But boy I was blown away. Terribly old and dirty building. I was given wrong address, as entrance is on Third Ave, not on 87th St. Only one person working there - who was quit competent, but served as both the receptionist and the phlebotomist. How can that be? read more

I had my daughter tested here and the results were never sent to the doctor. Trying to reach a real person at Labcorp to find out why they weren't sent is almost impossible. The customer service number is not available to customers. When you choose lab it would be good to know that they would do something with the results. read more

The physical location is not much, a bit dumpy actually. But the service is very good. Most importantly, the blood draw was virtually painless. And if you make an appointment you'll be in and out of there very quickly. read more

I had to have lab work drawn monthly for six months and visited this location each time. One point off for ho-hum atmosphere, but otherwise service is very prompt, professional and pleasant. I am a health care professional myself and have done thousands of blood draws, and these folks are good. Highly recommend. read more

if you actually want to get your results find a different location. I usually get results within 24-48hrs sent to my dr. Now its nearly 3weeks later and still nothing. I call at various times of the day on different days and never get a person. I left multiple messages on their answering machine - nothing. I really needed these results asap and this was the only location I was able to get to. Now I need to retake the blood test at another location since it's almost a month later and still NO RESULTS!!! Very quick, courteous service but what's the point if you never get anything out of it? May I add I terrified of needles so having to redo this is my worst nightmare. read more
