We had an appointment so it was in and out so quick. Appointment is highly recommended. Easy and quick too.. just go onto to quest website and make an appointment. Our nurse was very sweet and caring and very gentle. She helped get thru all the paperwork really quick and does the blood draw really fast.

It's impossible getting to real human over the phone to ask questions.. So I had to drive over to…read moreask, but then found out they don't have a front desk!! People use the iPads to check in. I had to wait for an employee to come out to call for the next patient so I could interrupt to ask. I then made an appointment for 2:30 pm the next day, but I didn't want to wait that long, especially while fasting. I kept the appointment just in case, but went in at 6:45 am the next morning to join the walk-ins waitlist, hoping to be seen earlier. There was already a line by this time! The bathrooms in this building was locked, even after 7am, so that was frustrating too. Then during check in, it wouldn't let me register as a walk-in since I already had a 2:30pm appointment. It took a while for an employee to come out for me to ask about this. They said they don't know how the system works and it would be at my own risk if I want to wait to see if they will call me in before my appointment time or not. I decided not to wait because my name wasn't on the walk-in list and it shows up on the appointment list still. If I were to cancel my appointment and add myself as a walk-in, it would be too late since there was already a lot of others that checked in before me by now... I ended up looking to see if there was a morning appointment available at a different location, and thankfully I found one for 10:40am same day somewhere else.

This review is for the Sutter Lab on EG Blvd. My appointment was at 2:45PM (with a 2:30PM arrival…read moretime), so I ran out of things to do other than to write this review out of annoyance I sat here for an hour. It seems there's not really a point in bothering to set an appointment (which you can do online or via phone). I finally asked them if having an appointment does anything and they said I'd be next. But I was still not the next person. Seems like it would be wise to check in with them periodically. After continuing to wait, the person came out, told me to do the test at home, and it was not blood work; it just requires DNA (a hair sample) and to read the instructions. Being pretty sure this was blood work, I went upstairs to my Doctor's office and the Nurse came down to talk to the lab staff. (Very grateful for her!) Staff have been friendly when I've been here. But they don't seem to be very organized when it comes to managing the appointment aspect of things. Some staff also appear very misinformed since they are giving patients completely inaccurate information. Giving two stars instead of one because I've had plenty of good experiences at this location with kind staff.

Every office I've encountered is well staffed, friendly, communicate well and professional. I have never had a bad experience with Sutter Health. They are the very best and have my full confidence. I've been with a few other medical providers, in the Sacramento area and can say Sutter Health is at the very top of Northern California's health providers. I feel fortunate to have my Primary Care Physician (Dr Dominguez-Jones), Cardiologist (Dr Lee and everyone in her office), Imaging and Labs all in one location...and just a few miles away. I encourage anyone in need or looking for a medical provider, please give Sutter Health your consideration.

I told her I chose this one because it's cleaner, friendly and less crowded. Well our experience today confirmed my position in choosing this location. We were helped by a young man named Miguel who was kind, caring, attentive, and patient. We did not have our typical Jack in the box drive thru experience as we usually do at our former location (Howe and Fair Oaks). Kudos to Miguel and who ever manages this location.

Unacceptable 15-Minute Notice Cancellation…read more I arrived at 7:00 AM for a scheduled 7:30 AM fasting blood draw. There was zero physical signage on the door indicating the Quest lab was closed for building maintenance. I only received a digital cancellation notice at 7:15 AM. Furthermore, this happened on a Monday morning. There is no excuse for corporate management not to notify patients over the weekend that scheduled building maintenance would close the lab. Because this building offers a 20-minute parking grace period, a simple sign on the front door would have allowed patients to immediately turn around and exit the parking lot for free. By leaving no physical notice, waiting patients were forced to exceed that 20-minute window and pay for parking at a closed facility. A last-minute cancellation like this is completely unacceptable for patients who are actively fasting or relying on strict medical transport and family schedules. Leaving patients stranded outside with no physical sign on the door is incredibly poor management.

I made this review to highlight Tae B., who was an absolute delight! I had a HORRIBLE experience at…read morethe Timberlake location where the phlebotomist literally didn't care about me. ZERO stars. She stuck me twice and couldn't get it done. Because of her incompetence, I was referred to their Scripps location where I had a completely different experience! Tae B. was kind, patient and caring. She made sure I was comfortable (I'm a hard stick and I HATE getting my labs done) and gave me all the tricks of the trade on how to make future blood draws a positive experience. She went out of her way to reassure me and she is excellent at her job. I felt a tiny pinch, but no pain. The gentleman at the desk was a hoot as well. He made jokes and it seemed like he understood that blood draws cause anxiety for some. The whole experience was easy going even though I was a bundle of nerves. I won't forget how I was made to feel at this location. I was filled to the brim with anxiety and Tae made me feel seen. She said she's been a phlebotomist for over 20 years. The online appointment process is simple & you can check-in virtually from the parking lot. One if their greatest assets is the technician who checks you in (haven't got his name). He is very friendly, kind, tries to make you smile, and super helpful. When the other technicians are busy, he also steps away to draw blood as well. He is very skilled and makes the entire process a breeze. I actually look forward to coming back whenever labs may be due again. I've been to other LabCorp locations in CA and AZ, and can affirm that this location at 1 Scripps Drive is the best. Their operations & genuine friendly care for patients should be replicated throughout the LabCorp network. Kudos LabCorp!!
