I came at least 20 minutes early and couldn't do the phone check in, so I checked in at the kiosk. It was a straightforward process of the tablet scanning my drivers license and insurance. I waited for maybe less than 5 minutes and I was called in 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment time. The phlebotomist let me know of my copay, and what labs I was getting done. She drew the labs pretty quickly. She was professional and friendly. Overall, I was in and out within 20 minutes. The waiting room is spacious and clean. Seeing as I had gotten there after some other people, and I got in pretty quickly and earlier than my appointment time, I highly recommend making an appointment! read more

I have all my blood work done here. It's not to far from the house and easy online appointments. I made an online appointment but it was later Than I wanted. I checked a day later and there was a cancellation and I was able to do my bloodwork earlier. Yes. They text you a reminder and when you are at the location you ce=heck in. Stuck on standby list because cannot get an appointment within the time needed. Dr said need bloodwork done and wants to see me Wednesday (in two days). Two hours and the standby list dropped by one. I want as far as to time how long between patients called back, many times over twelve minutes. Not sure how many work here, but seen at least three in lab attire. Being on blood thinners I am stuck at Quest locations often. This location is the slowest I have ever been to. Draws are monthly since 2007 so seen a few. Committed here, hopefully get in. In my 20's through my mid-30's, I was hyper-focused on maintaining a healthy physical appearance with little focus on my internal health. Growth and wise advice from my intelligent wife, has made me more aware of making sure that I take care of my body internally and externally (in that order). In preparation for a physical exam, I requested a complete blood count (CBC) from my physician. Since the results needed to be available to my physician prior to my physical exam, I used the scheduler on the Quest Diagnosis webpage to schedule my appointment (I scheduled an early morning appointment since it is required that you fast). Upon arriving at this location, I accessed the kiosk in the waiting room to check-in (you can also check-in via a link that is sent via text message the day of your appointment). Less than five minutes after checking in, an employee (unfortunately I did not obtain her name) warmly greeted and ushered me into one of the blood collection rooms. After confirming some information and signing paperwork, the employee began drawing my blood. I'm not a huge fan of needles, so I was very thankful that the very personable employee engaged me in conversation that distracted me from the task being performed. Although fasting and going in for blood work is never fun, I'm thankful that the employee who assisted me made it a quick (literally out of the door in five minutes) and pleasant experience! read more

Making an appointment online is a mess. I thought I had made one, but when I arrived the check-in system told me I didn't have an appointment. When an employee came out she helped me and several minutes later confirmed I had no appt registered but could be seen as a Walk-in. After 45 minutes I decided to leave. I then tried to get an appointment through their phone system. It was worse than online. The messages and prompts are broken and choppy. Took me a couple of tries when I finally figured out what they were saying and had to give my responses over the prompts. Staff was fine when you get to see them, but the waiting room has automated check in and no one to talk to until someone walks o ut to call a patient. Waiting room is not welcoming. The phlebotomists have always been kind and professional, NEVERTHELESS, the lab results take much too long! The staff always tells me it shouldn't be more than one to three days. It's now been 53 days and counting and still nothing. So I go to my doctor appointment five days in advance, expecting my lab results to be on time... And more than once they are not! Waste my time and $15 co-pay at Dr.'s office for Quest inept service. That was one thing I missed about Kaiser labs... I have proof that they have much quicker turnaround time. I don't know if they need to fire the managers that runs these labs, the technicians or need to hire more, but something is terribly wrong with their super slow service. read more

Came here to get my blood drawn. It's best to make an appointment online. The site is pretty simple to use. They can text you to remind you of your appointment. The day of the appointment, they text me with a COVID question and they texted again with a link to check in when you arrive to the clinic. Today, they let my 85 year old father sit in the waiting room for 1.5+ hours, waiting until after his appointment to call him in for a very simple lab draw. They had sooo many employees on staff, and they must have all been on break or at a potluck in the back. Very snippy when I asked about the wait. Sitting fuming in a lobby is a mandatory experience for healthcare in this area. Why does DH contract with them?!? Almost enough to make me switch to UC Davis. But not Kaiser. Lol read more

Three years later & this location still gets another 1 star, if I could give it zero I would. Three years ago I brought my 1 year old here to get her blood drawn, thinking because she's young, a lot of phlebotomist were timid & unable to find her vein. I came yesterday for a glucose test (pregnant with baby #2), at first everything was fine, the phlebotomist that checked me in & gave me my glucose drink was very friendly... Then comes to drawing the blood. Lord Jesus Mary Joseph, the first phlebotomist said she seen my vein but when she poked me (with the big ass needle) she said it suddenly disappeared. She then asked for another phlebotomist to come take my blood, the second one came with someone in training, she tried my left arm (this time with the butterfly needle) & started fishing for my vein. I was quiet the entire time & she knew what she was doing because she kept asking if I was "okay", then the person in training said she seen a vein on the side of my right arm (which had already been poked), the phlebotomist switched to the big needle & went fishing a bit until blood finally came out. The next morning (today) I have bruises on my arm. Keep in mind, I don't bruise easily. I always made excuses about this location by saying "maybe it's just infants/toddlers that they have trouble drawing blood from because of how small they are", boy was I wrong! I would not recommend anyone to get their blood drawn at this location unless they enjoy the feeling of a needle poking in & out of their skin. read more

Came here to get bloodwork done. It's best to make an appointment instead of walking in, there's a lot of people coming in and out so book ahead of time to skip the wait time. My appointment was scheduled for 12:30 PM and I came around 12:15 PM. You can check in at a kiosk or through your phone. They prioritize appointments before walk-ins, I noticed there were about 15 people on the stand-by list. There were only three other people ahead of me on the appointment list and those people were being called in relatively quick. I got called in at 12:25 PM. Very friendly employees.They direct you to one of the numbered rooms. I had a set of papers that my doctor had given me, which I handed off to the employee. Everything was speedy, you sign a consent form and they take your blood/urine -- that's it! She asked if I was feeling okay throughout the process, very hospitable. I was already back in my car at 12:33 PM. It doesn't take up much of your time unless you didn't book an appointment beforehand. I noticed a few people feeling frustrated that they weren't being called in, one person even walking out. Just make sure to book one before coming here! It'll help the overall experience. read more

I had my first experience at Quest and it was fine! I had an appointment at 8:10. They didn't see me until 8:18, no big deal. The woman awaiting was very nice. I am prone to passing out, so I asked if there was a way I could lay down. She was very accommodating and let me lay down in another room. I was out within no time. read more

Worst quest diagnostic center visited ever.They mention they will take walk-in but they don't actually look them at all. First off all they should nt have walk-in option if they do the same way Even though a guy had an appointment at 10:30 and if he moved in 10:00 AM they check them and ignore standby people. Next to me there was a deaf guy who doesnt have internet access and he mentioned i cannot take make a call due to his deafness and he walked in then they made him sit for more than 45 minutes . The office is full of people with appts, there's no one working the front desk area for check ins, taking insurance information or anything. I work in retail, so I'm familiar with appointment systems. However their appointment system doesn't have a prioritization queue based off wait time, be it personal check ins or automatic calling. an appointment that walks in 1 minute prior will make you get skipped if you have a 45+ minute wait. I was booted out at 4:57 when the closing is at 5, I get that I was considered a last minute customer however policy is policy when it comes to corporate or listing hours. Overhearing an employee tell an irate patient that they will take appointments that are set for 5 also will set bad expectations for patients that are walk ins, since by rule it isn't what is being followed. It isn't the employees that are at fault, however the management handling is poor and lacks communication and setting expectations with customers. I won't visit this location again, and won't go with quest for any lab work in the future due to this experience. read more

My husband had an appointment this Tuesday. He is an elderly. Moving slow with cane. He took time to get urine sample. The phlebotomist kept knocking on the door while he is having difficulty. She seemed having no understanding about sick elderly. Her tone of voice was rude very rude to my husband. When drawing blood, she doesn't really clean the site with alcohol. Then touch the site with dirty gloves. All staffs I saw were wearing gloves. And they keep them on all the time. Who knows what they touch and how long they are wearing same gloves. It's a crime to me because they could be dealing with sick weak persons. Dirty gloves can easily spread infection to to some. I wish if that phlebotomist at least has some correct skills to draw blood and professional manner. She didn't. And was very rude. Unbelievable. read more

New !!!! from the big horn location!!! It's about less than 5 mins away from the big horn location. It's inside the building (corner of the street). When you turn in, it's on the left side ! Just like the previous location. Got in at 10:12 and finished at like 10:30am ? About 20-25 mins tops. Very fast, efficient, and clean ( inside a brand new building , smells very new too ). The staff is friendly too :) when I came in, it was about 5 or less people ahead of me and in general the room was only filled with less than 10 people. Def. gonna be my go to! read more

I made an appointment on the phone with the automated system it repeated my information correct- My Appointment was 4:20pm I show up 30 minutes for my appointment- the system had my named missed spelled but they had my phone number right and took my driver license, I wait over 1 hour then their system knocks me off!! They used 2 doors- to call people in- but this time they only called from the one door- without checking the waiting room- or using the other door- which is where I was- there really should be a better system in place!! I have visited quest diagnostics several times for tests and samples. However, every single time I go there I never find an organized system or coordination between the people that work there. The people that work the front desk often don't care about patients time at all. I took my father last week for his blood test and to get containers for some samples. The first thing as soon as you enter you need to sign in. When signing my father in, we got confused since there was an option to choose pick-up or blood test. So we signed in as both. We got called in after 30 minutes of waiting. After we got called in, the lady took the paper from us given by our physician and said "oh it's just a pick-up and next time don't wait and just sign in as a pick up." I told her that the doctor also requested blood test and she said no it's just a pick up for the container. Well, we thought since she works there she knows the best and we took an envelope and left. This Friday after my dad's appointment on Friday, the doctor told us that he didn't get blood test or the RIGHT CONTAINER for the samples. We told the doctor what happened at the quest diagnostic and she was really disappointed with them. She asked my dad to go back again and she highlighted and bolded the instructions this time. After the doctor's appointment I drove my dad to quest diagnostic again and this I told them what we need. This time it was also a different front lady and she was well informed. She Gave is the RIGHT container this time and told us to come back for blood test again on Saturday while my dad is fasting and to bring back the containers. So, on Saturday, my dad brings the containers and signs in for a drop off and blood test. The wait for just drop off was thirty minutes. He then waited for 2.5 hours just to get his blood sample taken! While we were waiting there was a dude that got so angry with the disorganization of this organization that he told them he needs to talk to their supervisor and they said they don't have a supervisor available. I have visited quest diagnostic in other town and they seemed to have a supervised and organized system going on. However, this location is a pure mess. They absolutely don't care about patients time and they are extremely negligent with an extremely un-organized (with any coordination) system. read more
