Terrible place. Staff must be short staffed if not, they are very slow and don't know how to do…read moretheir job!

Let me start of by pointing out the good things: the office was clean and lines for appointments…read moreand walk-ins were clearly labeled. It was a gloomy office; the receptionist didn't smile or greet and I heard someone in the back said, "I could shoot myself." Hopefully that was a patient and not a staff member who said that. How unprofessionally would that be?!? After I checked in for my father, we sat down and waited. Quite surprisingly, it was fast--maybe five minutes waiting and we got called into the back. I was happy for that. The phlebotomist verified my father's birthdate at the door and again in the private room. This whole time she didn't say good morning or hello. She talked with her back towards us. She asked for my father's ID and then after she swiped it, she handed it back without looking (her back was still facing us still). She didn't smile either; the staff doesn't seem like they want to be there. She was very impatient when she asked my dad for his signature after she drew his blood. He was signing very slow--he's an 80 year old man! I was standing there watching the entire time. I noticed another terminal in the office was unlocked. I could see and read the patient's name on the screen. I'm pretty sure they violated the HIPAA law. The other phlebotomist probably thought she's leaving the room really fast, but it can't be like that when the room is shared. She did return and close out the screen. Hopefully they will address their customer service and train staff to protect patient's confidentiality. I certainly don't want other patients or people seeing my father's or other patients information. I didn't even know their names, and they didn't know mine either. Sad.
