I have been to this location 3 times recently and all times the phlebotomists have been incredibly empathetic and caring. In the past at other hospitals or labs I have dealt with so much judgement from health care workers for a symptom I have almost no control over. This is why I will always go to this location from now on. I visited this location yesterday and the phlebotomist even offered to let me lay down while getting the blood draw, which was truly going the extra mile for me. I went here to get a preemployment drug screening. It's kind of a strange business model. You walk…read morein and there's no person anywhere to talk to. You check in on a kiosk. It's crazy busy and the kiosk told me to come back 4 1/2 hours later. OK, no problem. But I was feeling a little concerned so I tried to call the customer service line to make sure they can take my paperwork. Still no human to talk to. Only an AI assistant who can make or break an appointment for you. They cannot answer any questions. So I go back at the time it told me to, wait in the waiting area for 20 minutes. They call me back and the attendant was very nice, but she had never seen the type of paperwork I had for the preemployment drug screening. So long story short, they could not do my test and I spent most of the business day trying to figure it out. They were nice and they did give me a list of labs that might possibly do it. I would return to this business, it seems like they do a lot of lab tests that are reasonably priced that you can pay for independently. Stuff that your doctor might give you a hard time about like hormone, testing, etc. But don't come here with a preemployment drug screening.

I made the appointment online, and I checked on my phone when I arrived. They called my name exactly on time. Got my blood drawn and was out in 5 mins. The guy who drew my blood was very kind, but he had difficulties getting the blood to flow, so the area where the needle went in ended up very bruised and red. And there was more blood than usual on the gauze.

If you get blood work make sure you fast before. Plenty of parking in the front. When you walk in, there are two iPads to check in. You just put your appointment info and then it has a place to scan your ID and insurance card. I only waited about 5 mins and then I got called back right away. Kim who helped me was very nice and informative. Explained what kind of blood test I'm doing and instructed me how to position my arm. I also did a urine sample. But my urine wasn't a lot so luckily she found a container to determine if it was enough. She said I was good to go. She saved me the trouble of coming back. Left around 8am so only took 15 mins for me. I know some people said that they waited longer, so save your yourself to trouble and make an appointment online!

So I decided to go there. Scheduled my appointment for 12:30, arrived about 5 minutes early, walked in and did a self check-in, sat for maybe 5 minutes, and then was seen by the Phelbotomist. She took me to the back and verified all of my information, took the necessary vials for the needed lest. And then I was good to go...in and out in about 10-15 minutes max! The staff is usually really nice and don't look like they hate their life or job, compared to other Sutter imagining centers. It is a very small location. Chairs need some updating due to its comfort and deterioration.
