It was the WORST experience ever from start to finish... All with the one girl who took me from the waiting room. She was extremely rude, sarcastic and nasty from the very beginning and it ruined my entire visit AND my chance at a great job!!! She treated me like everything I did was wrong. She has NO people skills and should NOT be allowed to be around the public. She rudely stood outside the bathroom yelling that I was in there for 2 minutes, told me that I didn't produce enough urine and that I would have to stay and drink water to take the test again. I explained that I had a doctor's appointment and if I canceled it, I would be charged $100. Then she said "if you leave the building you will have to get another bar code from your employer ". I have never been through this before, so I didn't know what to expect. I walked out into the hallway and then turned around and went back into the exam room, and I told her I would drink the water so I could try the test again. She rudely turned around and said that they canceled me out of the system already. The girl sitting in the chair next to her using the computer said to wait, that she wanted to check if my order was canceled. The rude girl quickly said "no, we already canceled you out already." I told her that I was only gone for a few seconds in the hallway and I NEVER left the building! She said with a nasty attitude "it's too late, you have to get another bar code". She clearly did this on purpose and couldn't wait to get me out of there. I was livid as I later found out that she indicated in her notes that the test came back false and that I left the building, therefore I did not get the job. I never left the building and she knows it! She's clearly a miserable b***** and I hope karma gets her 10 fold!!! I will never go to the Germantown location in Danbury again, nor will I recommend Quest to anyone!! read more

Good morning, Yelp community, I tried to call with this complaintr but Quest makes it impossible to speak with a real person. I am not waiting all day to make a phone complaint about the staff at 120 Main St, in Danbury, CT 06810. I HAD a 9:40 appointment there for both a pre-op and other tests. I was kicked out for asking for answers. And yes, it got loud, both of us. 1) I got there at 9:25, signed into the kiosk ,BECAUSE THEIR SMART PHONE CHECK-IN LINK HAS never WORKED. 2) I have a Quest patient account. WHY does the kiosk ask for my, License ID, back and Front, AS WELL AS my insurance cards, both back and front, when I am in the system and have been for YEARS???!!! 3) Now, for today's visit: I entered at 9 :25 AM into the tiny, PACKED waiting room. Almost every chair was filled. When I arrived, the monitor said 3 people were being helped at that time. Remember, my appointment was for 9:40. Every 10 minutes or so, one would go in, and then come out. The SAME two patients they SAID were being helped NEVER left between 9:25 and 10:10, when Joanna threw mw out and would not answer ANY of my questions as to why these two patients never left the areas, the entire time I was there and people were coming in one at a time? She would NOT answer any of my questions. This was for a pre-op prior to possible surgery and more. I asked for someone to call me so I can let them know what other issues are going on there. For example, the tiny area they use draw blood is insufficient for one person to move around, not three. This office has NO break room so where would they sit? Where they draw the blood?! Joanna said I am not going to take your blood or whatever she said. She also asked another inept tech: "You can take her if you want." She did and said NOTHING. All three should be terminated. Joanna was both rude and snotty. I made another appointment for TOMORROW, the 3rd. They'd BETTER take my blood! All this information above was sent to Quest, after hanging up, not waiting a half hour for someone to MAYBE take the call. I really need to look into finding another facility.Also,the Quest at Germantown Rd refuses to take walk-ins. WHY? AVOID Quest! read more

I went in for blood work today 4/18 and I am so impressed with the care, consideration and professionalism I experienced with Regina and her staff. I mistakenly forgot my paperwork at home and Regina did everything she could to get the information faxed over but the doctors office did not after saying they would  . Regina stayed   back late at the office  while I went home to retrieve the paperwork and completed my appointment . she did not say there was  nothing she can do,, instead she did everything possible to help.i have anxiety around medical facilities but Regina and  her staff made me feel so at ease . I highly recommend this location to everyone and will only be using this location for any future appointments , thank you so much  to the amazing Regina and her staff. read more

Quest is an absolute nightmare to make an appointment at. Their website is terribly slow and their phone scheduling robot does not accurately register anything. Then you wait 2 hours to speak with a real person, then they hang up on you. Impossible company to deal with, would avoid in any way possible. read more

Go someplace else for your lab work. I underwent a 2 hour timed glucose tolerance test with five blood drawing events for the purpose of assessing my growth hormone levels. The test was specifically NOT for diabetic testing and the physicians script had specific instructions for the phlebotomist regarding the growth hormone testing. I went over the script with the phlebotomist to make sure he understood the script so there would be no misunderstanding. Despite my physician's script and my detailed instructions to the technician, this quest office made an error and ordered the wrong tests from the lab. As a result, I wasted several hours of my day, my insurance was billed for incorrect lab work and most importantly, my physician was not provided with the information he requested. Again, if you need lab work for health care related testing, be aware this office can be extremely negligent. read more

I was able to schedule my appointment and to register online. The emails employees here are extremely fast and efficient. I was in and out in 6 minutes! I was able to go on my lunch hour and I didn't burn a day off from work. Julie, Arooj and Lauren helped me and they were very professional and efficient. read more

Waited over an hour for a simple urine analysis pre-employment drug screen. One week later and Quest still has not provided the results to the employer or myself. Avoid any Quest location, and specifically the one on Germantown Rd, Danbury if other options are available. read more

I went for fasting blood work. Their check in process was great and very fast. Paige did my blood draw and I mentioned that I was really nervous. She was lovely and really put my mind at ease. It all turned out to be a piece of cake! I was in and out within ten minutes. So thankful and they are so lovely here! read more

I have my blood drawn every 3 months and my experience there has always been good. I go when they open and never have an appointment. The staff is courteous and I'm always out of there within 30 minutes. read more

It is the second time that I have received a bad treatment in that locality. Today I was at 120 main street in Danbury but the person could not obtain the blood of my mother-in-law and he sent us to Germatown so that they could attend to her that someone was going to receive me because I did not have an appointment in that location, the person told me that I should wait for those who were first but then she continued to attend to others who arrived while we were waiting. she was very rude. I understand that they call of what they were first. It bothers me that she called those who arrived last knowing that my mother-in-law was an isolated case. we came from another Quest location where they could not get her blood from her. read more

Mike Jasinski pjasinski@snet.net 2/13/19 Dear Sir/Madam, As a outpatient veteran, within the Danbury area, I`m very grateful of your origination, for years it saved me time and travel, along with the professional service I always received, but yesterday morning (approx. between 9:30-10:30 AM)while I was having my blood drawn, by this very nice technician and as I was getting ready to leave, another I believe she was another technician, and we were discussing the weather, and left with a, have a nice day and be careful with ice outside, when this young Latino boy entered the room as I was saying goodbye, and he remarked to me not to come back, I was shocked, and remarked that I probably wouldn't, at the same time the girls rebuked his remarks, looking at him face to face, he looked serious. I`ve got no idea what that this was about, but it kind of frighten me a bit, especially within the health industry, don`t know if he is a technician, but I wouldn`t want him drawing my blood, I feel I have a obligation to say something, as they say," see something say something." Waited an hour after signing in at the kiosk. Asked someone why I was waiting ..... oh I'll take you next. Still waiting.

I am required to get routine blood work for a chronic illness. The process is usually simple for me. Head over to Quest, wait a bit, and get a few vials for my standing order. This location is extremely close to work so today I went there at 12:30pm on lunch. As you arrive there is no one at the front to assist you. Check-in is a self-service registration on an iPad at the front. Most people unfamiliar with iPads can take a while, so turn the corner and there's another one against the wall. I say this because one person ahead of you can really make a difference. The wait can be frustrating if you do not have an appointment. There were about 6-7 other people ahead of me. A television screen on the wall displays the line of people waiting and the estimated time. The estimated time is very, very wrong. My original time said 13 minutes. However, after waiting 15 minutes my time then got bumped to 20 minutes, then 17, then 13, then 17, all the while the phlebotomists were having difficulty keeping track of the names they called. After 45 minutes I was called in. The vibe of the staff here is sour. So if you have any anxiety about getting a needle poked into your arm by a stranger, you won't be eased. The reason I'm writing this review is because in room #2 today there was blood splattered on the ground. About 4-5 dried droplets of blood. Someone else's blood. If this is any indication of their general sanitary measures, I am concerned. Things to improve: check-in process, miserable character of the staff, and blood on the floor. TIP: Make an appointment. I much prefer the staff at Quest on W Main St in Waterbury. They are much more friendly, efficient, clean, and communicative. read more

What a nightmare. Attempted to get a simple urinalysis done and there was nobody at the front desk, a waiting room full of people and over an hour wait. The TV in the waiting room was so loud you couldn't even hear your name being called. I elected to leave and get the test done at another location. Get it together! read more

I have had tests done at Quest several times and found the staff friendly, courteous, experienced and efficient. I'd highly recommend them over other local testing facilities. read more

I went to Quest today to get blood work for my daughter. We were called into the room and one of the Quest employees was mot wearing a mask at all. I asked her to put a mask on, and her response was "I'm leaving soon.". I told her I felt very uncomfortable and asked her again to put on a mask. She again refused. She raised her voice and said again that she was on her way out. She then stepped into one of the exam rooms. She did not leave. One of the other employees handed her a mask, and she refused it. Ummm.... And then... she started arguing with me and telling me why she didn't need to put a mask on!?!?!?! It's truly sad that we are one year into Covid and healthcare workers still refuse to wear masks while they are treating patients. We are inside a Quest Diagnostics office. People are specifically coming here to get Covid tests and other tests when they believe they are sick. I know it's uncomfortable to wear a mask all day. It sucks. But please, please - if you work at Quest - wear a mask. And if you need to take it off for a bit to take a break, then please, please, please put it on if someone asks you to. read more

Does anyone at Quest know how this facility functions? I have managed to avoid using Quest for several years (I use Danbury Hospital instead) due to prior poor experiences. However, I needed to use Quest recently, and scheduled an appointment via their automated system at the Germantown location. The day of my appointment, it took 45 minutes after my appointment time to be assigned a technician, who immediately complained to me that she had just been asked to work extra hours and then proceeded to enumerate her stress level. Due to her distraction by her upset, her cell phone going off, etc., she required several tries to fill out the electronic workflow for my test. I am not confident she was able to complete it, successfully. Don't ever think of using this facility. read more

I went here for blood work last week. The employees are very unprofessional and rude. Sighing when I walked up to the counter. Ripping the paperwork out of my hand. And they didn't ever say hello , just what are you here for? If I didn't have to have it done that day I would have walked out an went to anther location. Worst service ever. read more

Horrible ! No one is behind the windows to help you anymore. They saw me but never acknowledged me, so I opened the door, to hand my sample off to the tech. He grabbed it, got mad, walked out to the waiting room and threw it on a table in the waiting room stating " Goodluck with getting your blood done" and walked back into the back room. I don't know why he would leave a blood sample in the waiting room on a table. Anyway, I will NEVER go back. will use another lab, as we have choices. Not sure what happened to my blood. But I went to another, more pleasant lab, they even acknowledged me when I walked in. read more

Hate to give this even one star. This lab is not professional. They didn't have the equipment needed to do routine testing so I had to leave without the testing being done after waiting for a long time for them to come to the front desk. I could hear them chatting in the back while I was waiting. A woman with a big attitude came out and told me to sit down and wait. If you can go to another lab - do so!!!!! read more
