I was in labor for three days and stayed at the hospital for five and my husband and I still rave about how well we (plus our girl!) were treated. What a warm all-star team, from our midwife Linda to Katelyn our nurse and our OB Dr. Shaw, who made giving birth one of the biggest, coolest, bravest things I could do. I'd always heard that Northern Westchester has got a great labor and delivery dept but this went beyond anything I dreamed. Plus, the food is unreal. Feasting on salmon, chicken quesadillas, pancakes, and green smoothies pre and post-birth? Your own room? 24-hour nonstop help and advice? A first-time-parent's dream. 5 stars!!!!

I am writing to formally report the unacceptable treatment I received from your facility during my…read morerecent attempt to be admitted as a residential patient for therapeutic care due to significant mobility challenges. Prior to contacting your facility, I confirmed with my healthcare provider that I was eligible for up to twenty (20) days of residential care. My primary care physician and healthcare provider fully cleared the admission, and the Director of Admissions at your facility acknowledged that all necessary information had been provided. However, after completing every required step, my admission was rejected by the facility's Administrator without explanation. Despite my request to speak directly with the Administrator, I was denied the professional courtesy of a response. At 83 years of age--and while experiencing severe, widespread pain--this lack of communication and disregard for my medical needs was deeply troubling. I consider this behavior to be unprofessional, unethical, and reflective of grossly substandard practices. As a result, I find it necessary to formally report this incident to ensure that others are not subjected to the same neglect. Wendell Johnson

Their offerings were minuscule. But they had me on heart healthy low sodium diet. I asked why low sodium. They said due to blood pressure. I have low blood pressure and don't have issues with sodium. To bad. For breakfast I asked for eggs. The only available were a hard boiled egg or scrambled egg whites. Cooked in batches , using cooking spray that contains soy. I had gf toast, a small single bite of low fat sausage, a small banana, a small bowl of grapes and a small coffee ( no sugar allowed). The two meals I ate were the most pitiful meals that I have ever been served and had to pay for. Dietary has gone downhill severely! The food used to be delicious!
