I went in today on a walk in at quest vons Clovis location and almost got turned away because a worker gave false information but I'm sure it was cause they were so close to closing. I called my insurance KNOWING I BEEN GOING TO QUEST FOR 15PLUS YEARS AND WAS JUST THERE 2 DAYS AGO I called my insurance and she even called and they told her they do accept medical calviva Adventist to be exact her attitude was rude the place felt hostile with her i believe her name was dexie or something the regular girl who's there is so nice so professional happy environment that lady I spoke with today was so unprofessional and needs extensive training I ENDED UP STILL NOT GETTING ANY CARE AFTER PROVING MY INSURANCE WAS ACCEPTED BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO ASK HER BOSS. read more

Horrible customer service. I came in early, around 0830, without appointment and there were four people in front of me. The lab attendant/employee asked anyone without an appointment to go down the street to the other center because she was the only one there. I said I had already checked it but was willing to wait. She insisted I leave because she had to take lunch at 11 and was the only one there. I didn't want to leave since I was already there, but I didn't want some cranky old lady drawing blood from me either so I left and waited an hour at the other location on Herndon. My wait was great as they just returned from lunch. Jessica did a great job doing labs. I am a cancer patient and only my right arm can to used, which means my right hand as that is the only place a vein can be found. She got it the first try. Excellent work. Thank you. read more

I have used this location for my family a few times now but won't go back again. My young adult child has had a terrible time here the past two times they needed blood drawn and urin analysis. On one occasion their grandmother, a retired nurse, took them in as a walk-in. The website and phone message stated that appointments were strongly recommended but that they do take walk-ins but appointments are prioritized which is fine, as this test really needed to be done that day in order to be ready for the doctor's appointment available the following week for ongoing progressive health issues. So they went in , in the early afternoon with only one other patron in the office and the phlebotomist refused service, was very rude and said appointments were required. I had to take them to get blood and have another urine test yesterday for an appointment next week and we made an appointment and were 5 min. late due to dizziness my child was experiencing as well as traffic and when we got there no one was in the office. The computer sign in was covered with a "break time" clock that was not set to a proper return time. It said 9:15 and it was 1:45 with our appointment time at 1:40. She didn't return for 25 min., Said she waited for us but we were late so she took her break. We said that's fine- no one else is here- we will just do a "walk-in". She at first tried to get us to make another appointment. We said we would wait if needed and if another appointment comes wait for that too, we still need the tests done. She was extremely rude and said they had other appointments and get walk-ins all the time so snapped at me for saying, "there is no one else here". She took her time getting ready so her break turned into a 40 min. break when she finally called my child back. Two other people came in, one a walk-n and the other had an appointment but not until 3:00 PM. She helped and spoke to them while my child was left in back waiting. She then finally sent my child in for the urine test and then took my kid's blood, who by the way has an anxiety disorder and is afraid of needles, and she painfully poked them with the needle, took the blood and literally ripped the needle out of their arm causing them to bleed through two cotton balls. We had tho change the cotton with another bandaid as soon as we got to the car as it had bled through again almost sending my kid into a panic attack. Their arm is still very bruised today and is painful. I was shocked with how bad this person's service was and then not surprised to see their site only has 2 stars. We came here for the convinced of the location in Vons thinking it may be less busy than other sites which it usually is, but the bad service is not worth it if this person is on the job! We will be going to the other Quest further down Herndon closer to Armstrong and Clovis Commuity from now on no matter how long the wait is! I believe the phlebotomist that helped me with my 3hour glucose test was named Christine. She was great for that location only being open for 3 days and being so small, with her being the only worker doing both front office and back office work she handled everything amazing! Even when they got busy and she was the only one doing everything and people getting annoyed for the wait she still smiled welcomed the people in and worked very fast and efficient. I can't give this place 5stars because it was like cramming chairs in a hallway and the fact that they only had one worker was beyond inconvenient. I was there for a 3hour test so I saw the ends and outs within the time I was there, will I be back maybe. The only reason to return would be the hospitality the phlebotomist showed. They do have there own restroom, they don't have any water machine so bring your own bottle water. Also it gets hectic in there so to the fact that they are located next door to the pharmacy so the pharmacy people have to walk through quest to get to there door, poorly set up or thought through. read more

My husband checked the website This morning before going in and it said walk-ins are welcome. He arrived at 7 AM and there was one other person there. The phlebotomist refused to see him saying he needed an appointment. He looked behind him in disbelief. There was nobody else there! She refused to provide services unless he made an appointment and came back later. He went to the Peachwood location and said he was in and out of there in less than seven minutes. read more

POOR AVAILABILITY!!! This quest is the only lab on this side of Clovis due to the lab at Clovis Community closing. I walked in at 8 am, for a fasted lab test and was told I needed tonnage an appointment. There was no one else inside the lab as a patient only the two girls working! I feel like it's ridiculous to have the only quest diagnostics Lab on this side of town the appointment only when clearly they were not busy at all. I was literally the only person in there and yet they wouldn't see me for a quick blood draw. I was told I needed to drive down to Peachwave medical care which was completely out of my way as I had to go back to Clovis community Hospital for my doctors follow-up! Then even if your there waiting they will take appointments first and are rude and will tell you that to go to other one down the street very unprofessional ...last time my husband went the girl left a huge hematoma on his arm it was there for a week .. This office is located inside Vons back by the Pharmacy. It was just after 8am. I walked in with my youngest in his stroller, signed in on the touch screen, and took a seat. Within 5 minutes I was being called back. I was greeted by Maishia with a friendly smile. She asked me some questions, let me know how much I would owe for today's services, and even talked to my son before she drew my blood. My son kept throwing his milk and she assured me it wasn't a problem, even though it kept leaking a little out of his sippy. She gave me a piece of paper about downloading the app for Quest, and told me to have a nice day. She was very friendly and all in all I was out of there within 15 minutes. I know my results aren't necessarily typical, however my entire experience was great. Maybe other people have their negative experiences because they are going a different time than I did. read more

I'm a bit confused by some of the reviews posted here. Earlier today, about 12:45, I walked in without an appointment. I was immediately greeted with smiles from both employees and instantly attended to. Katy P was my phlebotomist and she literally had me in and out of the office in 9 minutes!!! She was amazingly gentle and I outta know, I've been force to do this for almost 20 years now. Unfortunately for me I'm not usually on this side of town but for the excellent service I'll probably take the drive next time I need it. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The hours for this location are wrong. They close at 4:00 pm and the staff is incredibly in apologetic about it. This is the second location I have visited today, the first having a legitimate plumbing issue at clovis community. I will not be coming here again and I don't suggest anyone else does either. People who lack empathy should not work in the medical profession. Very disappointed and frustrated with my service at the Vons location on Herndon and Fowler specifically. Wow, I never had to wait so long at a lab office. I waited over an hour and a half just to get lab work done. They only have one phlebotomist working here. I am never coming back here again. Just imagine if you had been fasting and diabetic. Your blood sugar would have dropped to the point where you HAVE to eat. You are better off going to a regular Quest facility. It's a joke to have one placed in Vons. read more

I had an appointment for a vaccine appointment at 12:15, came early, and checked in. The phlebotomist ignored all patients waiting and when my name was called, told me that I needed to go to the pharmacy next door instead. There was no sign informing the patients of this. I suggested it and the phlebotomist argued with me instead, saying that there was a sign outside the store that patients should go to the pharmacy instead. There was not. After I checked in at the pharmacy, they told me to go back to the Quest lab and wait for the pharmacist to give the vaccine in the lab. I ended up getting the vaccine at around 12:50 even though I had an appointment for 12:15. It was not a good experience. read more

I don't know what all the complaints are about. Friendly staff. Efficient and accommodating. Clean waiting area/rooms and self explanatory check-in. No appointment? No problem - walk-in's are taken between appointments and after 12:30. 2 gals working today and both were courteous and proficient. Hope I don't have to go back because getting poked with a needle isn't on my top ten list of fun things to do. But would return if bloodwork is required in the future. read more
