I had no clue they had a Clovis location! I've been to AMI before but at their Palm location. It's my first time here. I was referred by my NP and scheduling called the next day and was able to set up an appointment with me the following weekday. I was so happy with their quick service. Wish I had known about this location since it's closer to me. My appointment was at 5pm but I was told to arrive 30mins prior to my appointment. I did all the pre-assessment/ check in on MyChart days before my appointment. I arrived at the building around 4:18pm there was a lady before me and it took a while to get me checked in only because the lady before me did not do her pre-screening questions on the app so the front desk was asking her all the questions. l waited about 10mins to get checked in. Unlike the Palm Location this place only had one receptionist and the phones were constantly ringing too. Not sure if it's because it's the end of the day or they are short staffed but they definitely need a 2nd person to assist to avoid long check in times. After checking in I sat in their waiting area, 5mins later they called me back and my sonographer was really nice. She was quick I was done and out of the building 5mins later. This place is clean, plenty of parking. I would definitely recommend downloading mychart app to do an e-check in prior to arriving to your appointment to avoid the long waits and it also helps the staff. But the staff is super friendly, i was in and out in about 30min, that was with several people in front of me too. It was quick, painless and overall a very nice experience. DO NOT GO HERE! They over schedule making them incapable of maintaining appt times. They require you to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appt with little to no grace period (I watched them turn people away after being FOUR minutes late after hearing them tell someone they had a 5 min grace period) and this is for the arrival time not even appt time. I arrived at 10:30 as required for my 11:00 appt. I was not called back to change until 11:18, then I sat in a second waiting room in a gown for TWENTY MORE minutes. What a disrespect of my time. This is not the first time I've had to wait a ridiculous amount of time but it is the last time. I will never go back! read more

My cardiologist sent me here, way out on the other side of Clovis, for one more heart scan. I learned that this location, although not convenient, had the equipment to take this picture of my heart that would show something the previous scan did not--actual blood flow through the heart chambers. The waiting room is large and it needs to be as this is a busy place. A second waiting room was a longer wait until I was actually taken to a room for the scan. The scan took only a few minutes and I was returned to the waiting room and then I was finished. The scan was successful and did find a problem that the cardiologist has addressed. I'm glad this advanced type of imaging is available in this area. read more

Was seen quickly and films taken. Ten minutes later the result shows up on My Chart. I need a disk burned for my doctor. They said it would be 15 minutes. An hour later and I still don't have it. No consideration for patients time. I went to the desk at 45 minutes and they told me it would be 5 minutes. read more

This was my first visit at this location. I had to have a pelvic ultrasound done which also included my girly bits having an ultrasound. I arrived 30 min prior to my appointment as requested and I was called in about 5 min earlier than my actual appointment. The front desk staff were friendly and wearing masks. They had a jar of clean pens with a discard jar for used pens to sign in with. The building is nice and the ultrasound room I was in was comfortable and clean. They had a bathroom in my room as well as I would have to use it in between the 2 ultrasounds. The bathroom was simple in decor and clean. The woman that did my ultrasounds was very professional, gentle and had great communication. read more

They are opened on Saturdays, which is nice. This is one of those places that tells you that your arrival time is 30 minutes prior to your appointment time. I showed up at about 8:15 for my 8:45 appointment. It took three minutes to process my paperwork and I proceded to sit. And wait. 8:45 passed. 9:00 passed. My procedure was performed, and I was out. Overall my experience was fine. It just irks me that when it comes to medical appointments, it's standard to wait well past your appointment time, even after being told to come in early. I had the best nurse named Michelle. She got me in so fast and really tended to my needs of claustrophobia. I've been to lots of medical places including a lot of surgeries and she was the best nurse I had ever had. The MRI technician named John was super cool. He informed me of every scan and length of time for each one to make sure I was fully aware. I actually fell asleep through most of it being that comfortable. Very cool people. Im sure everyone is good there, but Michele and John was super cool. Before the procedure, Michele hung out with me and made me feel super comfortable. She was the best nurse I'd ever had. My teenage son needed an x-ray of his arm taken, and somehow we've made it this far without ever needing an x-ray for him before. (Parenting achievement unlocked? Probably just sheer luck!) It was easy to make an appointment (I requested a call after hours via email on their website, they called me as soon as they opened the next day.) On the day of the appointment we hit road construction and ran 5 minutes late. They were super kind about it and we barely waited to be called in the waiting room - maybe 3 minutes? Our x-ray tech was super nice, walked my son through the process and even let him see the images of his arm after. We were in and out in less than 15 minutes. Perfect experience. read more

4/4/2019 I had an appointment for an ultrasound at 7:30 this morning. I arrived there at 6:45 am, there was only one car in the parking lot, so no problem finding a parking space. A receptionist lady was friendly and courteous, plenty of seating in the waiting room , the wait was about 30 minutes not too bad for medical places. Ultrasound went smoothly. The facility is clean. The only thing about this place is that when you call the number to try making an appointment, the wait on the phone is forever. The reminder call is helpful though, to remind you not to eat or drink six hours before the ultrasound appointment. The ultrasound results take three days. I've been to the Palm/Herndon location for a mammogram and the staff there were also very nice and courteous. read more

This is my first appointment at this facility. It was incredibly easy to make an appointment over the phone at a time that works with my schedule. I was able to find a time within the same business week that I called, which is fantastic. I had an early morning appointment and was in and out within a half hour or so. Patrice, my xray tech was very fast, wonderful attitude, very informative for any questions I had, personable as well as professional. I needed a copy of my chest X-rays and called their medical records department today. I was 2nd in line which was about a 5 minute wait, the person who answered (Kevin? Not sure if I remember the name correctly), answered the phone, verified my identity and took my info. and offered options of how I can get a copy of my results. The experience I had at this place was fine, it was the billing department that could use some help. Terrible, rude woman answered the phone. My statement says they are located in San Diego. Good luck trying to setup payments or anything through the billing department. The billing department ruined my otherwise great experience here. I have had many CT scans and MRI in my time. Never have I had an experiance like the one I had today at Advanced Medical Imaging at 570 N Magnolia, Clovis. I am extremely claustrophobics and have high anxiety every time I go to an imaging place. Every person that I came in contact with at this facility was very professional and caring. The most important person that I can honestly say made my experience one to remember and to refer everyone to is Thomas. He was the tech that calmed me down and probably didn't even know that he did that. He was very professional and caring. During the whole scan he would ask if I was doing ok, explained every step, and would say I'm doing good. I'm sure some would say this sounds like every facility. But trust me, It is not. You can sense real honest caring people and I have never had it at any of the other facility that I have been too. Every facility should have professionals like Thomas. Scott, and the receptionist. Had an appointment yesterday for 11am. I waited one hour, then asked what was taking so long, they called back and said I still had another hour. THEY TAKE WALK INS. why make an appointment? IT MEANS NOTHING. An employee said come back at 8 we will get you right in, there are 16 people here, I arrived at 750, they have called back 5-6 people.
