    This was my first visit at this location. I had to have a pelvic ultrasound done which also included my girly bits having an ultrasound. I arrived 30 min prior to my appointment as requested and I was called in about 5 min earlier than my actual appointment. The front desk staff were friendly and wearing masks. They had a jar of clean pens with a discard jar for used pens to sign in with. The building is nice and the ultrasound room I was in was comfortable and clean. They had a bathroom in my room as well as I would have to use it in between the 2 ultrasounds. The bathroom was simple in decor and clean. The woman that did my ultrasounds was very professional, gentle and had great communication.

Every single time I was getting imaging done my physicians were becoming frustrated with vague non specific reports. One specialist suggested that I get my referrals sent here and only here for the reasons mentioned above. Usually within about a week of insurance approving the imaging I get a phone call from scheduling. The facility hours early and late hours that are accommodating to those that work normal working hours. Customer service: I have always been greeted kindly and quickly or asked to please hold while dealing with a phone call or a patient in front of me. I have never waited for an appointment longer than about half an hour. Cleanliness: the facility including restrooms have always been very clean. If ushered to a room to change, the rooms have been clean and so are the back waiting area with the lockers. Providing explanations: It is important in the medical field to provide explanations for testing and imaging especially if they are invasive and involve contrast or an iv of any kind! I have always received very thorough explanations and asked if I understood and had any questions. Imaging: images are typically loaded the same day and reports are usually loaded in a few days. I have never had an issue with adding an extra doctor like my primary on to have the report sent to them also. I have a few doctors that want the images on disk and it takes about fifteen minutes after the appointment for them to do so. Reports:Every report I have received from this imaging center has had extremely detailed info including size, characteristics, noted other items/issues in viewing field, changes of previous imaging done, recommendations, findings, ... Will I return: EVERY SINGLE TIME I CAN AS LONG AS ITS COVERED BY MY INSURANCE!

I have to drive almost an hour and a half to get here so I have no choice but to continue sitting here waiting. I will never come back here. The front desk ladies are nice though. CONTINUATION: I didn't get called back until after 4 o'clock. Changed into the gown and sat and waited to get my IV. IV in off to the MRI machine. I was handed squished up earplugs while I was already face down so it was difficult to get them in my ears. No headphones with music (I've had several breast mris and was always asked what genre of music would I like - here nothing.) which then makes the MRI super loud. Face down and the face donut didn't even come close to reaching my face. Was not offered a warm blanket or any blanket for that matter and it was freezing in the machine. No instruction on what was to happen or any communication during the procedure. Just not well cared for here.

Calls are rarely, returned! I had an epidural a couple of weeks ago, and had several unusual symptoms I had never experienced. I put THREE calls into his office regarding 3 unusual symptoms and got one call back handling only one of the symptoms. I called again at night so the medical assistant would call me first thing in the morning, saying I was still concerned about my symtpoms and wanting to see the doctor and NEVER got a call back! The medical assistant is the conduit between the patient and the doctor and his medical assistants is unprofessional and doesn't seem to care for Dr. Guinto's patients. I'm frustrated and disappointed.

Still no follow up appointment months later. Honestly this place is the WORST office I've ever been to. I give up. You can BET they are calling me to pay my bill though, so that's lovely. Bottom line is they push hundreds of people in and out of this place and money is all they care about. ----------------------------------------------- I saw Dr. Guinto who seemed genuine and listened to my concerns. At my first visit I had to arrive an hour early where I then waited almost two hours to be called back into the room. I then got my MRI. MRI department was wonderful. No complaints there. I had some issues trying to determine why this doctor suddenly said out of network when a week earlier it said he was in network (my insurance ended up solving the issue). The office staff was of ZERO help. They have been so rude when I have called in. Now I'm trying to schedule a follow up appointment, and they are over a month and a half out AND do not care about working around your schedule. As much as I appreciated Dr. Guinto, I'm going to try to find another doctor and go here as an absolute last resort. I have a M-F job and cannot spend 3-4 hours total waiting to be seen by a doctor. It's very difficult to even get the time off for a visit as Is.

Most medical facilities struggle to keep good reviews because lack of staffing cause long wait times and quick interactions. Secondly, I was shocked that the urgent care wasn't extremely busy and that I was brought into the back within 15 minutes of my arrival. Thirdly, I was so so IMPRESSED with how kind, and just happy my doctor was. I don't meet too many doctors who really strike a cord with me, but DR.KERR was genuinely just such a nice doctor. I was seen for a kidney infection, I knew the symptoms, had experienced them a year before, after a quick urine test he agreed. He said he'd prescribe a tablet to take once a day for 10 days, if I experienced fever to go to the ER. I asked if he knew how fast the CVS right next door would possibly fill that prescription (dumb question-that isn't something most doctors are really going to know, but I have word vomit sometimes) and he said it could take anywhere from an hour to longer. He asked if I ever used them before and I said no. He then said he wanted to give me an antibiotic shot that would at least cover me for 24 hours in case they didn't get the prescription filled that night, which was AMAZING. He didn't have to do that at all. I am so thankful that he did, though. CVS didn't get the prescription filled until late. I went to bed in a lot of pain due to the kidney infection, but that shot did it's job and by this morning I am as good as new!!!!! I'm still going to grab my prescription after work today, because following the treatment plan all the way through is how it gets fixed and doesn't just flare back up in a couple days, but I cannot express how fantastic Dr. Kerr and really ALL of the staff was.

There's no one to help you with check-in, you're immediately pointed to a QR code where you fill out all of the paperwork yourself. Once the receptionist has that, she points you to a machine IN THE WAITING ROOM to get your vitals. Everything from weight and temperature to blood pressure and oxygen numbers is done by one of those machines you generally see at Walmart that you sit and put your arm in. WTF? That machine prints out a paper that you give to the receptionist. Because I was there thinking I have a kidney infection, she handed me a urine specimen cup, and told me to go into the bathroom, again, in the waiting room. A basket in the waiting room for the collection of your investments already had someone else's specimen in it. With their information on it. I'm sorry but HIPAA who? I then sat back down until called back to go to a room. A nurse didn't come in the room to talk to me or anything. I sent to room 3 to wait. I sat in my room for half an hour, listening to the full exam of a kid in the room next to me because the walls are really thin, before a doctor come in to tell me that because I drink a lot of water, my urine was clear... dilute ... and that it could be an ovarian cyst or even appendicitis, she doesn't know what's causing the pain in my lower back, that I should go to the emergency room to get imagining done and they could tell me what's causing the pain in my back around my kidneys and the malaise. So not only did I just pay my co-pay, but I was also charged an extra fee for urinalysis, something I've never had done before in any doctors office in my life. I walked out feeling like I just wasted my money and my time. If you've got something really simple like a sinus infection, I feel like this would be a good option. But for anything else? No... and now to the ER I go. UPDATE: I noticed the rebuttal the manager of the office posted below, and no, they are not telling the truth. There was a name, first and last name on that cup of urine that was sitting in the bathroom when I went in. A rare occurrence today! When my time came a lady named Chris came and took me to the changing room and then to the CT machine. She was a delight to have as my CT operator. The good news is I'll be going to a place I have never been that has high powered open MRI machines as well as extremity machines where you sit in a comfortable chair and stick your arm/leg into the machine at Visalia Imaging and Open MRI When I have a choice to not do business with a company that is outsourcing American jobs, i choose to go a different direction.

The office staff member must be under some disillusionment that she is running the hottest night club in town vs. a doctor's office. I called to make an appointment. I was told that the doctors are very careful about what patients they take in and that "it was an application process." That raised some yellow flags and I agreed to complete an application. The staff member then asked for my insurance information, which I provided (it is a generous commercial group PPO plan). The staff member then incorrectly informed me that while the specialty and fertility center was in-network with my insurance company, that Clovis Community was not. This is just categorically wrong: Clovis Community is an in-network hospital, verified with my insurance company. Even then I said that was fine: my insurance coverage is generous enough that my out of network care is reimbursed as if it was in-network. She lectured me that wasn't how they worked. I hung up at that point: it was clear they didn't want my business. I can only assume that - in the best case scenario - that the office member was misinformed. In the worst case scenario, they were applying racial screening or other screening. In any case, definitely not the kind of office you want to be dealing with during such an important and sensitive time in your life. Stay away.
