This place turned a scary experience into an oddly comfortable and easy surgery. I was nervous about having my wisdom teeth removed, but extremely anxious about getting an IV (idk i'm just scared of needles). The guy doing my IV, i think his name was Gabe, was very nice, seeing that I was nervous. Anyways, they communicated very well throughout the visit, all the way up until I was asleep which was a surprisingly easy process. When I woke up, I was taken care of well and taken in a wheelchair to my car. The next week at my checkup appointment, we were seen very promptly and the doctors were very understanding about any worries and questions. Everyone was super friendly and even lowkey making jokes so it was a super chill and informative visit. [[SIDENOTE: the inside looks like the backrooms if you know what I mean. If you're picking up what I'm putting down (as some may say) the office's overall theme is like a liminal space. Like I mean in another universe it was probably abandoned 20 years ago, but don't let that get to your head. I was going to demote to one star, but the place is just too good so it stays at 5 stars!!]] Overall, throughout my experience here I was given comfortable, understanding and personal treatment. Horrible customer service. Be prepared for bills to never end. They don't explain things and then keep billing for items never discussed. Very disappointing. Customer service is horrible. I haven't had surgery in 20 years and I went today a bit nervous. From registration with Vidill, pre admin nurse, Heidi, pre op nurse, Evelyn, operating nurse, Karen, surgical tech, Jessica and recovery room nurse, Keely (makes great coffee!), SO nice, funny and tentative and made me feel calm. The facility was clean and tastefully decorated. The staff was friendly and professional. The 2 doctors visited with me prior to my procedure. The only issue was with the amount of time it took to actually get me into the surgery room, however I don't think it was entirely the fault of the front desk staff. They were waiting on a form from my cardiologist's office which created a little bit of a delay. Other than that, everything went well. I can't understand the complaints posted here on Yelp. Some people just need to find anything to complain about. read more

This place, hands down, is the BEST! Compassionate, professional & also, Patient Safety is top priority! I am an RN & saw that some Reviews on here are negative because Summit Surgical had to Prioritize Patient Safety. (Which is truly a positive thing really, especially if you're a patient!) Certain patients are unable to go to Summit based on their own Clinical situation: High BMI's, Recent cardiac stents, certain Transplant patients, etc. This is because they are an Outpatient Surgery Center & these patients need to go to a Facility that has "Inpatient capabilities"(ER, ICU, Inpatient Surgical beds), in case anything unplanned occurs & they need a Higher Level of Care. I imagine it doesn't feel good to be told you can't go to Summit, but I guarantee you, it is for your OWN Safety! As a patient, I wouldn't go anywhere else for this reason. They care A LOT about Patient Safety & that is key! They brought me back to Pre-Op on time & I was done with everything before expected! This place runs smoothly & everyone had a positive & upbeat attitude which made my stay even better! Multiple times, the Staff went Above & Beyond to make me comfortable & feel at ease. I already made my next appointment! If you're wondering if you should go to Summit Surgical, trust me, do it.......you will Not be disappointed! Reviewing the front desk person. This woman (04/08/2022 @ 0845) has a voice like a fog horn. She doesn't care about your privacy, "discretion" is not a priority to her at all. Everything she asked could be heard in every seat in the room, and since she repeated back most answers, your business was out there for everyone. When she asked my mom who was picking her up, my mom gave my first name and started spelling my last name, the woman cut her off, saying they only needed the first name and phone number. Two minutes and four questions later, she asks for my last name. My mom says the name, starts spelling it (it's long), and the woman cuts her off again part way through saying "That's all we need." Also, no where is it posted that family is not allowed to be in the waiting room, but, as it was loudly and embarrassingly announced to me, family will be called to pick up, so I would need to leave. She also yodeled across the room that my mother needed to come get a mask (after my mom had been speaking to her at the reception desk). Again, no signs asking people to wear a mask, just a loudmouth left to shout it to the world. Please give this person some coaching on the difference between "indoor voices" and "outdoor voices." She apparently missed this in elementary school. read more

I had a procedure done here about a month ago. When I got notice of my appointment from Summit Surgical, I looked them up and was relieved to see positive reviews here. Thankfully, my experience lived up to the same standard. I was contacted about a week before my appointment and went through the medical questionnaire. They told me my appointment would be the following Monday and when to expect calls and my appointment time (times are set only a day or two ahead). When Summit called, they were really friendly, not rushed, and they gave me all my instructions and also explained what would happen with my insurance claim and what to expect, which I appreciated. When I went in, there were a few people in the waiting room and plenty of space to socially distance. They gave all patients a fresh surgical mask which I think is a great policy. The receptionists were calm and friendly. I only waited a few minutes before I was called back, and the doctor visited shortly after the nurse got me situated. I was in and out in about 2 hours. Everyone I came in contact with was relaxed and friendly, and I felt at ease throughout my visit. Everything ran smoothly for me and seemed to be going mostly to time overall. They also sent me a card signed by all the support staff, which was a nice touch. It's a very well operated facility. read more

This place has been such a life saver. I am typically a nervous person and having to go to a procedure by myself makes me very anxious. However, it is 2020 and everything in the world is just different. I totally understand they do not want to potentially expose more people to Covid then necessary. Don't go here if you're a plus sized Queen, King, or even if you're a beefy body builder. If you're a certain BMI, they won't treat you here. If you're close to that certain BMI, they'll look for any reason not to treat you. The back-end staff is very rude about it. If you have food or medication allergies, they won't treat you here. If your doctor gives you multiple facility options to have your procedure at, pick another place. read more

Sorry to say nurses arent trained to deal with patients who have had breast cancer. My arms are a mess from two nurses taking five shots to get into my veins. Very very sore now and nurses compounded my sore arm with a poor attitude. Doctot was amazing, kind and professional. He has earned his reputation well. I would definitely recommend him. read more
