For the love of Pete. I wish I could give negative stars. Apt time 12. Arrived 11:50. Gave my DL and insurance cards. I asked if they were on time and was told yes. At 12:25 was called to get my cards. I asked when I was going to be seen as I had a 12pm apt. The gal at the desk said my apt was 1215. I said no. 12. None the less when I going to be seen. The gal said "I'm putting up your paperwork now". I said. That doesn't answer my question. Can you please tell me when I will be seen. Again, was told my paperwork was goinf to be put up now. I advised Further more I must pick up my child by 3 in madera. Blank look from the front desk person. 12:44... Still waiting. ALSO. The "easy access" handicap push button door opener doesn't work. The is a sign and it says "easy open doo activate switch then open door". There is no sign indicating that it does not work. As I've sat here I've watch three handicap people push the button several times. The last lady yelled to the from desk that the button was broken. The lady at the front desk responded by yelling "we know". Why isn't there a sign saying out of order. 12:47. 12:50 finally seen. Talked to the manager Kathy. Very dismissive. Said that she was aware of the problem with the front desk. Just didn't seem to give a shiz. I advised that they have bad reviews and she said she knew. She also knew about the broken handicap door. I said how about putting a note on both sides so that handicap folks are just pushing the button. She said that was a good idea. The crayons don't seem to be the brightest here. read more

I made an appointment weeks in advance and 45 min wait and im still sitting here...walk ins can take 2-3 hours the receptionist says. The place is the worst, try to go any where else....im sure its better then here, also dont try to tell them anything because they dont care. Update i went to complain after 45 min and im still standing in lobby now after an hour ....im standing because there isnt any more seats.. They should shut the doors and lock them for good. read more

The first time I utilized services at this place, there was an error in the CT film I required. The second time I utilized services - a little over a year later - the waiting room was extremely busy, and despite providing updated insurance, an invalid insurance was billed. I had difficulty reaching someone on the phone to rectify the billing issue. read more

This place has some serious issues! I mean ok once I was finally taken back for the scan they were very nice BUT that being said does not make up for the incompetence of the front staff , the congested parking and wait areas!!!!!!!! I'm told to be there an hour ahead so I check in and she tells me to sit down and they will call me! Ok 50 minutes later I go up as I was suppose to start drinking at 2 since my scan is scheduled for 3! Ok so now I'm an hour behind and they tell me oh I'm sorry and this other girl takes over So I get the drink finally and then sit in another waiting area with just a few chairs so I have to now stand as the waiting areas are all full! I just have to say the iv lady and the guys doing the actual scan were great but everything else was just not acceptable and I will not be going back there again! Oh and my scan was put in as stat and hah! You can guess that wasn't read do now I'm having to wait even longer. What a joke ! Go anywhere else but here!!!!! Management needs to address the long wait customers are made to endure. Even though I had an appointment (not a walk-in), I waited over 1 1/2 hours to be called for my procedure. The technicians are great, very friendly and professional. Just seemed like the front desk was calling walk-ins ahead of people who had appointments. read more

This place is horrible when it comes to making appointments for patients. My doctor's office sent over a order for an MRI & 3 weeks later I still had not heard from advanced medical imaging. So I call them & the person who makes appointments lies to me that my doctors office had just sent over the MRI order and she gives me the date of them faxing it over on a Saturday. My doctor's office is closed on Saturdays. Then she tells me they are waiting for insurance authorization. I was furious and called Sierra imaging, had my doctor fax them my MRI order and guess what? Sierra imaging gave me an appointment within 5 days. Advanced medical imaging have lazy staff that have no sense of urgency in scheduling patients. Dont waste your time with them, go elsewhere. I will never go their again. read more

3 stars all of the new and clean facility, the ultrasound tech (can't remember her name) was horrible, trying to force me to perform an invasive radiographic procedure because thats a better way for them to bill the insurance! I said I wasn't going to perform and neither did my Dr recommend it, she kept pressing me and was acting like the ultrasound wouldn't get done except I agree to do the invasive radiography procedure, I had to tell her that it was unethical to force a patient to do something against her wish and neither did my Dr request for it, she finally agreed to do my regular ultrasound after talking to the dr who said I can't be forced to do what I don't want to do, beware, you are your own best advocate read more

Long wait in a packed waiting area; indifferent and rude staff who ignored questions when asked. While waiting a visibly intoxicated man was harassing patients and the staff did nothing to intervene. It did not feel safe; I will never return here. read more

Hard to rate this place.....Very friendly staff, but I had to wait 45 minutes for an appointment that was only to take 5 minutes. After 45 minutes of waiting I had to leave to pick up kids and came back 40 minutes later. The staff got me in immediately upon my return. Kinda frustrating. your know i love this place and the women who work upstairs. but there is something im not to kosher with that the front desk help has to do to check you in, they ask for your insurance card and thats expected but your drivers license. after both cards are taken they ask for you to sit down till someone calls you. my drivers license was in the back supposedly being copied off ( and thats a breach of my privacy ) and kept for 15 minutes. in fhese days of huge indentity theft why would you hand over your drivers license to be held in an office with absolutely no security....not even my bank does that. very dangerous....the four stars are for the girls upstairs : - ) read more

HORRIBLE billing department!! The front office and billing DO NOT TALK AT ALL!! Been there twice in 10 years, made sure on the most recent visit 2-3 times they had my new address for billing. 3 months later, still had not received a bill so called to find out what the deal was-they sent 3 billings-to the OLD address!! You'd of thought after those being returned by USPS they'd of maybe called the front office or something?!?! This after the last visit 10 years ago where they finally sent the first bill after a couple months, then the next day I received a letter saying they were going to turn me over to collections for non-payment! Wow, less than 24 hours to pay my FIRST bill?!??! Just in case anyone needs it-the BILLING department's phone number is 559-447-4022. Service for the appointment was lacking at best. They over-book and I wound up waiting for 45 minutes for one of the "first" appointments before I even got in then extra hour because the x-ray "doctor" got tied up with another patient and had the x-ray technician/radiologist have to finish up the series. If you can go elsewhere, please do, it's worth additional cost not to have to deal with the incompetent billing department!! read more

I have been to Advanced Medical Imaging for numerous appointments but today was a disaster. I arrived at 9:00 am for a 9:30 appointment. The waiting room was jammed with patients. At 9:40 I approached the desk to find out about my appointment. This is after seeing people who arrived after me being called in for their appointments. The front desk appeared to not have a clue. They finally found my paper work. At almost 10:00 I was called back and told there was some sort of a computer glitch. They were frantically trying to enter my paperwork in the system. This problem didn't affect all the others who were entered in the system and processed in a timely manner. Even though the medical staff was great, I will do my best to not be referred to this facility again-go somewhere else. read more

I have been going to this facility for years and i have watched it fall in quality. They missed a simple diagnosis that proved to be cancerous. Yes it looks nice i agree but i believe it is a cover up for lack of imaging quality. I'm lucky to be alive!!!! Yes even though i had an appointment i waited 45 minutes. This place is great to do CT-Scans! When I arrived really early in the morning for my appointment, the receptionist and the other staff were so friendly! The lady in particular, who did my CT-Scan for my left knee was so helpful! It was my first ever CT-Scan and she was there to calm me and to answer any health-related questions that I had. After the completion of the CT-Scan, the staff had then had sent over the results to my primary Doctor within a couple of days/weeks. I wished they had just given me the results of CT-Scan immediately when I had done it, so I could've known what my knee's condition it was in. read more

I was scheduled for a CT scan and was advised needed to be a hour before the scan, I needed to drink some stuff before the scan which I was never told about. The stuff was making me sick and when I went up to the desk to let them know, the could have cared less. Just told me I needed to drink it . I went up again and told them I was going to throw up this stuff. She told me just throw it away and they would be calling me back in a few minutes. While I was sitting them I heard them tell two other people that their machine was broken and they would have to reschedule their appointments. After being there for a hour and a half I was called back just to be told I would have to reschedule because the machine was broke. I gave them my displeasure. They called in later in the afternoon and rescheduled my appointment for the following week. ROUND TWO - showed up for my appointed and after waiting 40 minutes, I again go up to the desk to see if there was another problem because it is now past my appointment. She called back and they advised her I was next when they got done. Now it is 30 minutes past my appointment time and I get called back and tell me their machine is broken again. I was livid and when I spoke to the so called manager I see where the front desk people get their attitude. She was rude and wanted to reschedule m appointment. I advised IF I reschedule my appointment it WOULD NOT BE WITH THEM. DON'T EVER GO HERE THEY ARE RUDE AND HAVE I DON'T CARE ATTITUDES . THEY SHOULD BE ZERO STARS. read more

Try to avoid this place. Arrived ten minutes before appointment and was not seen for an hour and twenty minutes. The carpet and chairs were dirty. The blinds had dust on them. The staff were rude. I had an apt for upper GI xray today. Apt time 8:15am check in time 8:15. was called up a few times to sign some papers and called to the back. I gowned up & went to the xray room. It was all within 30 mins of me checking in! The woman that took me back, Patrice, she was very sweet. She kindly asked if i could be pregnant. My menstrual cycles have been so irregular so i explained that to her. Instead of just sending me home and telling me to reschedule due to the possibility of pregnancy she worked something out with me. i went to the walgreens on the corner returned with a negative pregnancy test and she squeezed me in. Now im not saying this situation is ideal for everyone, but she really went above and beyond. We had a personal moment in the back as well. She really made me feel so comfortable and reassured me that everything is going to be okay. Thank you Patrice, you are a genuine person. Keep up the good work! read more

I have used this place before and the customer service was just okay... today was an absolute disaster. They called me prior to my appt. with instructions telling me they had received doctor request and ins. approval. When I arrived at 7:30 for appt I was informed that they couldn't do the MRI without doctor request. In other words, they lost my doctor request form. I had to wait until after 9AM when his office opened to have another one FAXED for the MRI; they confirmed that one had already been sent. I discussed the issues with manager Kathy who would not take responsibility for the problem they caused. The medical staff were fine but the front office staff including manager Kathy are terrible. Watch out!! One more thing, I asked to take a CD copy of the MRI with me. They sat on the request forever; couldn't leave until close to noon. This place is not worth the frustration. Advanced Med. Imaging is sister company to California Imaging Institute all owned by Community Hospitals. Maybe that is one of the reasons for the bad customer service. read more

Back office technicians are great...always helpful and polite. My issue is with front office people. Recently went in with hip issue, using a cane. I kid you not, I was called up and asked to sit down again 4 times before I had been checked in for my appointment. Uh, hello, see the cane? Front desk is beyond inept. Too many bodies all doing parts of the job. Ridiculous. Took me back 2 hrs after my appointed time. Nowhere to park, no place to sit, the moment you got up, someone stole your seat. Don't make me an appointment and then make me wait 2 hours to get a 5 minute x-ray. There is no reason for that. Same story last time I came in with husband. Then they wanted me to sit down and wait so that I could pay them before I left. Really? I offered to pay at the beginning. But apparently that did not fit into their abilities. Only reason to go here is they give an 60% discount if you do not have insurance. Appreciate that, and the x ray techs, the rest need to be replaced. Management, I hope you are listening! read more
