I've been to this location a number of times and it has been hit or miss with them having my lab orders and or being very kind of caring. Today I was taken on time, the waiting room was full, and the technician named Claudia was excellent at the blood draw and very nice to speak to. If it were possible, I would ask for her again. This location has plenty of parking and is close to my home so generally, I like to come here. Through my online Quest account I was able to check in online. There is no one at the reception desk and if I wasn't able to check in online, there is a kiosk to check in on. There is also a sign on the doors to where your blood is drawn or where a urine specimen is collected (whichever is applicable) saying not to disturb. or more accurately please do not knock the door. The waiting room is a sterile environment. No one is there to help you with need be. My appointment was for 1 PM and I was called at 1:20 PM. My blood was quickly drawn and she put the standard tape on it with a gauze pad. The gauze pad came off within a half hour after it was put on. read more

I had such a rotten experience with Quest a few years ago that I torched them in a Yelp! review. I got into an argument with two of their phlebotomists that was so heated the office manager had to step in to cool things down. I decided to give them another chance today and was pleasantly surprised by their professionalism and efficiency. For starters, it was easy to book my 2:00 p.m. appointment online, and easy to use one of their two check-in kiosks when I arrived. I was seen for a blood draw exactly on time. I hadn't expected this because there were about a dozen people in the waiting room when I arrived at around 1:55. I was out of there and on my way home a 2:12. That is all I have to report, and I am rating this visit five stars. read more

Quest is so automated at 10151 Enterprise Blvd, Boynton Beach Fl, that the fact that your phlebotomist are efficient is overshadowed by 1) no receptionist 2) the inability to have any human contact by phone will make me go in the future to your competitor. read more

This was my second visit. The first time I was there it was just awful . Crowded, machines didn't work properly and the staff were somewhat rude. This time it was 100% turn around. In the past I have experienced long wait times and slightly impatient nurses, but today I had a phenomenal experience. I checked in on my phone as soon as I walked in and within 5 minutes I was called to get my bloodwork done despite there being at least 6 other people in the waiting room. The nurse that helped me was extremely kind and friendly to me, I was relieved! I wish I remembered her name but I just remember being in room 4. Not only is this place so poorly run, the employees are so beyond nasty and seemingly constantly angry. They also speak such bad English that it's nearly impossible to understand them or for them to understand you. I will not be going back here ever. I am actually really angry about this location and the way they treat the patients. I wish I recorded it to show to corporate but I doubt they care and don't already know. To top it all off, the person who did my blood draw was physically rough and made the whole procedure so painful when I never experienced pain in a blood test in the past. It's a lab for blood work, urine etc. Not sure what (if anything) else they do. You can make an appointment online, show up and check in on the phone via the text they send you. I went in and I barely sat for 40 seconds before they called me back, blood drawn, peed in a cup and was out of there in less than 10 minutes. The woman got my vein on the first attempt, no bruising. Easy peasy. The only thing I can suggest is to PLEASE allow for more openings for early AM appointment. We have to come here yearly and we usually book it almost 2 weeks out and you have to fast for your routine blood work and all the morning slots were taken 2 weeks in advance. read more

I had to go here to just off a sample. I needed a location open on Saturdays locally. They are in a medical bldg on the newer side. They are on the 2nd floor. In the elevator, they have self sanitizing buttons. I've never seen that before- I wonder how that works. The office is very clean. Ally, employee was very nice and very helpful. she helped me and she helped someone else who was there and needed more guidance. My experience at this Boynton Beach location was a thousand times better than my last experience at the Palm Springs location! I only came to this location due to a random morning opening showing up in the Quest online calendar for appointment setting. Although it is a little farther than the aforementioned other location, it is well worth the extra few minutes of driving. This Quest is located in a very nice, modern medical office building. It is inside of the building on the second floor, so you have to park in the general parking lot and enter through the main lobby and use the interior elevator to go upstairs. Everything was spacious, clean, pleasing to the eye, and well organized / easy to find. I followed the mobile text instructions to check in to my appointment. A kind Quest employee held the door open for me and checked my temperature upon entering. I used my phone to check in further and sat down in the clean, spacious and nearly empty waiting room. My name came and went on the huge tv screen on the wall, but it took a few minutes before anyone actually came to get me. I didn't have to sign any forms or show anyone my insurance. Not sure if that was good or bad, but it definitely made the visit easy, safe, short, and sweet. I was ushered into a modern, clean room where a nice tech took my blood in mere minutes. Had STAT request for my teenager to get blood drawn to see if she needs to be admitted to hospital. They made no effort to prioritize her being seen and had zero empathy! The place was a zoo with more then 5 people complaining that they had an appointment and the system said they did not. The staff simply rolled their eyes and threw up their hands to anyone who tried to get assistance. Very dissatisfied and disappointed on how little they cared or helped. People have told me horror stories about Quest Diagnostics... For example blood work test is not a breeze, the employees are not very nice etc etc. Nothing like that happened to me. I made a appointment online and waited about 5-10 minutes and my name was called. Cassandra who took my blood was really nice and was able to talk about something else while drawing my blood. If I had to go here again I would hope to get Cassandra again. She not only was nice but was fast with updating all the information on her portable computer and getting my insurance card etc. They do accept walk ins but not on Saturday. They have multiple signs about no walk in appointments on Saturday. In the weekdays I would still suggest making an appointment since people with appointment get priority. This is the worst quest location I've ever been to. Online it says you can be up to 10 minutes late until you're considered a walk in. I arrive around then and they tell me I'm more that 1 minute late... couldn't even talk to a regular employee it was a security woman that didn't care. I have always had very nice competant technicians on Saturdays when I usually use this office. My husband went today, he is partially blind, walks with a cane and does not drive. AFter Ubering to his appointment and showing up early, the rude woman siad he did not check in properly and they could not see him (this was less than 15 minutes after his scheduled appointment time). I am not doubting he may have made a mistake in check in, he is partially blind and after walking from the lobby to the office, was in extreme pain. He was not rude and NEVER is. He was so upset he left. Will never use quest again - lab corp is accross the street and they took him as a walk in. I will be taking off of work tomorrow to confront this person. read more

After explaining to Maria that if she couldn't find a vein on my right arm, they always find one on my left. She saw a vein in my right hand and I explained to her that I really don't like needles in my hand so could she try my left arm. She scolded me and said she was going to get another person who did come in and immediately found a vein in my left arm. Maria needs a course in how to work with patients. Staff members at this location are rude. Doors open at 6:30am, we walked in at 6:29am since we heard the doors getting unlocked while waiting in the building hallway. While checking in and using the automated system, a staff member walked into the office shouting "You should not be here, we open at 6:30" which someone replied, it's 6:29 and the door was opened, while saying that, the clock turns to 6:30am. The Staff member was heard badmouthing the office allowing patients to walk in before 6:30am Everyone is entitled to bad days but starting a day like this makes me think some people should be looking for other jobs. read more

Arrive early! This office is completely automated. For those who are not familiar with checking in using a scanner this can be a daunting task. Many of those in the waiting are not, and questioned why their names were not on the screen. When they asked for help it was not forthcoming. They were treated with total contempt and asked to sit down. No one was willing to listen to them or offer assistance. This left those here wondering if they would be seen or needed to reschedule. I have always had issues feeling lightheaded after a blood draw. First time here, I tried to tell them that this happens. I was dismissed. Tried to bring it up again. Was told it was "all in my head". After blood draw, was tried to be rushed out of the room so they can take the next person. Sat in hallway as I was quite lightheaded and they continued to ask me when I was leaving because they needed to close for the day. Terrible treatment here. Was 5 minutes late and they switched me from appointment status to walk-in. Told me it would be an hour wait and did I want a text and wait in the car? I did. one hour- no text. one and a half hours- no text. Called and only got press this or that- nothing live. By that time I had invested 1.5 hours waiting, so I thought- ok any minute. I had a 1:00 pm appointment. At 3:3o they closed. No text, no call, no nothing. Was stupid to wait that long, but keep thinking - any minute now. There were at least 25 people from in the waiting room and they were buzzing about them being 30 min behind on apptmts. Should have left then, but now I have to reschedule the Quest apptmt AND the dr. Appointment that was dependent on results. I guess this will teach me not to be late- but a 5 minute grace period? corine was a very nasty lab technician taking my bloodwork. i had a urinalysis order sent electronically to quest. the lab technician refused to look it up even though order was sent electronically. and the other lab technician was able to find it on the computer. this lab technician, corine was belligerent and very nasty. wouldn't let me email it to her, she made me go back home print it out then bring it back. had to knock on door. girl was nasty about the urinalysis. quest quality is 1 out of 10. good customer service definitely is non existent at this location read more

Customer Service goes a loooonnnnggg way. I know you're busy. I know its stressful. I know you probably don't want to be here but you are. Having needed a drug screening sample for a new job opportunity, I was pre-registered by the company to have the sample taken at that location. Had no clue they had a location out there so I learned something new. I entered as a walk-in nearing the time frame to complete said sample. There were approximately 8 patients in front of me. I wait. One of the older clients walks up to the window to complete paperwork and the rep makes a joke.. he being hard of hearing, misses the joke and can't understand why everyone is laughing. The patient rep dismisses his questions and just says never mind. He walked away confused. I like a joke like the next person but professionalism is of utmost importance especially in this line of work. So I finally get called 40 mins later (not too bad for a walk in) and the rep who assisted me was in the worst mood ever. Me: How are you today? Rep: Please put your belongings in the lock box. Me. ohhkay... Anywho, I get done and ask for the id number as directed in the email. Me: Could you please provide me with the id number? Rep: Um, ma'am that info is not shared anymore Me: okay, the email I received says... Rep: well your email is wrong Me: (blank stare) Rep: Ugh, fine! Here...
