The staff here has always been lovely to me. They are skilled and pleasant. I've always been taken on time.

To there credit they are understaffed. I do prefer Labcorp however my insurance is not affeliated with them. I went in to a room full of inoccent patients just trying to get their blood work. I had a lady next to me crying as there was a problem with being seen and she had surgery the next day and needed the bloodwork that day. I have another onslaught of disgruntle patients just fuming. They set it up now where there is no one to great you they all are in the back and come and just grab the person they need not giving anyone else the time of day. I had an apt and it was pushed back an hour. To save mine and everyone else's time I decided to leave and try my luck another day. But it seems like more and more this is everyday now for quest. They need to open up more places in Boca it is just so sad to have to go through this torture everytime you need blood work. But once your back there and you finally get picked like winning the lottery the girls and sweet and efficient. But trying to finish that obstacle coarse to get to the finish line. I had an appt today and had my confirmation # and I confirmed my appointment. I went in for appt and signed in but came up that appt was for another day even though my confirmation showed the date I went. I tried to speak with staff behind counter but she ignored me. I then signed in with my phone number and Name. It then showed on screen as a walk in. I had this appt for 3 weeks !!! During these times of Covid, they don't even check temperate and seating was not feet apart. I decided to wait outside as it initially showed 1/2 hour wait. I them checked 20 minutes later and said 1 hr wait. I decided to leave. 10 minutes later I get text to come in for blood work. This is the worst quest with staff who is not helpful! I went in at 3pm to drop off a culture and a rude and dismissive woman said specimens have to be dropped off by 2:30pm!!! There Is no signage stating this!! Needless to say, had to throw out the culture given it was nearing expiration. I will be sure to let my doctors office know not to use this location. Extremely poor customer service!! read more

Worst experience at this location. Waited for 1 hour for a 1:00 pm appointment. Not enough seats in the waiting room. Stood for an hour waiting. Then got called and went back to the lab room. Attendant was rude, rushed, curt and actually yelled at me. Really? U yell at ur customers? I was told at 10:00 am when I called "you can take a photo on ur phone if the labs ordered by your cardiologist". Showed up, waited an hour and then told by the surly attendant "u can't use a photo. U have to call ur doctor and have them fax it over. I have other patients to see". I stepped out of the room to look up my doctors phone number and Evette yelled at me "u can't stand in the hall. Go outside and do that. I'll call u when the fax arrives". I'm sorry but who are u yelling at. I left. I'll take another day off to get this done by professionals who don't talk to patients like they are school children. Evette needs an attitude adjustment and has no business working with the public. This is my third time here and every time the two women sitting in the front are extremely rude to all the customers. They have a short temper and seem aggravated to be at work. Maybe someone from corporate should convey to them that if you are dealing with customers, then you cannot have such rude attitudes and be abrasive towards the customers. There was an older gentleman that was fasting and was waiting 1 1/2 hrs for blood, his wife asked if they could squeeze him in since he was starting to feel faint, the women at the desk yelled at her saying that if he wanted to be taken on time then he should make an appt online. This elderly couple clearly does not know how to do this. I feel so sad for the elderly couple as they were frail and clearly not well. read more

Horrible customer service. They make you wait even when you're just dropping off a sample- 15 minutes, more and more.. I got tired of waiting so I stepped out to the grocery store next door, came back a minute late, and they made me re-check in and basically go to the back of the line. While I had a baby with me. Yesterday I went in to get some tests done for my doctor. At the lobby there is supposed to be a screen where it says your name and how long you're supposed to wait until they attend to you. The TV was of course broken where we could not see our names and only the time making it completely useless. While waiting there was a patient waiting who was complaining that she had not received her results and that their phone was disconnected and she could not call. I waited 1 hour to be called in and while waiting i remembered last time i had come it said 20 minutes and I had also waited for over an hour. after being attended very poorly by someone with no will to do any work I go home and tell my doctor I had finished my exams. The next day my doctor called saying the do not know where all my blood and urine had went as they had lost it. We went in person to complain and while waiting in the lobby with the screen still broken we find out yet another patient was there because the same thing had happened to them where they lost their bloodwork. I then left the place very disappointed as I was informed that my exams weren't lost but were only going to take a few days for me to receive the results. I then called my Quest Diagnostics location which by my surprise the phone was disconnected. We then tried calling the central office for quest diagnostics and we are told that my doctor had canceled my exam and that we would need to re take them. to me it sounded a lot like the operator was just making excuses as they had just lost me exams. I am very upset with the quality of this lab and will not be coming back to any quest diagnostic place ever again. I suggest you do the same. read more

Meanwhile, the staff was friendly and efficient considering there were only 2 people attending. Marcy A was great from start to finish. I have nasty veins and she got it on first try. Awful. I went in last week as a walk in at 12:30pm. Was told very rudely that walk ins are only in the morning. No problem. Came back today at 7am. One person in waiting room besides me. Check in and get called to the back by the same rude woman as last week. Paperwork in hand she asks "who sent you here". I told her I had 3 Drs that all want blood work done. She says "names"!? As she's looking at the computer, but not looking at my paperwork....finally she "recognizes" the last Dr. I ask her, do you want to see my paperwork? She says "no. I have it. We will start with her order". Still not looking at all at the rest of the orders I have in hand that are not in the computer. She walks out of the room, comes back and says, "since you're a walk in we can only do one order". Again. Never looking at the paperwork and not caring that most of these are duplicate orders that one test would suffice....incredible. I walked out. Save yourself the rudeness from the staff and go elsewhere. read more

I agree with Susan P. This Quest Diagnostics location is the best. From check in to finish the staff is pleasant and efficient. Marcy is very proficient in what she does. She is always pleasant, professional and can find a vein without any problem. I hardly feel the needle when I go for blood work. She really is caring. read more

My complaint is with Yelp needed to update Quest locations as I drove to 2 first that were no longer there! Wasted over 30 mins driving to locations not even tther ZGot to quest 8:15 with no appointment and was seen by 9am which isn't too bad and staff was friendly. read more

Can't say enough about how wonderful Marsye and Nicki are . I always have a problem when I go for blood tests, no one can ever get my vein. But these two lovely ladies always get it on the first try without a problem. In fact one of the other techs had a hard time and Marsye dropped what she was doing and came to my rescue ! Incredibly slow and unfriendly staff. I overheard the staff being rude to literally every customer they interacted with. I took my child for bloodwork and after finally placing us in the room, the technician went into the breakroom (it is labeled breakroom) and stayed there for 13 minutes! Now dealing with a young child who they should know may get nervous or anxious thinking about blood work, common sense would tell you that they should draw the child's blood quickly. Instead they left us there while they took a break. Who treats a child like that? None of the employees smile and they hardly even respond when someone asks them a question. It is hard to believe they can operate like this, but I suppose they know most people have very limited choices of where to go given health insurance rules. read more

If I could give this location zero stars I would. Rude and unprofessional front desk staff, extremely behind schedule with booked appointments and painfully slow with walk ins. I have been to plenty of Quest locations over the years and never once have I had to wait longer than 15 minutes for a walk in, and never once have I had to make an appointment. Multiple clients walked up to the front desk to question their unreasonably long wait times and received curt, snarky responses. Clearly not one of their staff members has any customer service, or common sense, on how to deal with people. A sad excuse for a Quest clinic. As someone who is actively job searching, it was disheartening to see such a well known company hiring such incompetent excuses for employees who deal with client relations. Many good people could fill the position of the two wenches behind the front desk and provide a much appreciated positive experience for those needing blood work. read more
