Bad service, bad drinks. They had over 20 staff walking around a restaurant not even half occupied but finding a staff member to help you is near impossible as they all just hang out around the bar and in the entry way talking amongst each other but don't help guests. Okay I'm doing it three stars for a reason. First of all first I'm ever been here. The seats are not made for plus size people and they don't have anything to give you if you are a plus size. I am not extremely heavy but I am heavy and I am plus size. And the seats were extremely uncomfortable floors are sticky. I ordered just chicken nachos nothing fancy about it had better chicken nachos. Waitress is very nice very sweet lady don't remember her name. I think I would have been more comfortable if I had a wider chair. The chairs are made how they're made so they can't really just go and have them and if they had one without arms have probably been more comfortable but the only ones they had without arms were the bar chairs. And I'm too short to sit on those things. So in all 3 star rating. Probably won't come back here read more

Our server/bartender/manager "Valan L L" is the epitome of "The worst customer service" Lets begin... we walk in at 8pm (1 hour before close, keep in mind he admitted in error of last call and/or closing hour) we sit down, takes 3-5 minutes to greet us (no one was at the bar, where we sat), brought us the customery chips and salsa and water. perfect. Next. We ordered. Perfect(minus the 4$ upcharge for lettuce/tomatoes and 3$ upcharge for a ramikan of cheese) AND I QUOTE "WE ARE NOT THE DUMB WHOLE IN THE WALL MEXICAN RESTURANT THAT GIVES OUT FREE SHIT". We order. There was a ton hype and anticipation surrounding the opening of this restaurant, and I would say that most of it was warranted. Super clean, nice decoration, and lots of staff. The hosts were quick to seat me and my partner, and we were quickly brought some chips and salsa. The waitress did lack some enthusiasm, and me and my partner were not really greeted. I thought it was pretty clear that we have never been to this establishment before, and we were looking over the drink and starters menu, quite befuddled as to what we should get, and the waitress did not offer any suggestions or ask if it was our first time here. Just begrudgingly said that she would give us a moment. Overall, service was good and the food was good, but ultimately quite basic and lackluster for the price. I wouldn't give this place one star. They got us confused with a table for 4 and seated us wrong. The waiter didn't speak English, another waiter came over to assist with taking the order. We received someone else's plate. The burrito and 2 sides were all wrong. The waiter had to get the other guy to assist. All he did was bring 1 of the correct sides. I asked for the other guy to come back over and pointed out he never brought the other 2 corrected items and he brought over the broccoli only. At this point we just ate what we got so we could leave. The pork and steak both had lots of fat. You'd think they would trim that off before serving. When refilling the drinks they brought back the wrong drinks. The food is way over priced. It is not a fine dining experience to deserve those prices. We had an awful experience here. For MANY reasons. 1. We dined with 2 adults, a 14 year-old, and our twin 12 year-olds. No one asked if we wanted kids menus, but when we sat down, they had given us 1 along with the regular menus. One of the twins picked a dish that was only offered on the kids menu. When she ordered it, the waitress said it was only for 10 and under and she would have to charge the adult price. I took this to mean that she would get an adult-sized entree but no, when the food came, it was the tiniest cheese quesadilla and a tiny portion of beans. And instead of $8, we were charged $10. Why did they give us a kids' menu in the first place if we couldn't order off of it? But I didn't even argue that because we had bigger problems.... 2. When we gave our drink order, we also ordered a queso dip. While we waited for the waitress to take our order, we munched through a basket of chips. Then she brought a second basket of chips. But no one ever came with the queso or even checked to see how we were doing. Next thing you know, someone from the kitchen brought our entrees. Among ourselves, we noted that we would have to be sure we weren't charged for the queso when the bill came. 3. No one checked on us while we were eating. We were finished and sitting there for at least 10 minutes and getting antsy to pay and leave. My husband and kids went to the car and I stayed to pay. Finally the waitress came and started clearing all of the plates. She left to get a box and brought me the bill. Immediately I told her that we did not get the queso and wanted it taken off the bill. She ARGUED with me that we did and that she had just cleared it off the table. I asked her what dish she cleared that had queso and she said a large bowl. I told her that there was never a large bowl of anything, only our entrees that came on trays and a basket of chips and smal bowls of salsa. She said she had to go check with someone. Meanwhile I called my husband back in to corroborate my story because obviously they weren't going to believe me. After he talked to someone that I think was a manager, they finally took the queso off but..... 4. Now they showed me an electronic device with the charges. They wouldn't let me hold it to look at it in detail. I had given them a $10 coupon and it didn't look like it appeared on there. I told the lady that and she left and returned with a printed ticket. Again, it didn't have the coupon on there. I told her again that it was missing and she FINALLY returned with the correct bill. The only positive in this whole experience was that our food came out quickly. Every part of the service was poor, including the extremely shady way they handled the bill. We are a family that eats out a LOT but we will never spend our money at this restaurant ever again. read more

Was super excited to try this place since I still have not found a descent taco in Plainfield. I will never go back to this place. Service, food, and cost are all factored into my review. Server had no business being on the floor alone during a soft open. Not her fault. She barely spoke English which created a lot of order errors, but again not her fault. Manager made the choice to put her on out on the floor. Food was poor to mediocre. I appreciate good food and definitely don't mind paying, but $210 for 5 adult meals and 4 kids meals ((my grandma had to order off the kids menu because it was the only way she could get ground beef nachos, apparently they will allow all other meats on regular menu nachos aside from ground beef)) for mid food and poor service is enough for me not to make that mistake again. Tops shelf margarita for almost $20 was tasty though;) read more

I've been going to this location since they opened. I went today as a treat after having lab work done, and it was not what I've experienced in previous visits. The server had no clue what the menu items were, and so when my order was absolutely wrong, I wasn't surprised. I ordered a plate of 3 crispy ground beef tacos, which come with beans and rice already (plain Jane, I just like my tacos). He asked me what side I wanted, I mentioned that the menu said beans and rice were included, he just laughed and said oh, ok. My plate arrived with 3 street tacos with a small scoop of rice. Street tacos are not crispy tacos. I said I didn't think this my order, and he said no you ordered the crispy tacos. I asked him if he actually thought the tacos on my plate were crispy, he said well, yeah they are. I tried to eat the food because I was so hungry after fasting for the lab work, but you know, it just wasn't what I wanted and so I left more than half of it on the plate. To make it worse, the street tacos are a few more dollars than what I ordered - no offer to adjust the price to what it should have been, or even to comp my iced tea. It only takes one bad experience for me to find a new place to go, and I won't be going back. I"m sad that customer service took a back seat today. It wasn't just that a mistake was made - that happens, I get it. But he argued with me, and didn't try to fix it. That should never happen. read more
