Passing through Hanford today needed lunch. So decided to check this place out. As the name states quesadillas are the main dish. Any kind imaginable unbelievable and the sauces wow very good heck you know we brought some home with us. The service was limited but Johnny was a one man show. Once he took our ordered he disappeared to the back. Not sure if he was preparing our meal ? But when he brought it out it was good and the sauces were very good. Now the vibe of this place was very eclectic , had a bar but I don't think that was a main stay of the vibe. This was more of a come get some good food maybe have a drink while you wait and head out. A little updating would be nice and freshing up. But johnny did inform us they have other locations in the valley so maybe we will stop in and check those out. However I am a fan of small local businesses so stop by say hello and enjoy. read more

Decided to swing by this location to try out their specialty quesadillas. It was so what stuffy and humid inside, so I opted not to dine in but order for takeout instead. I was craving pork and decided to build my own quesadilla so I ordered the chili verde with pork. My cheese of choice was their white mix, which included Jack, mozzarella and provolone. My filling choice for my made quesadilla was their fajita veggies and pico de Gallo. My two homemade salsa of choice was their Roasted Red Salsa and Spicy Salsa Verde. Brought it home and my mouth was watering!!! The aroma smell great but after one bite, I was sold!!! I'm definitely hooked on their brand of quesadillas!!! I got a chicken quesadilla with cheese, rice and beans. My wife got an asada quesadilla with cheese, rice and jalapeños. Both were very good. The avocado and sour cream dipping sauces were also pretty fire. For desert we got the sweet dilla which is essentially peanut butter, jelly and Nutella in a tortilla. In all honestly the tortilla ruined it. I understand this is a quesadilla place so they tried making quesadilla deserts but tortillas are just not good with sweets. Have eaten here several times and food was great as well as service. No complaints at all. However, ate there today for lunch and service was great but food was not the same. Ordered quesadillas and the consistency of cheese and beans was awful. So sloppy it had to be eaten with a fork. Even had them make it over and still the same. Cheddar cheese seemed different and beans were piled on with too much juice. Asked some friends and they said it was recently sold to new owners to a franchise. Disappointed with slow service, poor apology for the long wait time. Understandable people are doing their best but there was literally no one in front of me when I arrived and the people who ordered after received their food prior to me. Nope. Wouldn't stop here again. Wife and I were looking for some quick food and a cold drink. Walked in (never been here before). No greeting from the staff. No sign saying "seat yourself". We sat at the bar and were handed to menus. Again, no greeting. Bar tender went back to video game conversation with 3 other guys at other end of the bar. Literally had to say "excuse me" to order something to drink. Bartender looked irritated that I interrupted and ask questions about drinks and food. Ever since that very first bite of cheesy goodness dipped in the liquid gold sauce (seriously the best one!), I've been hooked. There was a farmer's market type of event around the corner from this location, and my friend and I walked up to the Quesadilla Gorilla truck. However, they didn't have any vegan options on the food truck menu, so we actually just walked over here. I think the special of the day was something with chorizo and corn, so I was naturally quite bummed they were out. I ordered the Evan Boling. I was a little hesitant about the spice level because of the jalapeños, but everything ended up being very well balanced. Helpful staff! And they even have a very convenient system for letting you know when to pick up your order. Staff is masked and gloved, very informative when asked questions and just pleasant overall. The food is delicious and the portions are big!
