The lady behind the counter was training a new staff, she was very helpful and informative, explained the spice levels options, ingredients and sauce varieties. Ordered the large pork burrito to share with my significant other. Choice of whole wheat or white burrito wrap. The normal add-ons, black & refried beans, brown rice, lettuce, tomatoes. Jalapeno, cilantro, etc. Added a lime Jorrito soda, nice crispy lime flavor. Large burrito was enough to feed us both, no issues with excess gas emissions or bathroom emergencies (lol). Disappointed as the pork was not flavorful or seasoned well enough, however the ingredients all blended well together. I have been visiting the Warden Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East area recently. I was at Adonis and decided to place a takeout order at Quesada for dinner through Uber Eats. My thought was to place my order before doing a bit of shopping at Best Buy. There is a Quesada by my workplace. Have I ever been there? Nope. I thought that it was time to check this franchise out. This Quesada is where Quiznos used to be. It's next to the former Lick's Hamburgers. It changed names and offered the same menu, but it looked like it was closed for good when I saw it. Sad. I got the following items: - Mexican street corn (limited time) - Burrito bowl with grilled chicken and guacamole I like that I was able to customize my burrito bowl. I got these ingredients: - Grilled chicken - Black beans - Refried beans - Chipotle tomato salsa - Monterey jack cheese - Smoked paprika mayo and vegan sauces - Shredded lettuce (base) - Guacamole (extra charge) - Diced tomatoes - Corn - Red onion - Mexican street slaw The app said that my order would be ready in fifteen minutes. It was more than enough time to find an item at Best Buy and pay for it before I fetched my food. There is plenty of parking in this corner. Quesada is steps away from Best Buy, so it was convenient to walk over after shopping there. I stood where the pickup area was. A woman said hi. I indicated that I was picking up an order and showed the order number from my app. The woman nodded and said that she was nearly done putting it together. I got notification that it was ready, but it appeared that this place was busy putting together two other orders. The store looked clean and cheerful. It does not resemble the old Quiznos interior and structure at all. I waited for probably five minutes before my order was ready. It was in a paper bag. I thanked the man who handed it to me and left the store to drive home. I got home and chowed down. I started with the Mexican street corn. It comes in small and large sizes. I got the small, which ended up being in two little containers. I love corn. This Mexican street corn is a westernized rendition. I liked it. The corn was perfect. There was cheese and cilantro, lime, a bit of chile, and dressing. The dressing was supposed to be creamy, but I didn't see anything creamy about it. I went with the smoked paprika mayo. It was to my liking. I've had over-cheesy, creamy Mexican street corn and I didn't enjoy it. I'd get the large next time. My burrito bowl was made as instructed. You get the option of a rice or lettuce base. I got the latter, which is my usual. The grilled chicken was yummy and perfectly grilled. All ingredients were fresh. The two sauces united everything, creating one happy bowl of goodness. It was delicious. I'm so glad that I finally got some food here. There wasn't a BOGO deal when I placed my order. Ordered the bowl and was I surprised with what I got. It looked like a child bowl which absolutely tasted bland. There was no taste of the cilantro lime, or the pineapple habanero or the green medium salsa. This place should not even serve food. There are lot of homeless people start giving it to them instead of selling to the public. If I can give 0 stars I would. Very disappointed. The size was enough for a child. read more

Quesada Burritos & Tacos - 1/2 of a chicken bowl - Mexican Near Me - Scarborough, Ontario

We stumbled upon Quesada after a trip to a nearby supermarket. I was sold on the idea once i saw "burritos & tacos" It was close, convenient, but that's about it for me. This was my first visit to Quesada, so naturally i had a few questions about size of the burritos, ingredients and i wanted to see what i was ordering. I ordered a large carnita burrito with: brown rice, black beans, tomatoes, little bit of lettuce (they tried to put more lettuce than the other toppings) guacamole & the cilantro lime sauce on the side. The toppings looked fairly fresh, but no different than any other fast food Mexican spot. I asked if the carnitas were spicy at all, and the answer was it was more on the sweet side, no heat. Ummmm, wrong, it was a lot spicier than i was looking for. The heat of the spice was all i tasted in the burrito. It was also A LOT larger than the photos in the store. I wasn't happy about that because i wasn't looking for a large meal. Plus it was mainly filled with rice & lettuce and not an even balance of meat vs veggies. My hubby ordered a 3 taco meal. He was happy with his food, but said it was not far off from Taco Bell quality, lol. We also ordered quacamole & chips and a cheese quesadilla for my oldest. She loved her quesadilla, but seriously, how can you mess that up!? The best part of the meal for me was the quacamole & chips and then leaving. The entire meal was not worth $39 and change. The food's delicious. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. There are lots of vegetarian and vegan options. It's spacious and seems accessible (I'm not an expert). Finally writing a review for this place! When in the area or just wanting a quick burrito this has become my go-to place! Super friendly and fast service. I ordered a veggie quesadilla and a spicy chicken quesadilla. Once home I discovered that the tortillas were not golden brown but looked like charcoal. I did try to contact the head office but received no reply. I'm very disappointed as I never had any issues at the downtown location. I was hungry so I ate the filling and put the char broiled tortillas in the green bin. There are other options in the area so I will not go back. read more

Stopped by this establishment on my way to teaching @ Centennial College and thought I would try them. Quite frankly the Burritos are forgettable when compared to some of the other Burritos outlets in the area. Definitely the worst fast food location and chain I have ever eaten at. We work on the road every day so we get around... Cheap and terrible imitation of the chipotle franchise, but more expensive and less food. Taste is just meh at most, and service depending on who you get may vary from terrible to just O.K. This is a new place that just opened. The service is excellent and it's the only place I found that serves hard tacos around us. There are other mexican places but they only have the the soft ones.
