    Mussels & Pork Buns
    Grover G.

Queequeg's is such a good consistent restaurant in nantucket, their menu has a little bit of everything. From sushi, to meats, and soups. I got the mussels and they were tasty, nice portion with a couple Pieces of grilled bread. It needed herbs or something to freshen up the dish but still delicious. The pork belly buns were also great, you have to eat them as soon as they get to the table or the bun cools off and hardens a bit. Nonetheless it's a solid restaurant offering delicious food at an affordable price in nantucket.

Our hopes were high for this place as many people we passed said they loved it. Unfortunately my tacos didn't have a ton of flavor, the fry seemed overdone, and more unique toppings or some sort of house-made sauce would've been nice. It seemed like there was little effort/creativity for this dish. The fries were barely seasoned and also seemed a bit overcooked. The fish on the sandwich was very fresh but besides that, lacking flavor. The fish to bread ratio seemed off, with there being excess bread. The service was great, as my water was constantly refilled, and the food came quickly. I would not return here, as we could easily find better food elsewhere.

Outstanding! The chowder is among the best of the best. We had the fish and chips and it was exactly how it should be served. Not over breaded. Light. Fluffy and full sized portions of cod. Great service. Fantastic cocktails. Highly recommend.

A tiny fun - cobble stone side street to street side bar with comfy seating and good drinks ! You have to walk by to notice it between the shingles- but so worth it. We had sushi- and it was delicious!! No comparison- best on island by far... fun afternoon vibe before dinner and left wanting more food - I could eat there every day! Wish we stayed for dinner...

The service was great! Our server was super friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. Clam chowder was hot and creamy. The steak frites was cooked perfectly and how I requested it. Was give a large side of truffle fries- my fav! We split the crème brûlée but I wish I had it all to myself!! Would definitely go back here!

We had a reservation but still had to wait 20 minutes for our table to be ready. Regardless of that issue with the hostess, the rest of the staff was friendly and the food was delicious! Everything came out fast too.

We came here for dinner a few nights ago and had the Dynamite Shrimp to start and the Halibut and Ramen as our mains. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The Dynamite shrimp are cooked in a very light batter (almost like beer batter or what you might get with an upper tier sweet and sour chicken/pork) accompanied by a delicious spicy/tangy sauce. Highly recommend this dish. Only complaint being the shrimp are a bit small in size. The Halibut was a little overcooked and dry but the risotto it was served on was delicious, and the sauce (a type of bernaise) was great too. I thought the ramen was a little flavorless compared to what I'm used to eating at places that specialize in Ramen (I should have probably ordered something else). All in all we had a good experience and would come back again.

There's a place to park, I can walk in, order a fried fish sandwich, look at some lobsters in a tank for ten minutes (the best part) and be out the door with a hot n ready fried fish sandwich in my hands. On my last visit, the woman at the counter was so happy. I was already happy because I was getting a fried fish sandwich. And then I was feeding off of her energy, and I was just having such a great moment in Sayle's Seafood! Now, I could sit in and eat here and bask in their fishy glory since there are tables, but I have yet to do so. I also love the view of the harbor from the front porch and that it's tucked down that little street and the vibe is so island that it contributes to the over-romanticism of Nantucket that happens in my mind but that's okay. The fish sandwich was really good. The time before that, I ordered the clam strips side, which was a lot smaller than I believed it was going to be. They were small individual pieces and fried well-done, while I do prefer a softer crunch. Next time, I will order the clam strip platter which comes with accoutrements. I also had their clam chowder, which I also thought was pretty good. I will be back for more seafood, and I hope that it is soon!

A simple request. He disappeared for 15 minutes while he checked. This required a yes or no answer from the kitchen. As it turns out, they did not have it. After having been brought to our seats at the bar, then told they were reserved, we were walked back outside to sidewalk and into adjacent restaurant's (boarding house) dark & dank -empty- bar (with music blaring), we asked if an outside sidewalk table was available. Yes but we needed to eat & leave by 7:15. It was 6:15. We said yes because we knew (ASSUMED) that was possible. Though there were 3 2-seat tables available, she put at a table almost on top of a table of 6...3 very loud & ill behaved children. And that's where we remained, waiting a while for "server" to ask us for drink order, then finally take our dinner order (never mentioned the specials; I had to ask) and then we waited & waited (meantime 7:15 came & went) for our very small servings of boring (& room temp) cod & even smaller ("share plate"?!?) of crudo. And because the plates most likely sat in kitchen & wee ignored by pit "server" the fish was not hot and the crudo was not cold. Never again Pearl, never again

No reservations and early season, we had no problem snagging a table for 2. However, a friend recently shared they were told a 45 minute wait the other day. Heads up, while no kids menu, they did say they had a secret one - I'm imagining coming from so many families popping in. The burger as was $18 and a double patty with no toppings and homemade chips. The chowder was also really good with I believe some pork in there. It's been a minute, so I'm a little rusty. Service was great and kind. I didn't order any cocktails, but they did look small for the price - they may be bottled? I could be lying there.
