I've had lashes before and wasn't super thrilled with the application or how long they held up, so I did extensive research to find the best possible place this time around. Cherise and I discussed what length of lashes I'd like, and how dramatic I'd like them to be and we got down to business. As Yelp had been featuring a deal for $60 for $100 I decided to go for the second longest lash extension option, which I believe was marketed as $349 (for the synthetic Xtreme lashes). Maybe pricier than your $60 Ktown job, but definitely worth the value. She laid me down on her super comfy massage bed and set to work (after applying a cooling undereye strip to hold down my bottom lashes and removing my makeup). During the middle of the application I had to use the bathroom, and she told me to check out the lashes while I was there to see if I wanted them any longer or curlier. I did want a little more length and drama, so she added longer lashes for the last half. These lashes have lasted over 4 weeks and look INCREDIBLE. They are so natural looking and have held up through a week trip to Miami (during which I swam in the ocean, pool, went on a super windy airboat ride in the everglades, etc) and then back at home through excessive heat, more beach trips, and daily super sweaty work outs. I also haven't felt the need to use mascara or strip lashes since I've gotten these extensions applied. I will DEFINITELY be coming back for refills, great conversation, and laughter. Cherise is the best. Best value, best environment, best lashes.

Definitely pricier than other lash places but definitely worth it for the quality. Updating my review: it's been one week and my lashes look just as good as when I got them! None have fallen out! I did Gel X full extensions with nail art. It was my first time doing Gel X. Overall, Gel X didn't damage my nails the way acrylics or gel do, which was great. But it also didn't last as long. I probably got a week of wear before my nails started popping off, which was fine by me but something to note if you're looking for more longevity.

I have decent volume and length in my eyelashes but they are VERY straight, which means they're not easy to work with, but she was able to make the fake lashes look beautiful and natural. She trained in South Korea and New York so she really knows what she's doing. Her office is immaculate and calming, and she's very kind. Takes COVID protocols very seriously which is great. The only downside is that it's quite expensive but so are the other eyelash studios in Boston. I would definitely recommend CJ eyelashes/Christine to anyone who wants high quality - it's worth it. I used to get fake eyelashes every 2-4 weeks for 2 years straight so I'm very picky. Will definitely be coming to Christine any time I need fake eyelashes for a special occasion!

The technician told me she was finished and asked me to look in the mirror, but the entire appointment was completed in only 45 minutes. I was surprised that a $288 lash extension service could be finished so quickly. I wasn't happy with the design, so I asked her to make some adjustments. The direction of some of the lashes still didn't look right, but I decided to leave because I didn't think making further changes would improve the result. For the price, I honestly didn't feel that the design or application was done well. I also noticed that my eyes felt uncomfortable every time I blinked after the extensions were applied. I thought it might just be because it was my first day, so I tried to tolerate it, but the discomfort continued. I was told the extensions would last around 4-6 weeks, but mine started falling out the very next day. Even though they were already falling out, my eyes were still uncomfortable whenever I blinked, so I eventually had to go to another lash salon to have all of the extensions removed. I feel like I completely wasted $288. I would not recommend this service based on my experience.
