I'm not sure they check those, so probably just call them if you want an appointment. They seem reasonably popular as there were already four people there before me, and two more came in after I did. Services took longer than I expected because they were in process with other people as I got there. Since I wasn't in a rush, this didn't bother me. Yesterday afternoon I got shellac done after full removal of dipping powder done at a different salon. This was my first time here since I'm from Austin. The staff was nice and took me in right away as a walk in, which i appreciated. My nails were a bit uneven when I left but I have not had shellac done it a while so I assumed it's how shellac sets. The staff asked me how I was throughout this process and listened to how I liking my nails. That evening my boyfriend grabbed my hand to hold it and one of the nail repairs (fake nails) that was added during my visit broke off along with half of my real nail. Then this morning I woke up to one of my regular nails with shellac being broken in half. This was my first time getting my nails done in San Marcos and I definitely will be back! I decided to get a mani / pedi in preparation for my birthday and I'm very glad I came here to do it. I came midday on a Monday so it was pretty slow, allowing me to seen immediately. The woman doing my nails was very kind and gentle. She took great care of me and my nails look wonderful. Prices are pretty reasonable here. It got a little busier towards the end of my visit, so it may be beneficial to go at odd times but you can always call ahead and get an appointment if needed. 1. I called and asked for a ballpark price for a short basic acrylic set. They said $35 on the phone but when I went to pay it was $55!!! Insane. My nails are literally almost as short as my real nails and I requested square but of course they never listen and did coffin instead. 2. I'm so upset I spent fourty five dollars for shellac on my natural nails and I got them done on a Monday and Thursday two if the started to lift and Saturday one of them completely popped off. I just moved to the area about a month ago and was looking for a place to get a pedicure. This salon is about 10 minutes from my house, so it's super convenient. I walked in without an appointment about 15 minutes after they opened and they took me right away. The entire experience was absolutely wonderful! I saw Charlie and I believe she said her name was Karin. Charlie took off my previous polish and gave me my calf and foot massage which was to die for. He did such an amazing job and I felt so relaxed afterwards. Karin then came over and painted my nails, and I asked her to round my tips a little bit because they were a little sharp for me liking, and she did a perfect job! Absolutely Terrible SNS / Dip manicure. I asked my manicurist multiple times to fix some issues, and it just kept getting worse. I finally gave up trying to communicate the problems, bc she was clearly not going to give me what it was wanting. I asked for an almond shape, but first she gave me round and when I asked her to fix she gave me something resembling what I'll call 'soft coffin'. There are also both dips and bumps, not smooth at all. Some nails are super thin, some are incredibly thick. They also charged me $10 more than they did for the exact same thing 2 weeks ago. Oh! And she got the dip product all over my hands and I asked her multiple times to use polish remover to get it off and Instead SHE USED A ROUGH NAIL FILE ON MY SKIN. I'll never go back read more

I want to start by saying the people here are super friendly and nice. It was my first time coming in here and all I asked for was a short all white full set. Pretty simple. My nails were crooked and uneven and each nail was a different length. The nails were also very bumpy and not smooth nor clean looking. Overall each nail looked different besides the fact that they were all white. I would've said something in the moment but I was honestly just waiting to see the end result in hopes of it turning out good. I'd give my nails a solid 3/10. I even looked over at the girls getting her nails done next to me and her short nails were also uneven, bumpy, and crooked. I loved loved loved this nails salon! I'm so sad they opened when I only have half a year left in San Marcos. My friend and I went in today without appointments and they took us in right away. They offered us something to drink (water, soda, wine) and asked us to choose a color. I got dipped powder that's originally $40 but had 20% off because of their grand opening! All the staff was super nice! The guy that did my nails was super attentive of details and making sure I liked it! I got a single color but the don't charge for choosing more than one color. They also don't charge for square, square-oval, and oval shapes but they charge $5 more for stiletto, coffin, and almond, I believe. They also mentioned how if one of our nails was to break, they would not charge extra to fix it, which I think is amazing! I've only ever gotten pedicures here, but I've been really pleased each time I've gone. The first time I went was after not having had a pedicure in seven (!) months. My technician was very sweet and took the time to do what she could to get my feet looking soft and nice again. I was back a week later because I messed up the polish by dragging my toes against a pool wall trying to get out of the water (I think; I had had a few beers...). I was annoyed that I had the spend the money again, but truth be told, I really needed another callus treatment regardless. I just had my third pedicure from this place yesterday, and it looks great. The previous pedi, which I had gotten three weeks ago, still actually looked pretty good and with no chips yet, except it was growing out. Aside from being satisfied with the service, this is the only place I've been to in San Marcos where they didn't try to upsell me or spring a surprise charge on me during payment (I got a manicure at another place in town that advertised for $15; I asked for buffing instead of polish, and wasn't told it was an extra $5 until it was time to pay. Boooooo!). Other things I like: it's clean, the techs have always been friendly to me, they offer a drink before service (with COLD bottled water), and as a Texas State student, I get 10% off. read more
