Cons: Needs additional staff, Facebook appointments may not get checked. I came in after calling to change the appointment I made through their Facebook page. I'm not sure they check those, so probably just call them if you want an appointment. They seem reasonably popular as there were already four people there before me, and two more came in after I did. Services took longer than I expected because they were in process with other people as I got there. Since I wasn't in a rush, this didn't bother me. Staff checked in with me at every step of the process and multitasked really effectively. I'm very happy with my gel French tips on my natural nails.

I recently visited Milano Nail Spa and had a mixed experience. The salon itself was beautiful and…read morethe staff were friendly and welcoming. However, I was disappointed with the overall value and communication regarding services. I received a lavender pedicure and a dip manicure on my natural nails and asked for an almond shape, but my nails came out uneven and more oblong with inconsistent shaping. I received a lavender manicure and the massage was way too rough with the exfoliating scrub. I was also told something would be applied to make the nail color brighter, but was not informed this would be an additional charge until checkout. "Chrome" was added and I had no clue as I just started doing my nails after more than 5yrs of not going to a nail salon. During the manicure my cuticles were cut very aggressively and I went home with bleeding and soreness. For the total price of $200, I expected better quality, gentler technique, and clearer communication about add-on costs. I did tip, but not as well as I normally would. I believe the technician did her best, but it wasn't up to par with the pricing.

I was very intrigued by the way she completed my desired results. Especially, because she seemed to be more than a bit of a perfectionist. Which I absolutely loved!! As she noticed that I was no longer reading, she engaged in chatter. She was very genuine and engaging. What she didn't know or understand, she was quick to ask. The other nail techs that I could see were completely engaged in conversations....with customers. Nice..lol The manager and owner were very visible on the floor checking on customers and bring more supplies to other tables. Something else that I found intriguing about this nail shop, was the number of chairs they had and so so many gadgets. There was this one gadget that sucked up the dust when having acrylic nails done! Woah :-) super cool !! They also have military discount and the prices weren't too bad either. I plan to return

10/10 service from DIU, she's was amazing and very sweet will definitely be returning!!read more

I love Diu, she is very talented, hard working and does an amazing job on my nails everytime I come…read moreback to her. I referred my mom here and she was so happy with how Diu took care of her. Was very attentive and great customer service. One thing though that I do want to point out. If your a customer who is looking at which nail tech to choose, I highly recommend Diu and if your new you need to make an appointment and when you get there go straight to her chair which is #7. When you enter go to left side and you'll see number #7. Why Am I pointing this out? Because not everyone in this Nail Spa works with integrity which is very sad. I just experienced a very disgusting behavior by one of their techs names Vi. I walked in another lady asked me how she can help me I told her I have an appt with Diu and I'll just sit down and wait since I already spoke to Diu on the phone. And Vi came up and asked me what she can do for me, I look at her and was 100% sure she was not Diu. I told her I have an appt with Diu and she then tilts her head acting confused so I pulled my phone trying to show her the text that maybe I was in the wrong place or maybe I was saying Diu's name wrong. I heard Diu's voice calling me and I turn around and saw her telling me sit at her table. When I sat down I came to realize what Vi was trying to do. I work in a sales job and experience sales theft and poaching of customers and Vi was trying to pretend either she was Diu or that there's no one names Diu there. This is very wrong, I pay good money and leave a generous tip because when I see someone goes above and beyond to make sure I love my nails I will come back and bring people with me. That's who I am. But not everyone in this nail salon believe in their own capabilities and talent that they resort to taking someone else's customer. The other nail tech should WORK HARDER to be known for their work to gain more customers and not take Diu's customers that she builds relationship with and take care of. I hope the Spa owner reads this, please address this. You're gonna lose customers if this toxicity keeps happening. No one wants to be tricked and lied to because what if Diu wasn't there to guide me to her chair! Then Vi would have lied to me to try and poach me. That is disgusting behavior. But overall, I love this Nail spa!
